I met this guy Gabriel aka Laki who invited axle Rose to the Michael Monroe video shoot, Michael kept his distance from Axle at first knowing Axle was a fan, when i asked Gabriel how this all took place he said they where all at the scrapbar, Axle a guy named electric Dave and Rafael from the cycle sluts and Gabriel had a audition date with Michael Monroe who did not tel Pete the guitarists he was gonna be kicked out of the band, but the bass player JD already arranged to invite Michael to the video shoot of Dead Jail Rock and Roll, Gabriel insisted Axle and Tova stay in the scrap bar and instead go to the actual studio shoot of the video at SIR studios new york. I later ran into Gabriel again who was with Axel and Tova the model on their way back to the scrap bar but back at the time i only heard people took photos of them and everyone in the NY scene was there, Gabriel in the photos i saw later sitting with John Sierra's father and mom laughing their butts off, they had a great time from what i saw, days later Michael was at a store called "trash and Vaudville" i think its the name, he told someone he was shocked axel had crack teeth and they had to cut allot of this out of the video, all his teeth where rotten but yea he really loved Axel and axel has to be his biggest fan, gabriel told me axel said exactly this about Michael, beyond a biggest fan, that Axel opened up to him and went on and on how Hanoi Rox is all over GNR records, but gabriel then started hanging with Slash at the scrap bar and they spent all night talking about his guitars marshall and his mom dating Bowie and how bent out of shape he was about it. Boiler is one of my all time fav Hanoi songs... It's a ton of fun but if you listen deeper, it's a huge beast of a guitar song... From intro to the end, it really kicks ass...
