HI ALex, So excited for your family. When choosing a baby name my mother always told my sister's and I to think about how kids at school could tease our child. She was in the school system for years and was always heart broken when the kids would tease other kids about their name. Kids can be cruel to each other. Love many of the names you were saying. I feel like we have very similar taste in baby names! I also love a lot of nature names but found a lot of them too common. We ended up going with Willa for my youngest, similar to Willow but slightly more modern. I also had a friend growing up who’s parents loved the name River but their last name was Fisher… So they ended up naming her Riva which I always loved

We’re naming our (future) baby girl Violet Rae, i always hear jokes about Violet from Willy Wonka but i will not be swayed from it ✋

Congrats on your wonderful news. I love all your name choices thus far. Lately I've been loving "old" French names... for a girl: Claire-Aurélie (one or the other alone or hyphenated together) and for a boy: Laurent. I'm thinking of future grandchildren names already and my sons are still too young (21/23). Yikes and lol. Whatever name you both choose will be perfect (as it was for your first little one).

Such pretty names! I really loved Isla for a girl but it was becoming too popular, so we named our girl Ayla (pronounce ay-luh). We are in Quebec too and I’ve never heard another girl with this name here. So excited for you and Dan ❤️

Im having a girl and also from Quebec. Ayla is my favorite name and i really want to name her that but my husband hates it 😭😭😭😭😭 he said they will pronounce it badly here with the quebecois accent, like ey lo.

One, I love Azriel (Azi) for short, I remember watching that movie as a kid about Aurore in French with subtitles and crying so I know how you feel. I love Rhys (Jonathan Rhys - the actor) thanks for sharing this video 😊

The other day I had a dream about you announcing the birth of a daughter called Delilah and then you corrected yourself and said Marjorie 🤣Honestly, I love the names you have in your list and Azriel sounds amazing with Arkham.

We were going to name our son Arkham and still love that name, but our family members literally laughed at us when we told them! Like if it was anyone else it wouldn’t have affected me, but something about it being immediate family members hurt me and made me change half way through the pregnancy. I still love it and it’s #1 on my list and think we may choose it next time if we’re blessed with another baby 😊
