+Junior Collantes current uk plates are 15 or 65. Goes up every year. So in 2020 u can have 20 after first two letters

+troybballin14 There's nothing like the old one. What ruins it is that awful grill. Even Motor Trend hated it. The front was ruined by Audi's new design language which quite frankly sucks balls. The rear looks a bit fat but it's not bad. There's no longer blades and that sucks. And interior? Don't even get me started. I get that the screen is now in the gauge cluster area but they could've designed the dash a lot better. It looks so cheap and empty. This car hasn't grown on me. Usually I don't like a new design but it grows on me. But if it hasn't grown on me by now, I won't ever like it. That's the case with this R8.

Man, the new R8 is very nice. Also, great to drive it in a beautiful place like that.

This is perfect! The V10 sound without the silly Italian body kit! I love this car!

I drove this in Le Castellet. Take it from me the new 8 is FANTASTIC! Interior is stunning, performance, handling, braking and the sound of this car is something else!! My present v10, is over 6 years old & I've put 72,000 miles on the clock, I still love it, enjoyed every second driving it & I know it probably better than the back of my hand OK, because I love the shape of my present car and the uncluttered view of my engine it took a little while to get used to the new one........ABOUT 5 SECONDS!!

So when's the delivery?

You drive that car on my birthday..and post it 2 days after that..so,it is a good birthday gift for me..thank you shmee150!!!

+sevenseasvoyager I'm Dutch and my Supra is RHD. and i love my Supra, but the ride is not as easy as a LHD. If a truck double parked, you can see anything. And special on narrow two-way road, it is more exciting to pass a oncoming vehicle.

The r8 is sold here in Aus in rhd. A car has to be older than 30yrs to remain lhd here.

Love the interior design

I thought the old ones looked quite boring, and I see one almost weekly on my way to work. I like the aggressive look of the new ones

I love the new R8! The tougher decision is what color to get!

I like the old version better. However, it does look amazing!

I like it, it's sort of more aggressive, sort of better than the older one, sort of blue as well, more sort of power, sort of newer as well, new sort of Audi logo. All the buttons on the steering wheel are sort of new, especially the sort of big red start button. Big sort of display which I also like, you can view everything on, sort of a cool feature. All in all, sort of a good value for money. Would totally sort of buy if I could. Sort of.

Gr8, finally the R8 looks like a proper sports car. I'm thinking on exactly the same plus version in same ext colour and slightly different int. colour combo. Had Audis before, but not R8 yet, what are the seats like in normal drive or for longer rides 100-300km, speed 150-180km/h...

I've seen you, I'm from the region, and I said to myself, it's odd to see that many R8, must be some kind of show or gathering, hope you enjoyed the area.

Enjoyable video again, +Shmee150..On a technical note, I wonder why we don't see flat8s instead of v8s in any of these kind of mid-engined cars, for the same handling and smoothness of engine benefits the flat 6s give in the Porsche Boxters and Caymans..Nice auto! I heard Supercars of London say one had been timed at 2.8 to 60!

Hey Shmee, Thanks for a good vid. I am always pleased though somewhat envious of your cars :) One small thing if I may. Please stop gesturing with your hands in the vid when describing details of the cars. I think we can all agree that we understand what you are talking about while filming a highlight. I trust this is not taken to harshly by either yourself or the great fan base. Looking forward to the next one :)

Blue, is it already ordered?

I prefer the old R8 in looks, but in my opinion the interior and performance makes up for it a bit. I have not seen it in person yet, I hope so soon, maybe I'll change my mind, like the Huracan in person vs in pictures.

I fell in love with the R8 when it came out, when the did the facelift and I'm in love again with the new model even more. Sadly nothing changed about my bank account :(
