Wow! It's amazing how so many of us african american women believe that our hair can never grow this long...when in reality, it can be as long as anyone elses if we educate ourselves and care for our hair properly and frequently. Our hair definitely needs A LOT more attention, but when given we have some of the most beautiful hair on this earth!
I love black women with natural hair.

I used to watch these videos and wonder how people handle the new growth like why stress yourself with all this? . . . why not just go to the salon? A month ago I went to the salon and while the hairdresser was washing my hair she just put a comb in there and started yanking at it. I told her to stop and she just ignored me. Then I bought my products and went with them to the salon but the hairdresser started using her products and explaining to me how the products I have bought are no good. She ended up slathering products with petrolatum all over my hair. I was so annoyed. Now I do all my treatments and deep conditioners at home. I am loving it. My ends look great and I shed very little hair. I am now twelve weeks post relaxer planning on pushing it to 6 months. My hair is very managable because of the products I use. I love creme of nature products especially the intensive conditioning treatment.

I had to read this twice before I finally got it lol. But yes, those are the same reasons why I am learning how to do my own hair and take care of it myself. I only go to the salon for a trim.

I have lost so much hair since having kids. I thought, why not try this out? *ArganRain* has been the best decision! I have seen a very noticeable difference in the fullness and length of my hair in a very short amount of time.

I fear hairdressers. When teenager 1 actually shaved the back of my head. They do what they wanna and whats easier for them. My daughter says I looked like Rihanna in those pics. GB her heart.
Stretching your relaxer make your hair healthier, too many relaxer will damage your hair causing it to keep thinning out. Wearing protective styles helps your ends not to break off. You have to protect your ends for hair growth and preventing split ends.
Could you please next time be more informational when it comes to showing the products as well as be more descriptive of what to do. I didn't understand the green bag method I believe you meanted. I do think you did an amazing job getting your hair to grow.
I love your hair videos. U have really truly inspired me! God Bless!
I have been following you for some time now and I do appreciate you sharing your HHJ with all of us. You are my inspiration!
I'm planning on starting a hair journey and searched KZread for people with similar hair type, similar length at the beginning and similar issues and I found this channel. The content appears honest and inspirational so I'm motivated to start utilising the tips-- now I will have to trawl through all the videos! But well done to the current results. My hair is currently colored, relaxed and below shoulder length and pretty dry-- will see how it goes.
Great video. You did good job on explaining things.
You have such beautiful hair! You are a great inspiration to any one doing a hair journey! :)
I really enjoy your video you are so honest and inspiring I myself I'm going to start a healthy hair journey. You have a beautiful spirit and your honesty was refreshing. You are a lovely young lady and your parents should be very proud.
Thanks so much and I will check out your channel right now! :)
Thanks. Not using heat to flat iron is was my hardest to overcome, I was soooo use to straighten my hair it really took me back when I had to stop.
I am now in my first month hair journey. Thank you for showing me how to understanding the products and what they do for your hair. I use to have long hair but coming out to California back in early 80s cuts were in and I got talk into cut my long locks, perms and you name it. I never needed a perm but it was the thing to have done to your hair. Never again. Hello Journey. You have inspired me. Thanks

Wow looked at a lot of your Videos on your hair journey and you give me hope and will be applying some of the items that you stated in your other videos :)
awww thanks so much and thanks for taking the time to subscribe and watch my videos
yes that is correct. I have been on my Hair journey a year in May
Omg your literally so gorgeous
Stretching my relaxer just means I wait a long time before I put another relaxer in my hair, like I will wait 4-6 months before I relax. You probably want to stay away from flat ironing your hair that much and try slicking it up in a bun if your worried about the frizzes. Try putting a good moisturizer on your hair like Elasta Qp olive oil and mango butter and then putting some coconut oil on top of that and your hair shouldn't look that dry. I use to have the same problem with the dryness.
You are beautiful, thanks for your honesty and advice.
I enjoyed that. Great pictures. What was the hardest thing to overcome during your HHJ?
Thank you so much!
Your hair is Gorgeous!!! I am natural. Hope to get to that length someday soon. Be blessed
You're hair loooks great!!!
Can you make a hair schedule and list of all the hair care products you use to make your hair longer and thicker?
Thanks so much for sharing all you've learned, I've started my own journey, keep me n your prayers
Great Progress!!!!
very motivating !
hey girly, i am a relaxed girl too btw lol i definitely see some of the setbacks that you went through in the beginning of your hair journey. it happens. i had a few of my own too actually. my main one was due to one lady who braided my hair when i was in middle school but that's another story haha just wanted to tell you that you did a great job. keep doing it! you're doing great :)
You're so pretty! Remind me of my youngest sister.
Fantastic Journey!
I transition for one year and then I cut the perm part out of my hair, I didn't do the big chop, but the perm part was cut, but it did made my hair shorter. I was fine with short hair, I just wanted healthy hair, I came a long way, the journey started in July of 2012 and now I'm almost 5 years natural and it was worth it, I love my natural curly hair and I'm glade I did it!
Thanks. Yes I have relaxed hair.
Hello Please what did you apply to your hair for that massive growth.
Girl! It's Nappy, Curly, Wavy! It's alot of everything up on the top of my head every section is different. I got to many textures
Wow, what are all the products you are using? Like shampoos, conditioners, and moisturizing creams?
~I'm glad that you found something that works for you! God bless ☺
Your hair is gorgeous and you are so pretty
Great video sis!!
I love it!!
How often do you wash your hair?your hair really growed .
I cut my hair a year and 5 months ago. I had a short pixie. I had two cuts after that to avoid the mullet. I now am growing my hair to what I had before I cut except I want it to be much healthier . I don't use heat besides the odd time to dry my hair if I need to go out. It's at my collar bone now. I purchased jojoba oil to help with growth and the health of my hair.
Your hair looks great. I would have been bald if I relaxed once a month and flat ironed daily.
Very informative. Thank you!
Happy Hair Journey. Thanks for watching :)
Yes, I straighten it once a month
Inspiring, thank you!
Thanks for sharing you look great, can you add any links to the websites or vids you used? Thanks
My hair has always been my pride and joy. I figured since it is pretty damn healthy, it could deal with some extensions. I was wrong, and now I want to burst into tears every time I look at my natural hair. I just don't know what to do. my hair has also NEVER been shorter than this and it breaks and falls out. What should i do to regrow hair?
Thanks Jose!
how long do you let your hair grow out before your next relaxer?
Thank you so much :)
What do you mean by the green house effect
Thanks I stretch for anywhere from 4-6 months at a time.
Subscribed to ur channel!!!! Your motivational and your hair is so beautiful n sk
Great video!
Aww thanks Chanetelle :)
what do you do after you wash your hair for your hair journey? I run out of protective styles.
how did you end up getting the shorter side to catch up to the other side, i'm in the same situation now but I don't do relaxers I gave my self a bad hair cut a while ago
How do you stretch your relaxer? I started my hair journey like a month ago but I haven't seen much difference because i flat iron my iron every week because my hair is very "frizzy". I usually relax my hair every two months but it usually looks dry and super curly after 6weeks of relaxing :(
Wow..looks awesome
Thanks so much :)
I started my hair journey three months ago and I recently moved to Michigan for college and have no idea how to handle my hair during the winter. do you have any suggestions for me please?
LOL Even when I try not to say it I always end up saying it lol. Thanks for watching :)
my hair and your is so alike love ya!!!!!!
Wow! I love this. I'm just starting out as well. I'm in the middle of going natural and I have gone over a year without a perm so far. Long story short, I can't do this anymore. It's good to see that I can still have beautiful hair even while it's relaxed... I was just doing it wrong. How can I start off? a fresh cut. Like you I have 1 side longer than the other. Plus I am in the military and I'm so limited to buns. ugh. Please help! :/
Pretty!!
Wow that's amazing! I feel really motivated to not give up! Lol :)
Well the first pic was to longest it has ever been. But it keep braking off and getting shorter and shorter. Yes my hair has always been at least shoulder length
Is ur hair relaxed? Great video!!((:
You're so gorgeous!
Thank you so much :))
You've achieved great results. I'm not familiar with the "greenhouse" effect. Well, not the one you're referring to in your vid.

That's what I'm doing as we speak. I suggest using the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil hair products. I'm 3, almost 4, months w/o heat and straightening. And I've noticed my hair is a lot more curly and moisturized and the products smell good :) So good luck.

ILoveStemi (Aria) I'm still growing out my hair. I'm not sure how long it is now cause it's in braids but man it's been a lot of work so far. Lots of trial and errors. Lots of finding which products work best for my hair. But it'll all be worth it ! Thanks for asking 😋☺️

which hair vitamin did you use during your journey?
You're a total babe ! Great vid !
I'm on a HAIR JOURNEY myself! I took medication for 3 months and saw my hair falling out so fast that it scared me so bad, I stopped the meds. cold turkey. I'm on week 9, using; 2 Tablespoon Castor Oil 1 Tablespoon Honey 1 Egg Yolk -----------"''--------- Mix well, spread onto scalp and ends, cover with shower cap for 2 hours, rinse well, shampoo and condition hair. I look so funny when I put my hair up in a ponytail because I have baby hair's all around the front of my head they literally stick straight up. Oh what a problem to have, LOL.😝!
Thank you and Thanks for watching :)
