Absolutely Amazing Nostalgic Bachpan yaad dila di aapne 🙏

Very nice spiritual train journey. I had travelled in this train in 2001 and fare was Rs 10. From Vrindavan station all important Temples are nearby and can be visited on foot or by rickshaw.

मुझे तो 48 साल की आयु में पहली बार पता चला कि मथुरा से वृन्दावन रेल बस भी चलती है, इस बार बांके बिहारी जी के दर्शनों के लिए जब भी जाऊँगा इस बस में सफ़र अवश्य करूँगा लेकिन यदि आप यह भी बता देते हैं कि यह रेल बस एक दिन में कितने चक्कर लगाती है और और समयसारणी क्या रहती है तो सबके लिए आसान हो जाता 👍🏻 फिर भी बहुत अच्छी जानकारी दी आपने 💖💖

I had travelled in rail bus from Brindaban to Mathura on 9th Dec 2003 once. Then from Deoghar to Jasidih in Jharkhand sometimes during 2005. Whenever one level crossing was coming, the driver was getting down, was closing the level crossing, then was passing the railbus, then was opening the level crossing, then the railbus was moving.

30 yrs back, I had travelled by a Rail Bus of Ashok Leyland between Gonda & Kaptanganj - on my way to Ayodhya/ Faizabad. Wonder, if the facility still exists. It was pleasant.

Railbus'es are underrated. They can serve under-served and un-served regions of the country with low op-ex. Hope our coach factories develop an electric version for broad gauge with underslung electrics and a toilet. In Sri Lanka Lanka Leyland buses are repurposed as railbus'es. Our coach factories can do far better than that and export it too !
