@@WorkshopAddict ProBarrow is a commercial grade electrically powered material handling devise with multiple attachments available. They are a Canadian company.

Hopefully the customer service folks find jobs at a company with equipment that works. Re-branding Chinese-engineered goods is a tool trend that needs to stop.

I have the snapper version of this. It's not so much a wheelbarrow but a dump cart. It works great for mulch, but since it has two wheels in front and one in the back It's very unstable on hills if you aren't going straight up and down. I do like that the battery on the snapper is removable/ replaceable.

I’ve been thinking about getting one for a while now, and appreciate your commentary. A power wheel barrow is something Milwaukee should consider.

I have a 4 wheel yard cart that I use and love! It even unlatches for dumping, Its strong and easy to pull with quality pneumatic tires and no need to pick up the handles and/or balancing a one wheel wheelbarrow.

maybe you should try out the makita one and see if it is any good!

Man....I have 2 of these for my farm/garden and havn't had any of these problems other than the shipping company gouged my box and bent my frame like yours. Never had any issue.....I decided to go with solid tires v/s pneumatic tires. Mine pulls like a champ up hill and in reverse...seems my reverse is set up so it doesn't run over ya

I have one of these wheelbarrows for 5 years made by the predecessor to Chore Warrior. I have it for personal use only. I have worn out one set of wheels and one set of batteries. I had to get the wheels from Chore Warrior but the batteries are generic and readily available on line. I haul logs, dirt, rock, branches, other heavy equipment, etc all over the property. The digital controls for the motor are either on or off. As the battery weakens, or discharges, the motor seems to flop between on and off. The motor goes off, then the battery recovers a little bit and the motor comes back on. I am glad I have one.

Well now you gotta buy the Makita and see if it is any good haha. Thanks for the honest review!

i love mine i used to push heavy barrows of sod for the last 20 years in my Jackson where i could only put 5 now i am doing 8-9 at a time and so easy to lift and i just press the button and go but i am now 42 im probably just easily impressed but the best tool i have bought in a few years maybe ever !also that guys lawn is yellow and he spilling mulch all over the border rocks he might be drunk water the lawn pal

They also make an airless tyre which I have in mine! Which would solve the tyre problems.

I have the Makita, bought it on a clearance deal for like $600, even though I didn’t desperately need one. I reasoning was that it was cheaper than a chiro in the long run (back issues) It runs off 1 x pocket size 18v batterie that I use in my other tools.. and can take 2 batteries … giving 2 hours of constant use. It has a tipper function for offload - and I’ve welded up a custom frame to take big plastic tubs for soil/mulch. It also has spotlights lights and brakes. Wish it had a speaker system for yard work - that would be cool. It’s ideal of straight level lawn or paving. Heavily loaded, on a bumpy ramp, things get wild. I’ve read it can move 300lb up a 15 degree ramp with no problem. The new 4 wheeled units that have been released can move 650lb

So..moral of the story. You get what you pay for.

Thanks for your brutally honest review. They look good from far but far from good. I'm really surprised these are actually in market considering how they function. Hopefully they do better next model, but yeah you've certainly done a solid community service. Cheers Brian 🇦🇺

Batteries are probably fine. Mine came with loose connections. Soldered them and fixed that issue. Strong after that. Then on off switch rusted out in five months. As mentioned, it doesn't dump easy like a wheelbarrow should. I modified my frame by cutting the front short. Better but still not as good as my Jackson. Overall not worth it. It's a homeowner power cart at best.

To be fair you can swap the batteries on the chore warrior but that battery isn't going to work on anything else the way makita will.

The wheelbarrow seems pretty good to me on the one with the "handle" issue just bend one of the handles to counter the defect, you may need to use heat for a proper bend..

It seems like a lot of these have dud batteries. That's why they perform even worse than expected.

I would have found some old sheets of plywood and thrown them down on the lawn and just used the dingo. I get that plywood isn’t cheap nowadays. But I’m sure you could go to the store, find boards in the worst shape possible and ask for a discount. Then you have wood for say a camp fire later on.

Even for doing work at home this doesn't seem worth it. If you're older or have medical issues and this acts up you're stuck with a wheelbarrow in the middle of your yard until someone can come help.

Sounds like you had a frustrating experience with it and I'll take your word for it.... That slower speed has to be a safety feature... unfortunately you'd probably run themselves over with it and get hurt and sue...

I think if you compared this WheelBorrow against a Makito battery Unit Makita might be the best option dearer yes but quality light years ahead.Here is the perfect example of you get what you pay for this pathetic unit has a fixed battery meaning when it's flat you have to recharge compared to Makita when the battery is flat you just put in another battery and continue working.

I'll wait until craftsman comes out with one. Will be cheaper and more reliable. $600 is to much for a wheel barrow that has issues

Wheel barrow, electric motor, Dewalt power stack or Milwaukee power bank. That's at the extreme end, but still a cheaper DIY.

I have one and it works fine after 3 years of use now I’m not a contractor but for the homeowner this product worked gray for me!

A tractor bucket works just as good.

If not your home and a contractor. That's insane that you would put down mulch over weeds. And not pull them first

I am a firm believer in herbicides rather than pulling. Most weeds will return if you do not get all of the root. I will spray everything and cover with mulch and they will not return.
