When I don't have any ideas or inspiration, I keep watching Scar's old videos. This is just beautiful, and it's almost 4 years old! (At the time I'm writing this comment)

I am so utterly addicted to your build style, it leaves me in awe. Your eye for detail, especially how realistic the landscapes are, is spot on perfect. It's a great inspiration to watch you create. I am so glad you joined Hermitcraft, I may not have found this channel otherwise. Keep up the amazing awe filled work, and your wonderfully beautiful outlook on all things. Onwards to greater things! i started watching you during this season (after xisuma and rendog kept praising you as the one true minecraft artist over and over again) and it was in times one of the few things that provided a much needed distraction from the horrible experience of loosing my mother at the end of last year... when nothing in the world could really cheer me up especially your and xisuma's positive ways of looking at things helped me to not fall into despair too deeply and gave me some strength to keep on going and be there for my family instead. :) thanks for that

Over 4 years later this is still my favorite Hermitcraft base (and one of the reasons why the Mesa is one of my favorite biomes).

I have watched and enjoyed every episode you have put out in season 4 and many of the live streaming hours too. The contribution you have made to the HermitCraft server this past year has been nothing short of awesome and I very much look forward to Season 5. Thank you for everything you do scar, you are so inspirational, be it with Minecraft or Planet Coaster and it makes me a happy bunny when I get a notification telling me you have uploaded new content. :)

I use to watch your videos like crazy, but I don't know what happen where I couldnt find them anymore. I finally found them again and im so excited to "attempt" to build whatever amazing things you did while I was lost lol.

Hi Scar! I can't really say what that was my favorite build made by you. But something I can say is that every building/thing you have built looks great on this server. It is two episodes I think was special and that gave me a lot of inspiration. That is the two episodes in Impulse' base where you terraformed around his awesome house. I think the final result was very nice, and I haven't seen something so well terraformed as that! Now I'm going around, and am so excited to the new season with you and the other hermits. I love modern style in Minecraft! So can you, my favorite youtuber, please have a modern theme in the next season of Hermitcraft? As I have said a lot of times before; KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

my favorite part of this season was at minecon when scar said "well hello there my mellow finers and crafters!" XD

I don't know what my favorite season was. I do know that ones we can download the world me and my daughter will go visit all of Hermitcraft 4 together and we will definitely come visit your base!

# favoritebasebuild Ok, couldn't pick just one. Top three; 1) Hermitstone (really honors my back yard) 2) Enchanted book library. (absolutely love LOVE libraries). If I could in real life, I would design and build a library first and then build my home around it. 3) Any and all cave work. What you manage to create with limited blocks in stunning. Now, and I can't express this strongly enough; You, dear heart is the best build of all. As a grandmother I've lived long enough to see how people build their lives. You inspire me every day to reach beyond my self imposed limitations, to monitor the Bob the creeper negative attitude that shows up doing great damage, and to recognize and appreciate all the people around me. Looking forward to season 5. Deepest thanks.

My favorite build wasn't actually in the base. It was the Hermitcraft Courthouse Mini-Series. I hope to see something like that come back in season 5. I actually built a replica of it in my creative world (taken some liberties of course) for my city. #favoritebasebuild
