Greetings Iveoma Thank You for this video. This News is so Concerning to Hear and makes one Question the Intentions and Validity of the African farming community or a particular company one is investing in. If these companies are receiving Global Monetary Investments what & how are the funds being optimized or utilized, is the usage of funds being discussed at the meetings? Are Greenhills Farming and Thrive Agric In Iseyin Ibadan in Oyo State a reputable investment? I plan on moving and retiring in Afica and need to be certain to know which would be most legitimate and profitable? Nigeria was in my Top 5 places to invest, but if their investment opportunities are sketchy I'm uncertain. ☮️ 💡& 💚

I think it’s off putting that news heard about one company in agritech means that everything is not legitimate in the entire country. Eek. Is that your same logic you apply to American companies or just Nigerian/African companies? Agritech is Nigeria has nothing to do with Agritech in Kenya btw. Africa has 54 separate markets lol Plus with Greenhills you OWN the land. Agropartnerships you invest in a harvest for 7-9 months. Well honestly, investing in Nigeria isn’t for everyone. But I do want to make clear that Investments in EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY in the ENTIRE WORLD are not guaranteed. You invest in the USA, right? Has every investment made you money? Have you lost money in some investments? It’s normal to lose some and win some, abi? So apply that same rationale to Nigeria.

@@IveomaMedia You're correct in stating that other African market exist outside Nigeria. But you're not accurate to suggest that the individual concerns about investing in Nigerian market should not tar everything with same brush when almost certain that 95% of Agri investment will fail in Nigeria. Therefore it's wise to see Nigerian market as dishonest.

No, Agritech is not the same as other fields in agriculture. Owning a land in Nigeria and selling your tomatoes to consumers is not the same as investing in a harvest for a tech company! Food processing is not the same as agritech! 😱 So to paint everything with the same brush is...

@@MrJoennachi Do you have a failed Agricultural investment in Nigeria? Please make a video on that and let's learn from you. We are waiting
Iveoma that's so sad to hear. I remember when we were talking about how quickly the units get snatched up in this company. One would think they have more than enough investors to keep the company afloat. Maybe they don't have enough land to actually send the money to work? The agro industry is far from being saturated in Nigeria so there's definitely something sinister going on. I hope they pay you soon. Next stop is to enter the farm ourselves o because maybe the traditional way is better than the tech way. 🤷♀️

FLO!!! Honestly I think they had issues with the cashew factory they opened up and it took a lot more money then it was supposed to. And yup units used to get snatched up so quickly. LOL @ traditional way. Honestly we may have too.
Awesome video. It's great that you share this part of the journey. Let me smash that like button now. Cheers.

It's just the glow for me....total transformation gurl😍.....Meanwhile I just have to commend your effort so far...keep it up and once again good luck 🙏
Great Video and very concerning but also informative. We need transparency in Nigeria. We need not only be harboring an investor mindset but seeking industrial enterprises that are better managed financially and politically.

Yup @ transparency! So important!!
**Apologies for the sound for the first 52 secs, it was sound straight from my computer versus my mic** BTW Who is interested in starting an investment club?? I am so intrigued by the idea oooo
Agropartnership held online meeting with investors on the 19th February 2022. They came up with the following resolutions: 1.Halt further payouts to investors for the next 5months 2 To commence payment of interest from July 2022 3. Payment of interest on investment shall be made in 3tranches. July, October and February 2023 based on staggered rate. 4 Invested capital to be returned in February 2023. We hope that they would honourably stick to these arrangements
It was so super amazing and great :) absolutely wonderful stuff :)

Hi Iveoma, It's always nice to see your updates. I was wondering if you have any idea how the stock market works on the continent. Can Nigerians in diaspora invest directly or does everyone have to go through a stock brokerage firm? Can you make a video about the Nigerian Stock market? Remain blessed!
Thank you for sharing. I would love to attend some of those investment clubs. Do let me know when the next event is running.

Hail up my daughter Iveoma, you have the perfect platform to exert pressure on these people. This has really tarnished Nigeria’s reputation. I heard they took on infrastructure investments that have prevented them from paying 💰 out. Are you aware of this or can you confirm.

Hmm how can one crowdfunding platform tarnish a country of 200 million + people and endless opportunities. Investments in general aren’t guaranteed ANYWHERE in the world…
Big Fan Iveoma; do you have any groups for returnee back in Nigeria I could join. Sort of a community with like minds recently back in the country. Thanks

Thank you Adebayo. Honestly nope. I closed down my FB Group and don’t really know anyone else focused on people who just came into town. There is a group called The Returnees, dm them on IG. Internations is also a good bet.
I actually wrote out a whole reply and it did not post! Well in answer to you question I feel bad to say this as a Nigerian, but I am invested in the US stock market via my 401k/ Vanguard and I have done very well .My investment in Nigeria has been more of giving money to family members to start up their own businesses and it was always money I could afford to loose . In a few of these cases the business ideas were so good that I had planned to invest much more money with the family member and really scale up the business ,But there was always some funny story why the business did not work out so I never did. I do want to invest /start a business in Nigeria .I think it is imperative as a Nigerian to help build up my country . I am looking at different options that's why I am on KZread to see what people are doing .
Could there be an issue specific to the sweet potato somewhere in its supply chain? Just speculating, maybe the pricing was agreed to but say the off-taker discovers issue with inspection of a certain amount not meeting its criteria - causing a temporary hold. I definitely think more transparency would go a long way to calm nerves.

Transparency would be everything right now!
Can anyone please share information on any of these investment clubs? Thanks
Iveoma, That contract would have to be tight clad..

Ahh contract between investment club and Agropartnerships? I would think so, standard practice when real money is involved.
My first investment with agropartnerships still waiting for my payment, very very disappointed . I was so excited to start investing

All investments come with risk ooo but I do understand what you mean. Well the year just started so don’t feel too down!
Has Agropartnerships finally paid you in 2023? Surprised you didn't make a follow up video, which could mean you were finally paid
It sounds like agro partnerships is in over their heads. It's very concerning. That's a red flag for me.

I did a search on eventbrite and Google about investment. I found 2 clubs and attended the meetings. I was just curious. But yeah I can do a video about it
Hi Iveoma do you have any idea if agropartnership will ever come back in business I have tried emailing them and to contact them of phone nothing was working

I can write an update. Nothing next, they have been sued by everyone big, lawsuits started rolling out last year. And how they have gone silent, highly doubt anyone is getting money back. Terrible communication from company.
What is the latest on Agropartnership. Is there any hope of them paying us back our investments?

Was this the green hill farm you spoke about in your video some time ago?
@IveomaMedia

Nope. This agritech company is called Agropartnerships. You invest in a harvest and get a return back. You don’t own anything. Greenhills (is called Greenhills) and you own the land forever. It’s a completely different company with a different name.
Hi Ms Iveoma. What investment clubs and Investment training will you recommend in Nigeria??

Really?
i think it's a scam, just my opinion.
Sounds like a pyramid scheme
Actually I stumbled into your KZread platform talking about Agropartnership investment... I am one of the deluded customer who invested about 2k Euro since 2019. I have not received either both the investment money or the residual proceed. I have called them out on social media, notify EFFCC yet no reply. Do you have any new update so far?
