first congratulations!!! where are you guys from? your lawyer fee was way cheaper than ours. we paid $4500 just for the lawyer. didnt know about that medical should be done before the interview. i did mine right after we paid our lawyer, before she submitted our packet. and good thing coz of covid it's valid for 2 years. we submitted our packet last may. waiting for interview na lang kame. did you just bring documents that they asked you to bring or brought everything?

In 5 years, for your naturalization, you can do it by yourself. You dont need to spend that much. Everything on USCIS is detailed and the application are online. That is what I did. for Greencard and Citizenship application.

Our lawyer asked what name i wanted to go by once I'm married. I told her that I wanted my current last name to become my middle name, and my husband's last name to become my new last name. So my lawyer filed all our greencard paperwork with my new name But. But for our marriage certificate we both put our current names before we are married. Hopefully this helps with your process!! Good luck!!

Hi. We submitted 2 forms (I-130 and I-485) at the same time. We had a marriage interview 2 months ago. Form I-130 was approved. But we have not received the green card yet. How quickly did you receive your green card?

Hello! I'm sorry to hear its taking so long to receive your green card. So for us it honestly only took a few days after doing our interview. However, this was our first time doing this process so I'm not sure what the normal amount of time is, maybe we just got lucky. So maybe you could call the immigration office to ask about the status of your application, or at least they can provide you where you can go online to check for updates maybe. I hope this helps a little bit at least!

@@TheBaileySquad Was it right before the interview? Is the photo taken for the green card card like driver license, or just quick identification for both spouses? Thank you so much for information! We are having a hard time finding detailed Covid regulations.

We got my green card photo before the interview, we passed it along with other documents. Then during the interview I don't remember they took picture of us cuz we had pictures already given by our lawyer...we just came there to embassy for interview while having them taking the video
