The transformation looked so good! You made it seem completely doable and not overwhelming at all.
I would leave the granite countertops bare! The backsplash is wonderful, but your white appliances look off next to the white contact sheets
i think it turned out great + the contact paper could be great for someone trying to decide what kind of countertops they may want a good non committal way to try out different styles!

Definitely caulk around the sink! Worked wonders for us and made it look even more real!

Looks wonderful!. You did a great job! In a rental we were in i came home one day to our back splash all cracked ( shattered look..but stayed stuck to the wall- didnt move) We put clear contact over the top which actually looked cool...which is just as well because the real estate didnt fix it for us while we were there- they fixed it when we moved out

No way! Can't believe they never fixed that 😅 without the contact paper holding it up it sounds like it could have been dangerous

Have you thought about getting a free standing center island in colors that you prefer as well. It looks like you have a lot of space that could get used.

That might be an option, but I'm afraid it would cut off the room. We're trying to figure out how to set up the dining area.
