Wow. As a former WWII reenactor (and a Marine Corps veteran), I'm sad to say I developed a habit of nit-picking these WWII shorts. This one, however, was unbelievably well-done in every regard: the acting, the uniforms, and the script were all well above par. Frankly, the finest WWII short I've ever seen. Thank you.

I bet that Admiral Nimitz and the Central Pacific theater command would have absolutely loved you because they thought the same as you about invading the Phillipines. And the lives of many US Marines were wasted on the invasion and occupation of Peileilu to cover the backside of McArthur's Phillipine invasion. I look forward to reading and researching your recommendations. It will take me awhile to read those books and look at other sources as well. But I must compliment you on knowing your history and I will probably end up telling you that I stand corrected. Thank you for sharing what you know with me. Edit: I'd also like to say what a fantastic 10 minutes this really was, you gents did a great job. I'd really love a Band of Brothers/The Pacific style series based on the British involvement of WW2. I respect our American allies for what they did but as a British citizen it'd be nice to see on film what my ancestors did for a change, from the start of the war in 1939 to its end in 1945, visualised in a way that it hasn't really be done before. I know there are films and shows but as far as I'm aware they're all quite old with the exception of a few from the top of my head such as Dunkirk, the imitiation game or 1917 which is of course set in WW1. If anyone has any suggestions please fire away 😊
