So I have watched for years, never comment for the simple reason you get hundreds of comments. But Julia, God love it I’m 65 and the next time I get cold I am putting my arms in my shirt. I remember this, why did we age out of it? They might think I’m stealing but, hey if I get cold enough lol, thank Julia for the reminder.

The tree sculpture you passed up was actually where hot metal is poured down an ant hill. The branches are the tunnels in the ant hill. After it cools, they are dug up. There are never 2 alike.

Eyeglass holder … not sure if anyone commented yet. You need to “close” your glasses and the temples go in the slot and bridge rests in the front making it look like the dog is wearing the glasses.

The Ray Dunn good vibes only is like the one i used to have on my desk when I worked for a community based nonprofit and we were trying to keep everyone positive for our people in need. Passed it on to a co worker when I left because she loved the message.

Those sweet grass baskets are nice. I purchased one (my husband bought it for me) in Charleston SC. It's small with a cover. It was 45 dollars back then. The ones you have are detailed and nice and you have a very nice price on them. If folks out there get the chance to go to Charleston you should go. It's beautiful and you see lots of artist working there. Love it and nice baskets!

I might want that dog glasses holder for the office! I use computer glasses but have to switch out when I leave the computer for something. This would keep them from getting mixed into papers & stuff.

Oh, Jocelyn! You have to fold your glasses shut to make the eyeglasses holder work. Lol. The slot will then fit the folded back end. I have a vintage wooden owl version on my nightstand, and I love him/her so much. Also, the large sweetgrass basket is SPECTACULAR. My grandma's 97-year-old neighbor is from a native American Indian tribe in Louisiana, and she and her mom make (or made, in her mom's case) them. We have two small ones, one by each of these amazing ladies. They are quite special to my family. I hope you find just the right buyer.

There's something about that cobalt blue and white Dolphin Candlestick that just looks recent. The base just seems "modern" with a slick "new glass look". Is there ANY base wear at all? If that was an old candlestick from Boston & Sandwich I'd expect at least some base wear (lots of tiny scratches upon close examination). Maybe its a more recent candlestick from Imperial or Westmoreland Glass? Or a modern repro import from Asia??

You put your glasses pn the holder incorrectly. They would have fit fine.

What is that beaded African thing?

The first sweet grass basket you showed (the tall one) would probably be $800+ if you bought it downtown Charleston from a maker. They have gotten so expensive. I grew up in SC and spent much of the summer on a small island off the coast of Charleston and it's been crazy seeing the prices rise so high over the years.

Eye glasses need to be folded with lenses in front of the figures eyes and ear pieces placed in groove.
