For real! God Almighty, I thought the point of RVing was, like, "boondocking" and "glamping", and not having to spend outrageous sums of money on a parking spot for the night. Hellz bellz, for $600/night you could stay in a four-star hotel overnight w/free room service and all the amenities. I reckon I'm just a poor-ass peon who can't fathom the trials and tribulations of those who have more money than sense! Not that I begrudge anyone who made their money honestly....🤑

I agree, I was having a hard enough time with the $330 a night that I passed on. $600 a night is ridiculous I don’t care what kind of view it has! I ended up making reservation at the KOA on a water frt site for $230. That was for a week so the savings is huge!

I stayed there for a couple of weeks in 2016. Beautiful resort i ever saw. Have fun. What i remember most is, the guy in the golf cart in the morning going around picking up all the empty wine bottles left at the end of each lot, to be recycled.

Great video. I don't recall all those RV resorts when I lived in Key West in the 1980's and did a few trips back and forth to Miami area. I was in the home and car audio business back then and did install a few stereos in the big buses back in the day. They stayed closer to Key West; Stock Island I think.

Beautiful place Andrew. We love the Keys. The past few years since we became fulltime RVers we spend almost 2 months in some of the well known rv resorts in the Keys. 🏝🏖🌊🍹

We have stayed there before, it's amazing! Go to Geiger Key Marina, RV Park & Fish Camp, they have a restaurant with the best tuna nachos ever!

Looks like an awesome place. We have only stayed in one beach front/ocean resort and it was in Destin a few years back. We had a 43ft toy hauler at the time and the back turned into a deck and that faced the Gulf. It was pretty cool but we were jammed in pretty tight with other campers.

This was more of a commercial….

Actually I was thinking about asking you, hey what is the RV lifestyle like at some of these resorts for RVs. I am more into boondocking getting away from dense population areas but wanted to see both sides from someone well acquainted with the aspects of RV living. Thanks!

He'd do better to dump any GFs and keep the dog as a ride-along companion. The dog won't complain about every little inconvenience encountered, nor take half your stuff if the inevitable should occur.

Andrew, I saw you pulling out of The Motorcoach Store last wk and my wife took a pic. We had just come from Bluewater Key. We may have been there at the same time!

It looks like a very nice place, but I have a hard time spending the $330 a night for the normal bay frt sites. Maybe in the future when I’m retired. But for next April I booked a water frt at the KOA for $230 a night. That’s a significant savings for a weeks stay. Not to mention it’s almost too quiet! I like to people watch.

There is an MD on the East side of Oahu that will give it a run for its money.

stayed on 41 for a week. Loved seeing the Military aircraft take off each morning to patrol the entire East coast of America. Very impressive.

We spent 2023 Christmas there fantastic resort.

Stayed there twice, very cool place. Walked by that lot a few times, you were definitely staying in the big baller lots. I stayed near the entrance....but still an awesome resort. Love the Keys, like being in another country but still in America....... "I could say the same statement applies to Missouri or Arkansas but i might pi** some people off"....😁

Let's say you are a lot owner. A hurricane wipes out the park. Who pays for restoration to what the lot was pre-storm? Seriously, I think the hurricane risk is a major facet to consider.

Had the same question and surprised it wasn’t asked earlier. The Florida Keys have a 16% chance of a major storm impact each season with major storm landfall every 6.5 years. Last big one to hit the Keys was Irma in Sept 2017 that made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds over 130 mph. Pretty sure the park got trashed from that one! My Florida friends tell me getting homeowners insurance is similar to getting it here in California…no one wants the risk. Still, a beautiful place and think renting is a great option.

Andrew, this time, I have to disagree with you. I had this resort saved since 2015 and wanted to go there badly. Finally, I had the chance to check it out, and I was very disappointed with how it looked. The only two lovely places there were the ones at the end by the water, and the one you are occupying now is one of them. I thought every other lot was small, and the vegetation was overgrown. Lots looked rundown and seemed to be unmaintained. Small canals on both sides with a view to some condos or apartments could be more appealing. I need something else for the price they are charging. Glad you guys had a lovely time and got a lot with a great view.

Yea this is crazy expensive BUT you live once people and that box your leaving in only holds you. Go take your family, your wife or who ever you just love and do this one time, have you a cup of coffee in the morning or a cold beverage in the evening and watch the sun go down.

When did you and your old girlfriend break up I haven't kept up-to-date.

It looks amazing and in a great location. With the RV industry having such a difficult time as of late it’s such a shame that facilities are only available for those with deep pockets. Personally I wouldn’t spend anything like this amount on a super coach park. I’m buying a chateau in France with land and a couple of air b& bs for a lot less and the food is devine in France 🇫🇷 I’m going to buy myself an RV for touring America and I’ll need to find places to stay for less money. Americans are flooding into Europe at a rate that has never been seen before. There’s a lot of change happening now and nobody knows how it will affect America’s future. I’m hoping that this will improve or my own plans will change. It’s becoming a country for the rich and reverting to a class society. What a shame for the future generations. I’m predicting that housing will be less affordable for many people who live on a minimum wage. This video shows how the market is changing and yet nobody appears to see what’s happening. It’s very sad to see from across the pond. Finally shame on you Andrew for taking your new lady friend on vacation without a new mattress 😮!

Presumably this RV park paid you for this video. You would think that 1) you would disclose this fact in your description as required by the FTC and 2) you’d have done a little better than having your cameraman record a speakerphone conversation with a salesman. Pretty bush league stuff
