Man. That is awesome! After watching your Super Recycler video I ordered one too. Just sold my Timemaster yesterday as I couldn’t justify keeping it with my small yard. I love it! I currently have STIHL trimmer and blower and thinking of making this switch. Thanks for this video.

Solid review! Questions; what's the max thickness of cut on the hedger? What's the max thickness of string on the trimmer? I like .095, it works better than thinner lines that many electrics are limited to...

About the string trimmer attachment does the head take spools or wind up the line to reload line?

Call me a conspiracy theorist but id put a thousand down that the same OEM makes Ryobi's 40v brushless attachment-ready system too. I have the Ryobi one with the string trimmer and then I have the stick edger attachment too. They are eerily similar. From the actual attachment system with the tightening knob and the little notches to the handle mounting to the little black cap on top of the edger so that you can hang it when not in use. I'm sure the OEM make better plastic for one or sources different metals for another etc etc but these are the same OEM! Another example of this is Whirlpool and Kitchenaid Fridges, they are the same, but kitchenaid gets a fancy color and a nicer handle etc but the guts are the same.

For the speed adjustment, are there different set speeds that kick in as you pull the trigger, or is it the more you pull it, the more it speeds up? Not sure if that makes sense, but on the dewalt trimmer, there’s 6 different preset speeds that it cycles through as you pull. The stihl trimmer is like a gas one, where as you pull the trigger more, it just speeds up.

You neglected one very big piece of information...does the powerhead accept the universal "Ex-pand-it" and similar attachments? It looks like it might but a confirmation would be nice. I know Toro would probably prefer that you don't mention this as they want to sell attachments but for all of us that already have a bunch of attachments, I would be willing to buy the powerhead but I'm not replacing all of my perfectly good attachments.

I asked WorkshopAddict the same question and here is his reply: "Toro says it is proprietary, but I was able to get my universal string trimmer to attach. I need to do more testing to make sure it works and does not damage anything. So far, looks universal."

As an older person I need something I can start without hurting my back. I own a TORO gas trimmer with numerous attachments but I want to get the battery power head. I've called Toro and other power equipment service places and nobody's giving me an answer! WILL THE EXPAND IT ATTACHMENTS FIT THE 60 VOLT BATTERY POWER HEAD? Simple question nobody will answer. Gonna be done with TORO real soon.

No, this Power System 60-Volt Max Attachment Capable Power Head Works with the full line of Toro 60V Max Flex-Force system, including batteries. Hope this helps, thanks! (answered by Toro)

Jimmy, using the 2.5ah battery with these attachments, about how many hours/minutes did you get per battery? Also, since the super recycler comes with a 7.5ah battery, how does that feel with this power head and attachments? I’m about to buy my 1st home and invest in the Toro 60v series, wanting to know my options and needs (# & size of batteries/chargers)

Gotta couple of questions ... #1, what was the run time with the attachment capable trimmer vrs the std single tool? And #2, how much does the attachable trimmer weigh vrs the std single tool? Good video. One other thing ... that's the same connector that the Ryobi uses, I got over 20 Ryobi trimmer plus attachments that can work with that.

Nice review Jimmy! 👍 I’m happy I was patient enough to wait for mine. I love it. I’m also happy to report that for those of us who like to run the Speed Feed heads, they are an easy installation using the silver adaptor. The included head works well with .080 line, but I couldn’t get it to wind my preferred line, and I don’t want to switch. Cheers!

Following your presentation we have made enquiries to buy the Head unit with string trimmer and hedge trimmer but homedepot is selling the items separately. We are having separate quotes for head unit, battery, string trimmer and hedge trimmer. This is unfair. You review that the Head unit comes with battery and string trimmer. Why are they not selling it like that so we can buy the hedge trimmer as an attachment. Please indicate where we can purchase it in that way
