So good on you for that 👍 I love the fact that you spoke the Truth about not having your helmet 🪖 complete on the show (even though it usually is) as I REALLY APPRECIATE HONESTY good or bad. ... Thank You for your dedication in continuing your show, & keep up this great content

Thanks for the budget options but at 52 I’ve decided if I can’t afford the quality version I’ll just wait and save my money until I can because generally the budget version is a budget version for a reason and I end up having to buy the quality version anyway. Thanks again, Rick

I have repeated the mistake over and over of buying the cheaper alternative only to end up buying the more expensive equipment later. I would have saved so much money if I had waited and bought the quality equipment instead of both.

Cheapest Opscore helmets I've seen run you above $900 (TeamWendy is probably up there too)... night vision mounts can cost you around $500. Take note that you may find some "deals" on Ebay, but you are more likely to buy some knock off chinese shit.

Children cannot use a ballistic helmet. Falling with the 4 pound weight of the helmet alone will snap their underdeveloped necks and rattle their brains. A bullet smacking the helmet will only increase the damage to the brain. Lucky adults get severe brain damage from a bullet smacking their helmets direct. They will die a slow painful death. It is better to put the young ones in a puff football helmet. The black scout himself is using a bump(non ballistic) helmet. Most soldiers opt to wear less weight on their head. His helmet setup is at least 6 pounds.

@@welderprincess133 batting helmets are great! Perfect fit and surface protection. The most important use of a helmet is protecting the head when falling and bumps, especially when in panic. A good swing from a baseball bat has a similar effect to a bullet in many cases. The concussive force and impact still does damage to the neck and brain. A bullet has much more force than a person swinging a bat. When a ballistic or steel helmet deflects a bullet without any damage, it was the will of God. Shrapnel and bullets do penetrate ballistic helmets. Not to say that ballistic helmets are great for adults. The most protection is always best. These infantry veterans know best how to avoid being shot from their experiences. Keep preparing, stay safe and God bless you!
