My First Solo Shear Job, And 4 Years Worth Of Wool Sheep
A milestone in my sheep shearing career, doing my own shear job. I started this sheep shearing journey not knowing where it would bring me. Little did I know that America Shearers are in high demand and hard to find. This family have been looking for a Shearer for a long time, and found me. Who knew my first job would be one of the most difficult sheep I have ever shorn up to this point in my career. But, it was a great experience and a fun time!

Its gonna get easier, just never lose your compassion for these beautiful wooly creatures. They NEED you to make their lives manageable. You are providing a very good and kind service to these little sheepies. You did a great job on those wooly mammoths! Congrats!
I have been there and done that - the pattern gets chucked out the window and every step is a modification. Most people don't realize that the weight of that wool as it hangs downward raises the skin which will be cut if you don't go slow and deliberate. You did a great job getting through it with a minimum of cuts.

The sheep on my property have three years of wool and im doing this as well its a pain becuase a small sheep turns into a huge sheep it's exuasting
Holy cow, that sheep is MASSIVE!!! Great job handling that monster!
Every muscle tensed up I have, from braving watching you struggle with those monster sheep, I felt your sweat and hard work, you did brilliantly all you see were the sheep’s eyes, poor mites, your their hero for certain!!!!
Oh my aching back! That second one was huge!
Even with your obvious strength that’s almost a two person job. Kudos! Those sheep should really appreciate your attention. Thanks for the video!
You are very good I’ve watched a lot of sheepshearers and you’re just as good as any of them!! congratulations you did a great job!!!

А нельзя овцу на бок положить и стричь, зачем с ней бороться 🤔?
Wow! You did a fantastic job. Those big wooley sheep were especially challenging and I didn't see any nicks. Prepare yourself....you will get lots of work in the future. Good luck!
It seems you are owed several new set of blades my friend! And a few of the sheep need better caregivers! Well done you for cleaning up a disaster.
Сколько шерсти! Очень качественной шерсти! Какая красота из неё будет создана! Тёплые пледы, ковры... Пряжа для ручного и машинного вязания! Прямо душа радуется! 👍
You do a beautiful job! I love sheep so much, reminds me of our sheep when i was a kid. I loved lambing, bottle feeders, & shearing day! ❤
Gotta feel sympathy for the sheep. Being manhandled and shorn after so long must've been strange. Poor girls, thank god all that wool got taken off and they were finally out of pain.
Wow I don't think I ever seen a sheep with so much wool. Bet them sheep feel much better
Wow you earned your stripes on that shearing they had a lot of wool on them. Great job
Thank you for helping the sheep out.. OMG
You did an amazing job on very difficult sheep. I worried for the sheep carrying such an amazing amount of wool, and for you shearing those sheep. Great job. You will be in high demand .

You did great job! 👍 👍 The first 3 jobs by yourself going solo is always the hardest, but as you do more and critique your techniques then things will become a breeze and job will get done faster. An excellent first attempt all by yourself! You should be proud of your hardwork!👏👏👏👏👏

Good job 👍 🌹
That's a huge Suffolk ewe I've shorn Rams the same size, top effort mate living the dream
Wonderful job. I hope people see this before they buy sheep. It is abuse to let them suffer with years of wool.
Very beautiful
That was hard work!!!
You do a good job at shearing sheep.
Good job man 👍👍👍

Awesome
I watched shearers in Scotland shear some sheep. They were using scissors and cut just below the fleece, not next to the skin.
This is such a fascinating thing to watch! I cant believe they stay relatively calm like that. And wow that big pile! How many years is is best to let it grow between shearings? I LOVE all the fun S words so well spoken! :) so glad you shared! I bet those ewes feel like new women! Hehe have an amazing winter!!

Depending on the type of sheep and wool you can shear them every 6 months if you can get the length quick enough!
Heppy you 🐑🇧🇷
Good job 😋
If you work on making each blow as long as possible, you will shear faster, even if you are moving slower
Im doing this with my sheep they have three years of wool I feel your pain especially on the neck you can't get your left leg around
What good girls the 🐑 🐑 🐑 are
Ellinize kolunuza saglik teşekkür ederiz yaptiginiz güzelliklerden😘
Good job! I was wondering why that tall kid wasn't shearing. He look bigger than I was when I first started shearing.
Nice job, no nicks and cuts on the sheep.

For a minute I thought you were from Right Choice Sheering!
Those big, black woolie things could have used a trim round the front end. Bet they don't relax into it like sheep though. Very impressive job for a new shearer. You made some life long friends today
Your amazing
Omg...if it was me...I'll have to take cold shower every sheep...thats frigging exhausting 😴😩😫 ur awesome 👌😎👏

This made me think that the job I have right now is so much easier to do😅.
kinda wish some of the people ambling around in the background would help you support them a little! Obviously not the little kids but I feel like it'd be a lot easier to reduce the amount of nicks ect with just even 1 extra hand to hold the skin ect. Note:: I know not nicking extremely neglected sheep at all is nearly impossible, and considering he was working alone he did a FANTASTIC job, but still!
Good job bro
Esse procedimento é TOP. Gostei de assistir este vídeo. Show.
Those big ones maybe you should shear them like you would a llama? They seemed calm enough to just stand.
