My First Impressions of the 2023 Pure Skybolt; A Bat Review
Спорт
Taking my first swings with the 2023 Pure Skybolt!
A 26 oz, two-piece bat with a full one ounce end load, approved for USA/ASA slow pitch softball. It has 13" X-22 Composite Barrel with an internal PAD (Power Amplification Device).
Fences are 8' tall and 300' all the way around. I'm using a mix of Evil BP 52 Balls and Tattoo NX3 52 Spinners. You can learn more about those two balls here:

Once the ball crosses the fence who cares about a little more distance. A home run is a home run lol. Good review. I have a sidewinder that has made me put down my monstas

I agree with this completely! But I can admit that a softball traveling 350'+ sure looks cool!

@@DLeagueBP so true. Big hits big bombs look good. Has your thoughts on the sidewinder changed with more hits on it and between the sky bolt and sidewinder what one would you prefer to swing.

@@WayneSimmons695 Yes and no. I compared the Sidewinder to the Blacksheep and I still think the results there hold true. You are going to get a bit more distance out of the Monsta on very well struck balls. But, the sidewinder is a bit more forgiving and both Gavin and I have been gaming it over my Monstas. So, in that respect, yes my opinion has changed. Between the 2 Pures, I will be swinging the Skybolt. I have been most consistent with bats that have these specs (13" barrel, 1 oz endload). It lets me play the entire field and drive the fence with confidence. Exactly what I should be doing in my low level rec league

@@DLeagueBP that’s the way I feel with the sidewinder over my monstas. I feel I can go to either side of the feild easier with it over my torch. I feel I’m getting better exit speed with it also. Defiantly need to get me a hellfire and a sky bolt now. Thanks for the replies and great content

I feel this in my soul! We just replaced our HVAC system and I told the wife that I wouldn't buy any new bats. (I ordered this one before we decided to replace the AC). I am about to attack the B/S/T groups like it's a swap meet! Gotta get some new sticks!
Where can I find that pitching machine?

Do they have senior league play softball bats?

I have heard that they are working on a senior bat. But I'm not affiliated with Pure, so I have no idea of a timeline

Yes Pure has senior league stuff if you ask me Pure is the best in the business when it comes to utrip and now it looks like they are going to take over ASA/USA
More end loaded, Skybolt or Natty Daddy?? Thank you
@DLeagueBP

Hard for me to honestly say. I haven't swung both during the same BP session, and the Natty Daddy is an oz heavier. All I can definitely say is that while my Sidewinder is heavier overall, it definitely has a lighter endload than than the skybolt. Pure seems to be doing a great job with bat weighting imo

@@DLeagueBP I forgot your Anarchy was a 27, sorry. I’m intrigued by the Pure’s, but with the temp restrictions I am hesitant. We don’t see a 60° average temp until mid June here in Northern MN. I game older Flippers and anarchy xcore

@@gponting2 those are both great choices. I still love my old Flipper! Unfortunately for you, it sounds like the Pure would probably be a part time bat, but it would definitely be a great one
