A guy here. I watched your testimony video and the video of how you two met. The way you look, touch and talk to one another made me weep, because that is exactly what I look for. My generation of men has been so badly addicted to porn and hookups that the whole dating culture became chaos. Spread the message of purity out there with Kyle. Help young guys to learn how to approach women, help young women to value themselves, and most importantly help us fight the new drug leaving men alone and women abundant. You two have that gift, pray for us out there.

Mine was too (porn addiction). My first BF out of highschool had his magazine collection and we're not talking playboy and penthouse 😏 I fought him over it from 87-95 before finally giving up. Told myself I'd rather be abused than cheated on in that form. We would have never stood a chance if Internet had been around them. Nor did any attempts at love thereafter mostly because of it. No regrets tho.

Yes it is difficult out here to see godly men and women. Our generation need Christ more than ever ever. As a single Christian woman I sometimes lose hope when I see how majority of men behave in the dating culture but we can’t loose hope with God all things are possible

I love your "girl talk" chatty videos and vlogs/day-to-day stuff. I think your personality is just calming and relatable and I like seeing or listening to you doing your life. Being real and yourself is like a breath of fresh air, especially when other content creators lean more towards produced or "highly entertaining" videos. I personally do not care for aesthetics, it has the potential of coming off as superficial. The reason why I am drawn to your channel is videos like these, where you talk about things that are raw and real to how you feel. I listen when I’m getting ready and it feels like I’m having a conversation with my closest cousin or my sister and I love it. I guess it really depends on you, because ultimately you will want to create content that you also enjoy doing so you don’t feel it’s grueling. Either way I’m here for the long haul, I think your main focus should be to just reach a bigger audience of women because it seems your subscriber base is women like me, and women of the faith ❤ find a healthy balance 💫 Love you girl, you got this.

Motherhood is a full time job. If you wanna continue KZread because you love it then I would cause a hobby is so nice to keep for yourself. But I wouldn’t put too much pressure on yourself. I think this has been said a lot already, but your presence is just calming and naturally inviting. I appreciate your content so much and your willingness to be genuine about your walk and what you’re struggling with. Though so many of us love you, enjoy this time in early motherhood and don’t feel pressured to produce content unless you actually want to ❤

So many others have already said it, but you are one of the few creators I actually watch and continue to follow because of your authenticity. It's super refreshing and honestly brave in this world where there's so much pressure to employ all these strategic "methods" for "success." What you shared near the end really reminded me of a convo I had with a mentor a few years back. I told him I felt confused because for so long I was interested in reading and learning about "success" and "leadership" etc., but I noticed I was losing interest/motivation and was getting more and more drawn to spiritual formation, soul care, inner healing, etc. He really encouraged me that I didn't need to feel bad and should just follow that leading... because God shifts our attention towards different things in different seasons for a reason. Looking back, it makes total sense now why God did that, because that shift was just the start of a brand new chapter in my journey that I wouldn't have been able to experience if I'd kept trying to force myself to do the things I feel like I "should" do - versus what I was just genuinely hearing and being tugged towards by the Holy Spirit. A phrase that keeps sticking with me that I felt God speak to me so clearly the past year has been: Passion fuels, but purpose sustains. I had been finding myself paralyzed by sooo many options, but what I realized is that it's not bad at all to try different things and just test them out... but at the end of the day, what I really need is a CONVICTION this IS what God has made me for and is inviting me to focus on in this specific time of my life - otherwise it's sooo easy to eventually just fall off the tracks / lose motivation / stop when things get hard if you don't have a compelling enough reason and WHY behind it. (A "why" that really resonates with you, not just one others say you "should" have.) Praying that God would reveal to you the specific thing(s) he's calling you uniquely to focus on in this season of your life - for yourself, your family, and his Kingdom purposes. Whatever you choose to do (or not do!), as long as you keep walking with him like you already have been all these years, his amazing grace, sovereignty, and provision will be ALL over your life! Hope this encourages you, from a fellow Christian creator to another. 🤍✨😊

I have watched your videos since the single diaries. I love how real you are in your videos then and now! You feel like a friend and I appreciate just the true rawness. I don’t get that from many other influencers. You are a great encouragement to me!

You’re one of the creators I’m so excited to receive a notification for. Your videos are the most “real life” and authentic. Even this dilemma of not knowing what to post is so relatable. How many of us go through seasons where we just don’t know what to do and nothing seems exciting or something we want to pursue. Think about it, you just had a baby and shared a beautiful faith filled testimony on how you got pregnant, moved to Hawaii with all the different living situations, Kyle’s job changes, getting married and getting sweet handsome, plus that bit of living on the road. It’s been adventurous but not a production and I think a lot of us can relate because our lives as non KZreadrs are like that. I do miss you sharing your faith, but understand if now isn’t a good time or if it is too draining on your mental health. Those were how I found you in the first place and it’s helped support my faith in waiting. I love seeing God still moves. Vlogs are always fun to watch while I’m at the gym. Travel vlogs are really special but I also want you to feel like you can truly unplug….as I would be doing on vacation. The reality is, life changes and you’ve adapted to those changes very publicly. My hope is Jesus will give you some ideas for what your youtube channel could look like in this season. For a very long time I never commented on KZread videos but lately have felt inspired to as a response for getting so much insight into your life. I totally get it and have been having similar conversations with my husband. Honestly, this year I’m not into the whole striving, hustle, grind, etc. my main aim for my audience/online ministry is to foster more connection and really show up to serve. and in my personal life, leaning more into, the “softlife.” I believe God gives us the desires of our heart a.k.a. his desires if we are living a life pleasing to him… So it’s very possible that you’re feeling the way you’re feeling because he knows you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be right now and there’s no need to fight it. I absolutely LOVE your content and how genuine you are, sometimes the overly scripted and planned content from other creators isn’t as easy to relate to. New mom here! Personally I love that you are yourself! And I honestly can relate with my own personal career currently. I enjoy my job and couldn’t see myself doing anything else, but I look around and see so many people working so much harder than me. Makes me feel lazy? But then also, I’m a very “go with the flow” and a “Type B” person. I have been following and watching you for about 5 years now and love how honest and open you are about being a believer and work and family but also having healthy boundaries and talking through that. As a viewer and someone who has been praying for you family through your marriage and miscarriages and both of Legend, I would love to see what you are passionate about. Have the freedom to make content that fills you up not what breaks you down. Whether it’s a new hobby you have picked up or how you’ve been hearing from the Lord or an encouragement you have from others or planning a shower for friends. All I think we want to see is more of who YOU are because God has made you so intentional. okay personally i prefer the non aesthetic stuff.. it always seems so fake TO ME idk i like the real stuff where it can help me mentally prepare for motherhood. You dont need to do youtube as a career though. Have it as a hobby and have your career be motherhood. Its one of the most respectable, God honoring, beneficial for your family for generations, coolest job ever. Its a job that literally not everyone gets to be blessed with! Plus i find people who do videos when they feel like it / want to end up creating more quality down to earth content

THIS! I thought motherhood was going to be easy based on what I'd seen on KZread, but I just had my second baby and it is hard being sleep deprived and in survival mode in the fourth trimester. Hi! I work in the corporate world and a lot of the time it feels like I’m pushed into hustle culture. I can relate to your sentiments because I too have a 5 month old and I’m rethinking what success looks like. I started reading the book Dream Small by Seth Lewis. Definitely recommend! God has been reminding me that success is in the little things like showing up for my baby each day. All that to say, I can relate to what you said. I’ll be praying for you. ❤🥰

We like you for you! I enjoy the aesthetic videos too, but when I watch your channel, it’s to watch your style of video. I love the realness! It makes me feel like there are other people out there who aren’t trying to look like they’re perfectly put together; but they’re content and doing life (all kinds of random hobbies and whatever) and they’re really, messily human - like me. 😊 Hope you and your family have a blessed 2024!

My faves are the q&a’s, all things about marriage and the little projects you have going on around the house (what happened with your garden?). I would love to follow along on a devotional with you or reading the Bible and journaling. I like the sporadic content. It’s a fun little surprise when you pop up. And I also appreciate the realness. I am a hot mess dumpster fire most of the time and creators that appear to have it all together make me question my own validity. Hi friend! I had to stop my watch through to tell you I love your videos as is! The authenticity you bring is such a breath of fresh air!! Don’t let any lies or insecurities tell you otherwise. Comparison is such a trap! That being said if you want to stretch your legs and try something new, have at it!! I think that your enjoyment and interest in being a creator however you walk that out is what keeps people coming back for more.

I enjoy imperfect channels and videos. I enjoy sit down videos. I do wish to see more topic videos, because it is a bit confusing sometimes to pick a video to watch when there is no definitive topic 🕊 (peace bird which is dove with olive branch)

Hi Kian! I’ve watched you since i started following The Lord 2020. I’ve loved to see you move into marriage and now motherhood from the single diaries. I personally don’t expect or miss the sit down videos at all. It feels like you have outgrown that and i appreciate what you are creating. Ofc i recognize that with your visual eye you could aim a lot higher with the aesthetics of the videos and i bet it would make you more proud of what you are putting out there as a creative person. I love seeing your lifestyle in hawaii as someone who lives in a completely different environment and i’m grateful to be part of your journey as a reader of your video diary. Hi Kian, I’m a Christian artist and creative as well and I have grappled with the same questions you are asking! I’ve found that whatever comes out naturally is the best for our mental health. I’ve tried the hustle and grind of trying to grow in certain areas and all it does is stress me out and leave me in a position of comparison, but comparison is the thief of joy, remember that. As much of a gift that KZread has been in your life, I also think having Legend has changed your desires because he is now your focus and your greatest gift. Many people want more and more and more, and trust me, I get that. But to be content with where you are and with what you have is one of the greatest gifts in the world, cherish that within you ❤️ Let what you do come naturally not forced, and you will remain in a state of peace. Follow the joy and follow the peace, girl ❤️
