Standing liberty was minted from December 1916 until 1930. If there are 3 stars beneath the eagle (I can't see any, but they could be too worn and cakes in mud....please clean it!), It was made after 1917, as they altered the design from an uncovered left breast on Liberty to covered, and added those stars under the eagle. Either way, it's 1930 or earlier.

Having another look, it must have stars, as the placement of the eagle also changed at the time. The earliest version sees the eagle down much lower, just skimming above where it says quarter dollar...so it's definitely version 2.

If you didn’t find out already, the mint mark will be NW of the date, next to the very bottom star.
