I don’t think he stood out in make a wish to me yet - tbh apart from red hair guy and youthful sassy guy i don’t remember anyone‘s looks in particular v.v when it’s so many new people at once my brain just sorts them all into „male between 15 and 30 years old“ and moves on 😂 he stood out a lot to me during Cherry Bomb though - I loved his entire styling, it complimented him so well✨ I guess colorful hair really helps anchoring a newbies attention to someone long enough to remember a member at least for the duration of the song - maybe that’s why they go so wild with haircolours in kpop 👏🏻😅 I’ll try to remember the name, but the Korean names ending in similar sounds always give me trouble, especially since they aren’t common here - always worried of mixing them up or even mixing them together v.v

@@Landyra this is what always happens with nct so be prepared. Most of the times even fans need some time to like "process" the song. Once the brain has done it .. absolute bops. Their title tracks are most of the time really experimental and strange at first listen. I usually need like three listens to appreciate the song properly. The first time it's more like "i like this but I'm so shocked I don't know if I really like this" or even "i hate this". Then it just suddenly make so much sense and you can't stop listening. I hated kick it when it was first released and i didn't stan nct yet. Then the song became a HUGE hit last year and i happened to listen to it again by chance and i was like "HOW COULD I HATE THIS MASTERPIECE?!". It's really an nct thing. But i also like that their bsides are usually more easy to digest. They make so many genres that it's impossible to not find something that you like in their discography.

I just remember the first time I listen to NCT songs I can't get them but then I become obsessed with their music it's just that they have their own sound

That’s NCT typical song: weird, addictive and catchy at the same time (mostly all of NCT song are experimental) First listen: wtf is this? Second listen: hmm okay Then, sing to NCT’s song all day bcs it stuck in my head Anyway thank you for reacting to NCT!💚

'Outside guy' is Mark, one of Kai's 'ideal' younger brothers if he had younger siblings. In other words, everyone loves Mark because he is talented, hard-working and extremely precious and sweet. I mean, all of NCT are but well all of NCT agrees with us fans when we say Mark is hard-working and adorable so there is that (I hope this made sense). Either way, don't rush, take your time and you will know them all before long. I would recommend guides (on your own time even if possible) and variety content if that would help you out. Also yeah, you will hear Mark a lot since he is one of the group's main rappers.

I THOUGHT it was mark, who I think is youthful sassy voice guy from boss?! But I had the feeling because of the hair - and we all know how unreliable hair is for telling apart Kpop members 😂 when I feel like I recognize someone, and my top indicator is hair, I usually just keep my mouth shut! Then again, it worked for Lay in exo, bcs his hair actually is pretty consistent! I don’t watch any content on my own time while doing a reaction series (that feels like continuing my playthrough of a story based game off stream) BUT once I’ve checked out all subunits, I’ll consider watching a guide, if I wanna go deeper 🙏🏻✨ aaah, my Korean lecture is starting now, I take so long to type responses!! But yes, Mark is also that guy from Boss, both are older songs, he was pretty young back then (well he still is but back then he was like 17-19). In fact, back then Taeyong (red/pink-haired guy) even joked how Mark was still going through puberty XD Kick It is a newer song (from last year)

U will see Mark in almost all NCT unit except for WayV haha and 1 era of nct dream since it was suppose to have graduate system on that unit but changed to fixed unit and they put Mark back. Taeyong & Mark would be see alot specially in nct127 songs or if they r in a song together cus they r rap duo :) Taeyong (the red, pink, silver hair guy ) is nct leader +center visual.

Yeah the red guy in boss is now pink guy in cherry bomb. His name is Taeyong n He was the first one to start the Intro rap in Make a wish too. Taeyong and Mark are the main rapper of Nct.

10:02 Many K-pop groups have a longer main vocal line than the rapper part. But in NCT, the main rapper has more lines than the vocalists at least in the title track. But if you listen to the b-sides, you'll notice that they also have a lot of amazing vocalists in the group. You will find TAEYONG and MARK got a lot of lines (rap part) in NCT songs, especially NCT ​​127 and NCT U.

I‘ll definitely still have a hard time memorizing them any time soon, unless I try to actually STUDY (which tbh, won’t happen!) - even broken down into subunits it still seems to be mid-sized groups 😅 maybe once I’ve checked out all the subunits I’ll watch a guide so I’ve at least heard all the names once 🤔 for now though, I’m starting with the music 🔥 and yep - once I’ve checked out all subunits once, i‘ll most likely pick one to get to know better! I‘d say IF I’m still interested, but I can’t see myself not being interested after this 😅

@@Landyra trust when I say "once you go to NCT there's no turning back." Tbh I feel like you will have a hard time memorizing, 'knowing' a 23 member group just by watching your Exo reactions but I know you can do it! It's just really takes time. And yes I think you should watch a guide to know them more (SPECIALLY UNITS). Trust me when I say it may look like it's so hard but trust me you wouldn't realize one day you know them all already. I would like to recommend Limitless, Superhuman and Favorite! They are in my opinion the best NCT127 title tracks. And if you're really into cherry bomb, you are also going to like fire truck.

that was actually one of the reasons I started doing this series! Toxic stans (for all groups unfortunately) are so loud, sometimes people forget that 90% of the fans are lovely and open minded! Also they are known as one if the best dance groups, known for their clean dance moves, incredible synchronization. Fun fact : NCT stands for neo culture technology so you can notice the concept very present in their MVS sometimes in the music itself specially in nct127, they introduced the noise music to the public and you can notice that influence specially in 4th gen boy groups. You can also notice the concept in the music video itself they have a lot of cars robots mechanical stuff their outfits usually has very futuristic vibe to it ect..

Yes you are right, the pink haired guy in cherry bomb and the blond haired guy in kick it are the same person (aka the red haired guy), his name is Taeyong and he is the leader of the group. Don't feel too much pressure on getting to know nct! As a fan since debut, I notice most of the fandom struggled with stanning nct and getting to know them well. 23 members is a lot so I hope we've been welcoming enough for you. It's better to get to know them now before they add new members in the future (as that's one of nct's concepts😭) so I wish you luck! Enjoying your content so far.

The fandom has been very welcoming and supportive so far - so many fans have come forward and told me they took months or even years to get to know the members, which was very reassuring - especially because I can’t react super often and it easily turns into months when you only watch one MV per week or so 🥺💜 thank you for watching and commenting 🥰

NCT is known for their incredible stage performance, after you watch their MV's you check those out, they are PERFECT

Pink/red/silver hair guy is Taeyong, the blue haired one in Cherry Bomb is Doyoung, the one you felt intimidated by in Kick it is Jaehyun while the youthful and sassy from Boss is Mark and he is the one you saw a lot in Cherry bomb and the one who got highlights in his dark hair in Kick it.

As an nctzen this reaction makes me so happy. I clicked straightaway. Thank u♥️ and also it came at a time when NCT is about to have their comeback as an entire unit. Hope you check out the other units too when u r ready 😄 NCT 127 is the most experimental one out of all the units, u can never predict the type of song they'll release next. Do check out some songs from their this years album. there's sticker, lemonade and favourite. All very different. once again thanks for the reaction I really enjoyed it ♥️

as a pre-debut fan i must say nct is a whole journey! it's not a group you can understand from just a few listensyou gotta keep digging because they are 4 groups in one so yeah it's not super simple BUT their existance itself is fun, everything they release is surprising bcz we never know what we're gonna get, nothing is predictable with nct and in the kpop world where things can get somewhat similar and a bit repetitive nct is a breath of fresh air

Mark and Taeyong definitely best rapper's in kpop. For Mark he has sas and no body can ride the rhythm like him not even western rapper's actually. For Taeyong he has a lot of attitude and colors in his rap, he blend in any type of song and make it like it's his own song and on top of that he's one if not the only in kpop who perfects vocal fry and most importantly his voice tone is just the best. I'm an old kpop fan and I've listened to so many rapper's and I've only just recently got into Nct and yep I've never enjoyed rap kpop songs until Taeyong and Mark

Taeyong (ncts overall leader) is the red head in boss, the hour hair in make a wish, pink hair in cherry bomb and silver hair in kick it. The one you said that you said that you have seen a lot is mark and yes he was just one person u wasn't mixing them up, he was also the one in boss where u said he has a sort of childish sound/youthful tone to his voice. Nct also has a unit called wayv which is ncts Chinese unit, the reason they don't have nct in their name is bc of the problems between china and korea. Nct has four units nct u, nct dream, nct 127, wayv. Nct is also known for their "noise" sounds but unexpected turns in their songs.

If you're planning to watch any of NCT's dance practice videos, I recommend you to watch 127's Simon Says' dance practice video. I became addicted to their dance practice and eventually became an nctzen after watching Simon Says' dance practice.

Neat! It's definitely for the better to start with unit per unit till you are more familiar with all of them. Glad you enjoyed it ^^ (also the I'm the biggest hit is just so catchy :D)

You asked if you knew one of the members, i don't think you saw him before but for the record his name is Johnny, he is a dancer, rapper and vocalist of the group. He was born in Chicago so he is half korean and half American. The other rapper his name is mark and you will see him almost everywhere because he participate in almost in all the sub units of NCT, and he is an amazing rapper along side with taeyong of course, and he was in the make a wish mv. In the second song the silver hair guy is taeyong as well haha you pointing him everywhere
