You legit are describing my flight anxiety and how I've conquered it too. My family lives in a different province so flying is part of my life and I've finally conquered that fear. Now I fly alone with my baby and have so much peace about it. I also agree with finding comfort when the pilot talks about what they expect! I'm not sure why. Haha so glad someone understands!!

I can relate so much to this. I used to have panic attacks before getting on planes and I've found that noise canceling headphones are srsly a life saver! I also always gauge the flight attendants, if they're not freaking out, I shouldn't be freaking since they are in the air ALL the time. Love that you shared this, and glad you are getting to a better place with travel anxiety

Definitely recommend pre-school or part time daycare not even for the socialization aspect but rather getting used to the idea of not being with your parent 24/7, I come from a family of teachers and they notice a difference in kindergarten drop off from stay at home parents vs working parents.

Yes we definitely want to do pre-k! Dan and I both didn’t do daycare as kids but we did pre-k and both loved it!

Im going on my first ever solo flight from Montreal to the UK in September and I felt this so much! I always thought I was the only one or that I was crazy because I have such bad anxiety and I knew it was probably not enjoyable for anyone around me. Thank you so much for talking about this and for being so open about medication! Im on anti anxiety meds for everyday life so i'm also hoping they will help me with my plane anxiety. I relate so so so much to this, thank you for sharing & i'm so proud of you !!! xxx

Alex, I have struggled with the exact same level of flight anxiety as you. I have gotten on the plane and gotten off 2 times. I have never talked or heard someone relay the exact way that I feel. I am doing a fear of flying clinic in the fall in Seattle and I hope it helps. I haven't been able to get on a plane since 2018 ): I am hoping this year is the year because I have missed out on so many trips. You give me hope!

Awww I'm so proud of you and you could also show Arkie the aircraft I bet he would admire them. Aircraft are so big and noisy although I honestly think the idea of it is fascinating. Transportation is advancing and I am very grateful for it.

I never was afraid of flying till i had kids almost 4 years ago. I flew once with my husband when my second baby was 2 months and we both almost didn't make it home from florida because we both have fear of flying and we both almost got off the plane. My husband gets clostrphobic and i dont like not being grounded, it was a mess to say the least. We now have 3 kids and a dog and drive 17 hours to florida every year to avoid flying haha.

@missremiashten here on KZread has a larger chest and she swears by boob tape. She wears a lot of clothes in a similar style and some are even open back.

Hey alex, I don’t know if this will work for you but you can get a bra that sicks to your boobs at the front and doesn’t go around your back at all which will help not have anything show for the white and pink dresses xx
