Hey man, asking one quick question, since I have an MS 210 and it doesn't really seem to start despite the endless cranking, do you mind giving me some help on how to get it fixed?

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I would start by making sure you have enough compression and the piston isn’t scored. If you don’t have a compression tester, try holding the saw up by the starter rope, it should hold its own weight. You can also inspect the piston by removing the muffler and slowly pulling the rope until the piston is visible through the exhaust port. The piston should be smooth, if it has lots of vertical scratches, then you probably won’t have enough compression for it to run. If the compression is good and the piston looks good, then the problem is most likely in the fuel system. Fuel line may need replacing and probably a carburetor rebuild. I don’t currently have a carb rebuild video for that particular saw, but the procedure is very similar for most chainsaws, there are plenty of videos on KZread that will walk you through that process
