    Thanks. I enjoyed watching your video. I have two older pellet stoves. One is in the basement of my 1100 sq.ft. house the other in an outbuilding. Both of mine move pellets as does yours. The pellets are pushed into the firebox not dropped in from an overhead auger chute. I take advantage of this feed method by putting chunks of firewood above the pellet fire. After adding a large piece of maple, in my case, I can turn down the pellet feed rate and let the fire and blower ignite the firewood chunk. I get many more BTU's out of the stove doing this.

    . Make sure you don’t over pack the pellet compartment it causes the auger to jam. Also grease the auger motors when you have the back off Also change the gaskets on the burn pot and blower motor. They do break down and cause leaks. I know I have a Englander for the past 17 years and only replaced one auger motor. Nice video.

    I bought the same stove this summer and installed it a couple of months ago in a rental cabin. It's dang heavy for two men to move. It would of helped if I had noticed after buying it that there were 60#s of pellets in the hopper. Should have unloaded them. Work smarter not harder, I keep telling myself.

I have both set at five and five can I raise the blower up to seven where it could be at five for the feeder and I saw you put a fan on top vents on top, is that where he blows out too, or just in front of it because mine blows out the frontabove the door and I noticed there is vents on top of it so I was just wondering what that does

    Hey Mark you are not using it to in full potential though! I have the same stove and it does actually have a automatic ignition system on the right lower side of the pot. There's a hole right there that there's a ignitor in the line that the exhaust fan blows through the tube and it will lite up the pellets but it can take up to 15 minutes to heat up on it's own. And then there's the initial setup settings to get the most heat from the stove and the pellets! You're stove should run really good and be very hot with the feeder at 3 and the fan on 9. Otherwise you are sending unused heat out the exhaust pipe and not transferring it into the garage. Then there's some even more available tuning that you can do to this particular stove that isn't available to do with other's. There's 3buttons on the lower control panel and you can really tune it right up with those buttons! The first button under the off button is a fine adjustment for the top auger feeder and how quickly it drops pellets into the main auger to the burn pot. If there good hard wood pellets it will run very well on 1-2 the factory setting is 3-5. The second button in the middle is how fast the exhaust blower that is also the DRAFT blower into the pot is set. The factory is usually pretty low and is in the 3-4 range and more times than not it is not set high enough to fully burn the pellets completely to the fly ash point and sometimes it will not even burn pellets to the point that there little more like black Rabbit pellets which is also waisting heat and money and electricity etc and mine and Manny I have worked on I will run them from 7-9 for complete burning to the fly ash and easy cleaning! The last button on the end is how quickly the blower fan will turn on and is directly related to the stove to keep it running and from having to go through the relighting process. The factory settings is 4-5 and it is about 190-220 temp in the rear burner temp sensor. Also have you ever pulled the rear plate off of the back of the stove? If not you should and give it a good cleaning up and on the auger's where the motors hook on there's several bearings and grease fittings to keep the shafts spinning freely and easy. I have seen several of them that the bearings seized up and spun in the cast housing and chew everything up and kinda a pain to fix correct. Also I noticed that when you shut your front door that your handle basically fell down to the bottom of the lock. You should think about replacing the door rope seals and tighten it up and also check the pins on the front door which time to time work out. It will actually make it shut down if the vacuum sensor feels the draft losses. These stoves are extremely awesome and I have gotten mine which is in my house and I live in Vermont and with tuning it up to run as best as possible have gotten a bag of good pellets real hard Wood and had 40lbs last 38hrs continually without shutting it off and not changing the feeder numbers while it was a solid 10-15degrees outside and 70-75 inside of the house! And then there's a couple of things to do that I figured out how to do when the power goes out that if you want to unplug the ignitor and run it on the 3-5 it will actually be able to run off of a 12volt 750 Watt inverter running off of a 600 amp 12volt car battery for about 6 hours before the battery voltage drops. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck. Bill P

    @@Marksmisfitworld are you talking about the plate with the holes in it that the fire burns on? Or the plate just above the burner pot? See the little steel tab above the burner pot! There's a large plate right there that covers a series of baffles that the smoke has to follow back forth to get to the exhaust and draft motor blower to go out the exhaust\wall. And to grease the bearings you have to remove the rear of the Stove behind the hopper basket to get to the inside of the electronics. And then you will see the two white wires going to the ignitor in the small hole to the right of the feed auger. Seriously been a Newengland pellet stove tech for 18+ years and oil service tech for over 25+ years for a subsidy of Irving oil company 2nd largest in the country. The big plate behind the burner pot is probably 12"-12" and it's a pain to clean without a spot vac and a set of brushes like big tooth brushes and be careful sometimes the edges are very sharp!

    @billyputnam6892

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@Wheel-1 sorry that you are having trouble with it. There's a few things that are starting to go wrong with these older ones with some of the plastic pieces and the dry and heat have taken its toll. I saw that you said that you were doing the normal things for the E2 no start o vacuum source. There's around 4-5 things that can be a E2-code. I am going to have to assume by your words that you are having to do multiple starts and it finally gets going or you are manually using some outside source of fire to get it going? There's a few things that need to be checked out to make sure that the safety of it isn't going to hurt you or your family. I am going to assume again that you are unplugging it and have pulled the rear back plate off and you have looked at the bigger items and the auger motors are working correctly and not binding up and you have greased the bearings up on the main shaft's? Have you checked out the plastic rubber whitish tubbing that is hooked up to the exhaust fan housing for any crack's or heat scorched pieces? There's also a little problem with the fire boxes distorting and the vacuum ends up being routed in a slightly different way and it plugs itself up in the hollow parts of the firebox and it's a pain keeping it going until it gets just enough vacuum to keep the switch open to keep the augers going. By any chance have you checked the bolts that hold the firebox up against the back wall? There's 2bolts just under the front door under the ash step plate. There's a gasket on the rear of the firebox and if it has gotten loose or something got too hot and the box is distorted you're going to have to get a new one or possibly 2 of them if the box isn't a flat surface and the second gasket will take care of the distorted box and the vacuum to the switch should be restored. There's also a other thing that happened back then. After unplugging it you have to wait about 15 minutes to recharge the memory capacitors for if the house power surges on\off the memory board would do a restart if the power of the house is restored in a 5-10 minute outage. But if you just plug it right in and hit the start button after it has been completely drained from power of more than 12+- minutes to longer than that the board is in a protection circuit breaker until it recharges again it will be in a clearing cycle and the bottom auger will be the only one on and it will not get out of that mode until it's fully charged and the temperature sensor See's under 100degrees. So just plug it back in and walk away from it for at least a good 15minutes. I hope that this gets you a resolution of what is going on with it and the fix is something easy like a crack in the vacuum line from the exhaust fan housing or up to the pressure switch and from there down to the ignitor hole on the firebox. Check the wire connections on that vacuum switch to make sure all of the blue wires are in good condition and fully on the terminals. Those blue wires are wired in series of the 3 safety switching to control the Augers and the blower motor and vacuum switch and if it has a door switch on the feeder boxes of the nicer models. Ok the panel control buttons and what they actually do nomatter what the stickers say on the panel control. I'm going to explain it from your point of view of standing in front of the panel control and moving from the first button on the LEFT to Right side! Really only need the first 3buttons below the main ON button on the Left. The first button is the feed box Auger speed dumping the pellets into the bottom main Shaft Auger. The adjustment amount is factory set for crummy pine tree pellets usually at (5-6) I have found that the pellets in the fire box are not completely turned to ash and are hard little bit smaller than normal pieces. The Best setup for the ones I have worked on have been BETWEEN either number 1-2 and sometimes I have to go to 3 but the pellets should be fine Ash at the end of the tray. The next BUTTON ON THE control board is The most important thing of all! This button controls the exhaust fan speed and the amount of the Draft in the burner\Fire and the Factory reset is normally set to (6) the only thing is I don't know how long your exhaust system is And how well it drafts with the heat alone! You have to do the work on this one and keep a eye on it until you are sure that it's not over drafting and putting a lot of heat\pressure on the exhaust fan in the housing\piping! I run a higher draft on mine but I have a complicated exhaust. But normally it helps to have a little more Draft in the Fire box and this setting helps the number 1setting. I run the SECOND BUTTON at the higher level of (8-9) but again if you have a short exhaust this level might be on the hotter side but you will know it if it's to high of the scale by listening to the steel creaking and ticking or something like a small jet sound if it's sucking the fire into the exhaust fan in the exhaust housing! The third button is the control of the Room Fan Temperature Turn ON And OFF. The lower the number the Quicker the room fan comes on. I run mine at the #3 Wich is at the 180Degree point. If you have another button on the panel control let me know but it's not a critical setting. I hope that this helps you get back on track and it's a easy fix! Let me know if you have any other questions. Bill

If you use the smaller granulated salt with chloride in it like I do you have to put it in the spreader at the driveway or else it will run out going down the road.

    Maybe cheap pellets, dirty combustion blower/pipe or incoming air restricted. Top quality pellets are cheaper in the long run. Much more heat, burn about 30% less pellets and a lot less ash. On 1-2 40 lb. bags a day a vacuum out the ash about every 6 weeks.
