This was a fun one. Subscribe for my next great idea!
I’d rate this one a 6 beer project.

I’m a 1 man operation, although I probably had another 6 while editing. Cheers!
is there a differential? Or have you been rolling with just a single tire drive?

No diff, just a quick release on 1 wheel and a pin on the other so I can choose which side freewheels. Very helpful when moving loads on a side hill. On even ground it’s minimal effort to keep straight. An Ariens with a diff would be a good option, I couldn’t find one cheap enough to butcher. Cheers!

@@EricFB Yeah. I feel this - Just did a build with a similar craftsman, i kept the engine though. Maneuverability isn't ideal so i was curious how yours was. You've got a shorter wheelbase which i imagine helps. I'm hunting around to maybe find a snowblower with a differential, or get one with tracks... but probably just build another one from scratch using a diff with an electric motor like yours. Thanks for the VID! Ps. your point about it being quiet is a good one - i hate having to start it up and make a ton of noise to move across the yard.

@@BenClouser Glad it was useful! This one isn't too bad to turn, I suspect greatly due to the short wheelbase and keeping the load over the pivot pint vs castors. My wife used it for an afternoon moving around soil and loved it. If you build from scratch, the Peerless 100 series could be a good diff. If I ever do a V2.0 I'll probably go this route, or grab a diff out of a garden tractor. Good luck!
