Genuinely tearing up thinking about all the times i tried to do scale with crazy frame-by-frame animation or clever movements, the times I had to use giant scale hacked glows, using teleport portal bugs solely to adjust the camera slightly, etc. 2.2 is gonna be REVOLUTION!!!

I think the 50/100 key chests should guarantee an icon/decent reward, but the other ones still have good chances. Another thing is chest achievements. Basically you can get the icon guaranteed from the achievements or try your luck in a chest. I think that would be cool.

Like I started playing this game in 2.0, and I feel like everything I know about it could get turned upside down by doubling the features, making the levels feel completely different, and all kinds of stuff like that. I'm probably afraid of nothing, but I cant help but feel a little nervous about the implementation of all of this new stuff in a game we've cherished for so long as it is

I agree that it shouldn’t have taken this long, but pressuring him into rushing them is will make any work he does worthless if he listens, so why should we even be complaining? So much things happened since I first played this game in January of 2018. I made so many friends, lost a chunk of them, discover myself, grow wiser, gone through much good and much bad. This update really feels like closing that chapter of my life and starting a new one. I have seen so much historical moments and it feels like 2.1/2.11 represents such a huge chunk of my life. The end actually made me shed a tear. I’ve been playing this game for years and am so lucky to be part of the community. This community has developed and made so many memories over all of the years, whether it’s a race to beat a supposedly impossible extreme demon, a new advanced level breaking the fabric of what we once knew as a simple block game, a new update or a tragic loss, this community has kept the game alive for so many years and will probably continue to do so. It’s amazing how much people can make in this once simple block game, to now a advance platform with millions of playable levels made by people, and an entire GAME ENGINE as a level editor. This is honestly one of the best games ever made, not just because of all the cool and fun features, but because of the countless memories that we have made. I still remember when I first joined, when I beat stereo madness for the first time, I never knew how much I would want to re-experience that. We never cherish a Moment until it becomes a memory. Rest in peace Michigun, you will never be forgotten /\/\/\ ❤🕊️

I'm excited for the new update. Even if I only watch GD and make jokes about it I still appreciate it. It's a great intro to indie games.And I'm impressed by how far we have come. Thanks Colon , for making these silly videos and to every other Gd KZreadr too. Make new, play them too. Farewell 2.1!

20:06 This is possible. "Animate on Trigger" option allows activating particles with an Animate trigger. Tie a free group to a particle emitter and animate the group with an ID of 1.

19:20 I think that's some kind of dash orb. The old textures of the ones we already have looks exactly like this. My personal guess is that it'll be an orb that allows you to phase through anything since it's directly pointing to a small coin that seems out of reach. This will then activate an exit to the room.
