@@miniguylad2827 Y'know i am excited for that but just don't min-ilvl it, and do it with echo preferably. Those are real raids y'all, especially SCOB (Nael don't fuck around). Maybe I have the wrong impression of Hey Jay but I doubt he wants to get stuck raid progging near savage level raiding. Granted, I guess it won't be too bad if the 7 people know what they're doing and can teach Jay to do it as well, might even be a fun a experience.

Heavensward actually used to be our first ever taste of flying, back before Shadowbringers 5.3, ARR zones had no flying available in them so you always had to run around everywhere. So those Aether Currents were 14's way of just going "Alrighty, you can earn flying now in these huge new zones."

Ravana was the exact moment that really made me go "I need to keep playing this game to see more bosses like this." Well the game didn't disappoint on the bosses or the story side. Hope you keep enjoying your HW journey!

Ravana is the boss that lets you know we’re not fighting giant health bars They will move and mess you up Stormblood is the moment where even the damn enviornment wants to kill you

I'm glad to see you're enjoying Heavensward! Ysayle is a fan favorite and Estinien's dynamic with her is absolutely part of that. The changes they made to Sohm Al are the most emphasized of this: if you play with the NPCs, you keep seeing Ysayle try to sway the dragons to not fight, becoming more distraught as they all choose violence against her and our group. Very excited for the firewood arc

You might not like the dragoon class to begin with, so don't feel stressed about playing a class you currently enjoy

Take your time and focus on what brings you joy

For some Realm Reborn is enough to hook them, for many of us though its Heavensward that finally makes the game click for us and we then "get it". That was the case for myself, Ysayle becoming my first and favorite waifu in the game lol and just the entire high fantasy story and setting of Heavensward was my cup of tea.

Man, I really hope you continue past HW and into StB and ESPECIALLY Shadowbringers. Stormblood is the worst expac for casual stuff (it's my favorite overall expansion, not for least for being my first and having my favorite raids) but it's 100000000% worth to push through and get to Shadowbringers. But I'm getting ahead of myself, Heavensward is still amazing!

Jay may continue off-stream he has actually played a small portion of the game (sidequests, fishing, etc.) on his own If the game really gets the hooks in deep he might REALLY wanna play, just not sure if he would be streaming it

If you've never listen to Operah, I can see the opening of song of Heavenward being a grate. It just means you lack refinement my dude. Also your pledge sucks, however everyone will be busy with Dawn Trail so probably a good time to start MH around then. You're going to need 5 classes leveled up in each discipline before you hit Shadowbringers.

Your pledge sucks! Playing games on a deadline is so stressful! But it's your game and your channel. So I hope you enjoy Heavensward and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. 'Sides, if everyone played through HW as a dragoon, the duty finder would probably never pop lol. Me, I'm taking my sweet time. It took me like four months to get to Heavensward because I was doing tons of side content.

i had the EXACT same reaction when they said she wasnt dead. it was an amazing thing to end ARR with and they just....threw it away. now granted im not done 3.0 HW yet so things could change, but up front? screw that decision. so stupid to backpedal

His plan was to take a small break from mh to do this game that a few people have been asking him to try, but he will be back in on mh genult July. Actually unless he changed it, he has a "pledge" where if he doesn't finish this expansion before the end of June, we the community can choose his weapon in low rank.

Ff14 is his vacation from MH. We're back in for MHGU in July. I'd imagine it will be a mix of FF14 and MH content going forward. At least I hope anyway 🤣
