the furniture is really nice...yeah I thought maybe a rug or two here and there. You could use linen tea towel piece and fray the edges. Also some greenery/flowers would look nice too - your friend will love it!!

Popsicle sticks make great floor boards for doll houses^^

adding plants will make it look more friendly and colorful :) I feel like there are only 2 main colors white and brown it made it look a little too plain but it's still looks really good.

I done the same thing i never have seen anyone else updo a foll house usually see people making their own i found one of the wooden old victorian ones for 15 bucks at thrift store n still working on it cause i work fulltime also but yeah i have been remodeling that. Happy to see someone else do one.

This is the second dollhouse makeover I've seen using simular colours and although the finished dollhouses looked great, it makes me wonder if it's been changed for the child or their mum. Would the child rather have the bright coloured dollhouse?

I have a question, I’m only learning bit by bit. I have 1/16 dolls house in fact I have i have about 3 but they have no front doors does any one know an easier way to put a door a on with a frame included

You made it look so modern and attractive. The original was really cute anyway but for a child, now it looks like an item to decorate your house with. Great job

I love how you did the furniture and the nursery, it looks so cool and I love it. I think it is also cool that you were going of of Joanna Gaines.

I've been wanting to do this for a while now. You've got me REALLY wanting to do it now lol! It turned out so good!

my grandmother makes them from scratch, it's awesome who see does it. cuts the wood, makes the bricks and all that. i always love to help her!

Not even kidding this dolls house looks better than my house in real life...

personally I'd add a plant or something for that pop of color and life. there are plastic buxus bolls where you can just pull 1 segment out of and stick it in a tiny pot and it would already look like a miniature plant. I do this all the time for stop motion videos and stuff where I need to make miniatures for. That said I really like the idea of dollhouse make overs.

Love this. Im picking up the exact same house seconed hand today. You have given me some great ideas for an upcycle for my daughters birthday pressie. I have Barbie furniture from another seller, so just need to paint and do the flooring. So excited now. Love upcycles and saving money.

This house is such an excellent neutral base to add to in the future... Any kind of rugs or art or add ins could fit... It looks so clean and fancy I would have loved to have this as a kid

I had this exact doll house! My sister and I paid $25 each for it because we really wanted it. It got thrown out last year because it was worse for wear and falling apart. But this is the exact kind of thing we had in mind for our dollhouse! We just never got around to it, probably due to being kids.

It came out beautiful!

for the bathroom you can score the floor tile so it looks like it is many tiles and not just one

A hand held hair drier is great to remove labels and should work for stickers as long as you get the glue residue with it.

Looks nice. Could use some more soft furnishings like rugs, curtains and a shower curtain. Maybe some towels in the bathroom. And A few plants would definitely make it pop.

I like how you re-decorated the dollhouse. It needs some little books, a sink in the kitchen (dolls need clean dishes), and your idea for little rugs would have made it look more homier.
