Love ABBA. When Agnetha and Frida blend their voices it's called their third voice, Sad love songs are Agnethas favorite genre..... She still nails them everytime.

This was released in December 1981 from the band's eighth studio album " The Visitors " also released in 1981. It wouldn't be until 2021 that Abba would release their next studio album " Voyage " talk about the wait Lol . Great upload Mia! Yes the only thing bad about the song is it ends!😅

Being from Sweden, born in 1968 - listening to them now I am amazed by the lyrics in a lot of songs!! They are smart and the words are cleverly put together! For instance in this song, never reflected on the word "lying" having two meanings... They are just the best pop-band ever, or at least one of the greatest!😍Thanks Mia! More, please? 🙂

Everytime I listen to this song I discover something new. The bassline!

Most people think they are some disco group and just know a few songs. Besides their 23+ unique worldhits there is a rabbithole of unique versatile album tracks that are great too. They did every style of music but allways completely recocnizable theirs

They actually did a reggae song! It's called Tropical Loveland. I think it's so good. ABBA could sing any genre any type of music. So versatile

hello, so nice to see you return with another ABBA song there is much to say about "One of us" (1981) 1) It is a beautiful song, it has a soft melody and melancholic lyrics that allow Agnetha to shine with a very sweet voice, and a catchy and harmonic chorus 2) was ABBA's last big hit, #1 in several European countries and #3 in the UK (last single Top 10 of their 18 consecutives between 1975/1982) 3) recorded at the end of 1981, the two couples were already separated (Agnetha & Björn almost 3 years ago, Benny & Frida a few months ago) 4) the official video is very good, it shows Agnetha (with a more mature beauty) acting sober and convincing rebuilding a love life from a move 5) In my opinion it is together with "Slipping through my fingers" and "The Visitors (crackin'up) the best song from the album "The Visitors" , where the melancholy and rawness of their lyrics is most pronounced in the context of a complex album of musical exploration away from ABBA's signature pop, and an image of the four singles over the two couples some fans said, with ABBA comeback in 2021, that the new song "Don't shut me down" is a sequence of "One of us" after 40 years "Don't shut me down" (2021) is a fantastic song, a new ABBA masterpiece, and last Top10 in UK to ABBA an other countries, included #1 in Sweden and Switzerland My greetings to you and the Lady from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 South América

This should have been a number 1 in the UK but was kept off the top by the Human League and Cliff Richard.

Now you know what it was like when they were were in their time,, we all were inlove with them

I haven't heard this song before. It's different for Abba but I like it.

The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be in my opinion. If find 4 people as talented as them today, good luck getting them into a band, I feel like it's all about solo careers nowadays. Another really good breakup song of theirs is When All Is Said And Done, I think you'd like it.

They have sold over 200 million albums world wide. They were so good In Europe we have " The Eurovision Songfestival". ABBA has won in 1974 with the song Waterloo.

ABBA is the best. These guys have produced a lot of music. They have sold over 200 million albums world wide. I still love listening to their music.

Someone said ABBA consists of three voices: Frida, Agnetha, and thirdly the two of them together - their blend is the third voice. And I think there’s some truth to that. They do blend in magic way, and that sound is something neither of them could ever produce alone, as great as they are. That said, I have the utmost respect for both of them, together or on their own. To have two vocalists of that caliber in one band, it’s not normal.

This was the last Abba record in 1981 before the group went their separate ways by 1983... Bjorn and Agnetha had divorced and Benny had left Anni-Frid, so the music video reflects the members in separate shots and the concept was Agnetha moving on from a split. Abba had not toured since 1979 and even though they made 2 more albums, the divorces made collaborating more difficult... Bjorn recalled that there was a sadness in the group's later songs, but felt that they were some of their best songs... Unfortunately, their last album 'The Visitors' did not sell up to expectations and Abba soon faded from view.

Great song great reaction. Not sure how much you know about them. They were 2 married couples. This was probably their last hit. It's a very sad song. Frida the red head had just gotten divorced from Benny the pianist (he had gotten another woman pregnant and left Frida for her) she got so depressed she cut off all her beautiful long red hair. Thats why it's like that here. Yes Agnetha and Frida harmonize like no other. Both girls could really sing and took turns as lead but together it is often called ABBAs third voice. They are fantastic live. Try "If It Wasn't For The Nights) the live version from Japan is great. Their outfits are stunning. Frida looks like a red headed wonder woman lol. Also try their live version of "Money Money Money" also live from Japan and "SOS" From A American Bandstand 1975
