Do what wasabi cars did, take a nice enjoyable break from the hassle and only make content when it best suits you. Your true fans (including me) won't mind you making less frequent (but just as amazing content) if you really need to. In behalf of all your fans, we are here to support you.

I think that there are people that will just hate to hate. We as your true fans enjoy what you do and if needed a break, then take it. Keep your head up and keep building.... Sean

Bro, I wouldn't let comments like 'where are your finished models' get to you. You build because you enjoy it and you build because you want to. If they want to see finished cars they can build their own or go elsewhere. I can tell you now I don't watch your videos to see finished builds, I watch them because your a genuine chap who's entertaining and shows real interest in what you do 🙏. Thank you for your videos and dedication, "fuck haters" 😂

Been there done that with the heart not in it thing. As I was building and learning i kept adding more detailing and scratch building to make each kit better then the one before. I experimented with painting techniques and detailing to the point that modeling was a chore. I took a long lay-off (15 years) but still bought kits. Moving twice across country and moving 400+ kits, my wife asked if I was a modeler or a collector. I pulled out the first kit that gave me satisfaction as a build (amt's 69 roadrunner) and built it box stock. It took me a good week of evenings after work but the result was amazing. My wife and kids were amazed that I opened a box and built a car that looked so well. I was happy and felt that spark. I have since branched out by building many modern Japanese kits (I was strictly a muscle car guy) and have built my first tank and plane. But I build for me. Best luck moving forward.

+mytdck1 It's fantastic that even after all that time you still had the love for the hobby! I don't think the love ever dies to be honest. I can see where you're coming from on the chore side of things. At the end of the day, as long as you are happy with your builds, that's all that matters! Be sure to post some of your progress on the Facebook page and send in the Roadrunner in for a Feature Friday, would be an honour to feature it!

Hey Elliott, I'm sorry reading and hearing about your heart not being in the hobby right now, I've been there and it's not pretty. I agree with some comments below that you need to make the videos less frequent and enjoy building cars once again in the remaining free time. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy watching all your daily videos and am always looking forward for the reviews and tutorials, but I also miss your builds. I remember you building that cool Integra but I've never seen it completed. You have some other cool builds, like the red Nissan Z too. So take some time off the videos and get back to the modelling bench.. building cars. We would love to see videos about your completed builds too so go on.. let your heart into the hobby again by finishing that amazing Integra you were building :)

Don't let these people get to you, why are you letting them get under your skin? We are artists & we build models as our way to have fun & to keep busy.So what if it's perfect or not, it's our build & not theirs! They didn't build it & if they see you as a failure, well my friend, then they are the failure themselves for not trying to build something for themselves! You are not the only builder that's going through this, I too have been down this road & still going down it, shits never ending my friend! Ignore it & just build when you can, when you want & however you want to build it! From one artist to another, have fun & enjoy it, don't let others sway you. I enjoy your vids & take a small break, then get back to it. Kutgw, peace!

I really like your modeling channel .I just found it just got back into the hobby and I have 63 kit to build I'm mixing and matching kits. I really appreciate your reviews and insight into all the kits you review. As they are all imports to me living in the U.S. .To answer the question on why imports are more on facebook and American muscle on KZread . For me living in the U.S. The hobby shops I go to don't have a good selection of imports .and if I order them online their more expensive than just going down to a shop and spending a few dollars vs paying more and then having to wait for the delivery .but I do love imports and just stick to something I really want like skylines ,nsx, and Toyota. But thanks I enjoy your channel and its a lot of inspiration .but don't push your self when you don't have it in you that's how you loose your inspiration .and the fun of it all .thanks again

Hi, I really enjoy your video and i did used your unboxing as reference before i made any purchase of the mention kits. I think you should take some rest or break in the model kits scene. Let the time heal you and let adjust your focus in the mean time. Its not healthy putting the stress in yourself to fulfill the internet demand. Modelling should be fun but when its eating you inside i think what the point of doing it. Let the fun bank reload again and when the time and mood comes. I will always welcome your come back. Be strong bro. Thank for all the video and effort in doing it before. Really appreciate it. #keepmodelling Are you going to let go some of your kits??

It takes a big person to realize that they need to pause and walk away from it for a while. I totally understand your decision and hope that you have already started building for yourself and not for others by this time in 2024. I personally would like to know if you have. As I said a LONG time ago (maybe when you first "re-appeared"?) Erriott, you've been doing a great thing to the hobby and modelers in general with all your videos, reviews, and tutorials... It makes it easier to get a "proper" look to whats inside a kit, how bad an E30 from Fujimi looks (LMAO) and if a model/wheelset worth buying or not... Plus, at least to me, the way you are in your videos make 'em "easier" to watch... Now, two questions... I see you have some paint bottles of FolkArt/Americana (that yellow one)... I've been using it since I started in the hobby back in 2007, and even when not so many people know this brand(s), I feel like it's one of the best paints for matte look, and the finest for interiors and matt black details... Handbrushing it is such a pleasure... What's your opinion on it? and second question... When will you admit that you love Euros over Japanese cars??? XD

I have model railroading friends who have tried to make their hobby a business, either by doing custom painting or opening a model train shop. When your hobby becomes something like a job and you HAVE to do it, it stops being fun. I myself have gotten some comments about my lack of progress on my models and have felt a bit of pressure to build faster than I can or want to.So, is the VW diesel scandal as big in Europe as it is here in the US? Here, there's all kinds of reports that either the small diesel is dead here or that VW may even stop selling cars in the US.

Do or don't do whatever makes you happy first off. It doesn't bother me if you build often or not. Though the problem with not building and being a person who is in a position where a mass amount of people are tuned in to your opinion, tips and thoughts is relevancy and expectation. And im sure you have fans that want to see your finished work. The problem currently with this hobby is the ego and pedestal builders put themselves on. And everybody wants a hobby page and youtube channel so they can be special. Also its way to many people in this hobby who don't build, barely builds, or doesn't build anything decent who always got something to say, or trolling or want to be negative. So with that being said the last thing this hobby needs is another person who is all talk and nothing to show for it. Not saying that's you at all. Its just way too many not putting up and not shutting up.

Are you also posting random Shit on KZread? just SHUT the fuck up, copycat, nobody wants to hear what you gotta say, Clay Davis/Weedy/MistorShakotan/Seymour Pusshy or whatever multiple identity you woke up with today... BTW, what Hobby DOES NOT really need is "modelers" that put together shitty models in a weekend time (quantity>quality), copy others ideas and then call themselves "trendsetters", try to fool other people in the hobby saying they painted Prepainted models, and act like everybody is against them when they havent made a single thing that deserves respect while on this hobby... WORD.

I not even trying to shut you up, bcos you won't ever shut your fingers, Glen "Always-having-the-last-fucking-word" Hall... How is it that you are doing different stuff? Is that "patina non-sense" (that looks nothin like patina/rust) you always try to make on all your POS models the different part? Is trying to fool people with the prepainted kits you "paint" the different part? Obviously that is unique from you... Or you mean the part where you, with your lack of creativity and your "let's steal everybodies ideas", mimic projects from everybody else, not even trying to hide yourself (Like my #FuckRocketBunnies , or Hanzels Patchy AE86, for example...) and pretend to be a trendsetter... LMAO a person with the lack of ideas and creativity like you are must be having a tough time finding inspiration nowadays when everything has been done and you cant show up with your "different shit"... Keep sayin' the same ol' shit, when everybody has already seen you acting like an asshole, parroting everything said by others as your own ideas, pretending like you are the master modeler when you haven't improved ANYTHING since you started (other than painting window trims and lights edges, as I advised you to do back when you first showed up in FB and MSForums...) and keep "detailing" (NOT) your plips with a pair of sharpies, showing all "your ASEs" and how much you know about how an actual car work... BTW, this "replier" has more credit in one single "body over wheels" than any of what you call "your toys"... Plus I didnt have to lie and pretend I do things I dont to "grow" on this hobby... #KeepModeling #Honestbuilderssociety #KeepWeedyAwayFromHisCPU

+Jaime Romano But how can you call yourself a builder? You bring nothing to the table to this hobby but comments. All you do is talk on social media and swap wheels on die cast. Since I got in this hobby in 2012 I have only seen you finish 1 kit and 2 die cast. But you commenting on every group possible everyday. I dont have to lie and pretend my work speaks for itself. You only on 2 groups im in and you blocked me how can you even see what I build?. If you really been paying attension to what I build you would see I use Tamiya acrylic paints and not sharpies. I did copy your fuckrocket bunny hashtag cause I knew you would just be all talk never finish. But I been had that kit and been planned to build it that way. And BTW I started my drift missle multicolor 86 before hanzel did and finished before him despite waiting a month for a resin motor to show up. His was yellow and green. Mine was white with multicolor panels. I give you one hint on how Im different. I haven't built a curbside kit in over a year. And because I been in car culture longer than you be living I can build proper shit without building the same shit everybody else does. #realisticbuilderssociety. #lesstalkmorebuilding #imnotgoinganywhere #hatersgonnahate #trendsettaz #youmadbro

+originalweedy Circles and circles again... You dont have to lie? then why you've pretended you've painted Aoshima prepainted kits? And all with the same BS of "yes I painted it, cant remember the actual colour, it's *insert random car* silver/blue/black..." So far, you've built the red prepainted AE86, the #FuckRocketBunnies copy from mine that was a white prepainted kit (bought another one, orange box, for the engine, then sold the left overs in the prepainted box...), the blue Silvia S15, Green PS13, PoliceCar Skyline, black Crown, R31... And all of them with the same ol' BS of "I Painted them, thz not Aoshima Prpaintd"... And of course, your work speaks for itself, with your ZERO creativity, your ZERO skills, and your ZERO idea on how a car work... How can you be so fucking FAKE, that all your "I buy/own a lot of cars every year" means "I might be buying cars, that sit on my driveway, cos I've got a suspended license for being a cheap asshole runnin' ilegal plates on cars"... How can you be so fucking lame that for trying to sell a car, said you've got a pregnant wife and need a bigger car... BULLSHIT!! And you are the TrollHunter? you've been caught in all your BS before you even trolled... My Goal is to get you out from EVERY GROUP you are in... You were banned with 2 accounts from Creativity, and they know your latest one, and pay you Zero attention... Let's try to do that to every other group, so everybody can see your fake ass BS... How can I see your shit? Because you share and share the same ol' shit over and over, and eventually I can see it... Or people show me your latest lie... Tamiya acrylics youyu got from somebody I know, but with so little colours, that you always use the same ol' sharpies, being a cheap ass and having zero skills... LMAO. You admit to have copied my car, and now you excuse your shit on "I planned it before"... Grow the fuck up, admit you have ZERO imagination, and saw my build when I first posted it on April... But hey now being original is to mimic an idea before the original person thinking it completes it... Same with Hanzel's... that is actually Yellow and grey, what a coincidence... Don't make me talk about your "non-curbside" kits please... showing your fucking lack of knowledge on how a car works... And that last sentence, just MINT. You ain't have to make the same shit everybody does, then why you copy what others do and build the same POS over and over? Just go fucking away, keep yourself hidden in your basement, waiting PoPo to arrive at your door bcos of all your warrants... :) p.d: Now a final question, always had that on mind and never asked, bcos I wanted to be a good guy, now that all your BS has been shown up, it's my time... Living with that white family, is some kind of probation arrangement?

You can use spray cans and still get good finishes but it's still nowhere near what can be done with an airbrush. If you're going to stick to the hobby, I'd recommend getting an airbrush and compressor.

Take your time. Although im still wasnt sure why the "where the completed build" question annoys you. We just curious how did it turns out especially when you unbox soo many amazing and sometimes rare kits. No one ever said oh please complete the build in the next 3 days surely.. When you got one finished just post one or two picture that will do, because as if now, you show almost nothing of your completed build except just one jimny. Im pretty damn sure you are a very good modeller surely theres more than just Jimny after all these years. But hey just my 2 cents.

You should take a break from making so many videos, I wouldn't mind if you make less videos a week, 1 video is even ok. This same thing happened to me last year(just a different thing) and I stop building for a long time.I just don't want us to make you loose interest.

Are you getting paid for doing these videos? Are you getting anything. You need a break before you say screw it all i quit.Maybe making videos is getting to you.Good luck with what ever your decision is.
