As a guy who plays both poker and chess religiously, I can say poker is significantly more luck based than chess.

They aren’t comparable at all chess has 0 elements of luck won person wins only because they played better this is not always the case in poker

Whenever I get HU coolered like that, I remember all of the hands previously where I got lucky. Take the 77 hand for example.

Yeah, I was watching it live towards the end. It was so exciting that I shared with my bf who was at the airport. He was watching the stream too. You almost had Hokage crushed but got coolered twice that got you beat. Nonetheless, 2nd place pretty darn good! Good job! I remembered thinking there were a couple of questionable calls heads up.

The worst mistake was cold 4bet jamming 77 lol. That was one of the bigger final table punts I've seen. But he's new, poker is a complex game.
