Edit: I'd also like to say what a fantastic 10 minutes this really was, you gents did a great job. I'd really love a Band of Brothers/The Pacific style series based on the British involvement of WW2. I respect our American allies for what they did but as a British citizen it'd be nice to see on film what my ancestors did for a change, from the start of the war in 1939 to its end in 1945, visualised in a way that it hasn't really be done before. I know there are films and shows but as far as I'm aware they're all quite old with the exception of a few from the top of my head such as Dunkirk, the imitiation game or 1917 which is of course set in WW1. If anyone has any suggestions please fire away 😊

That was a good wee movie that had a lot of emotion in it in such a short time.
Hate and tears flowing over each other. I hate war. This is as close to reality as I ever want to get. Well done.
Fantastic piece of film work Tom Hank’s and Steven Spielberg would have been very impressed with everything top notch stuff well done

Balls! Tom Hanks and Spielberg don't care about the other allies. It's just the yanks they're interested in. After all, America won the war on its own!
Wow, the acting is really good and I thoroughly enjoyed this little clip.
P.s. this is tier 1 movie making imo. Great job.
The film brings tears to my eyes.
This short film brings tears…
Well done guys - if you do that for 7 more weekends you've got a feature - And your acting is excellent. Also - your movement - approaching the house, moving round it, use of weapons etc is spot. And the uniforms look the biz.
This was a fantastic short
Only the bad circumstances make people to enemies, sad story, never again.
An absolutely incredible short film
Love this kind of content keep it up!
looks really professional. Well done.
Absolutely great short film
heart breaking the costs of war.
Thanks to all the actors and writers. First rate job.
If anyone has any suggestions please fire away 😊
that was awesome... really moving
Nice, This is really good!
This was good ,very upsetting and good acting ,thry really need to make a band of brothers brit regiment version
Always a pleasure to see Ben Squared Films delivering the goods !! Nice one here !!! By the way, I notice my status as a subscriber had lapsed - KZread does that shabby thing quite often.
Really well written and produced, a moving piece that portrayed so much in a very short film. Most of all the futility of it all....
Nice work lads!
Great piece of film making .
Strangers, acquaintances, close friends. "A stranger, a friend you haven't met yet" An enemy, an individual who made one so angry that they could kill them or as in that, they set about trying to kill them and become, the enemy.
Amazing movie, 10/10, was bit emotional towards the end.

It's a wonder the Germans did not hear them coming with all that kit rattling about .

Ironically, British kit was a lot quieter than German issue as most of it was canvas, whereas the Germans used leather webbing and metal buckles, plus a loud, clanky gas mask case. I wouldn’t have had my enamel cup knocking about though, better inside the pack.
the tingling of the cans and stuff lol
Nice to see us brits represented for once
It's hard to have enemies when the dehumisation has been eliminated
That was awesome! Well done! I am stationed in Ukraine at the moment. I wish there would be moments like that here, but this is unfortunately not possible! Great film!

War is hell..😢😢😢
Heart breaking.
Brought tears to my eyes. Almost everyone would have seen himself/ herself in that German officer's shoes. Why did they kill him? I wish this war wouldn't have happened.
Well done !
Even though this was just a WW2 short(story), I feel sad about thar Wehrmacht Soldier - suffered in Eastern Front in which the Western Allies don't know how much bitter/death fighting they have endured..but still a very good short move this is
Parabéns 😊 Otimo filme.
Well done.

dude that was heartbreaking. the poor guy. only thing that would have made it more powerful is if the tommy had put the photo in the conscripts outstretched hand, to be close to his wife one final time
He just want to have his wife's picture with him.

very good
There are some phantastic short films to be seen at youtube that make me forget about Hollywood bullshit. Maybe you should make contact with Para Light WorX, a German Film crew that produces films showing the German point of view - not only about WW II!

😮 Poignant 😢
Note: timing of MP arrival relative to distance stated from location was unrealistic. Missed opportunity to build the story and they would need extremely fast vehicles to get there that quickly
" all wars are civil war "
Interesting concept. The name of the film.
That happened on all sides that is the nasty business of war us men are men and we know the rules and risks of picking up rifled and becoming combatants
❤ I Like Video❤
Oh, so strong ...sadly .. no bad or good in war, but this is war, friends die, people dies. Good peoples, evil peoples all die. no diferent.
I HATE THESE FILMS WHERE THE GERMAN SOLDIERS ARE SEEN HANGING OUT WHILE AT A SLEEP OVER WHILE THE ENEMY SNEEKS UP ON THEM.

Why? Soldiers had to rest and sleep, situations like this must have happened many many times during the war.
