Great video. Deffo leave those chrome side strips off, they will only rust the shell one day, it just doesn't need them. Look forward to the giants.

I was considering those for my Mk1 years ago but someone gave me the halo ones, and now I like how they look different from the original headlights (and I like how they upset the anoraks! 😃)

Must admit I’d remove the bumpers, add a couple of spotlights. Lovely car, saw a few MGs yesterday through the Peak District, always about this time of year 👍

@marcushayesford im from down south in county cork but love getting up to donegal,big old skool ford following in cork aswell,as it has to be seeing as the anglias cortinas and a few more were assembled is cork but sadly nothing left of the old plant 🤘🤘lovin the videos Marcus keep it up

Ayy up Marcus and cat,My perents neighbour restores MG’S and old British layland cars,he has done a few old mg cars up and they are ok but sooner have an Old Ford.or an old Rover P5 coupe or 3500 P6

Cool little car mate, A series in the Midget, same as original Minis, B series in the MGB... Unless it's a V8 MGB then it's a Rover motor 👍

The engine in the MG Midget is the same as the old mini's, the 4 cylinder A series engine

I was able to shift without double clutching Wayne but I was only cruising. 👍

You did well Marcus I had a go in a mate of mine mg midget and was playing some real tunes on the gearbox until I got used to double clutching

I don't think the MG community has anoraks.. As an MG fan... I'm just happy to see one move under it's own steam and metal still in the floorpans 🤣🤣 Viva la Metro Turbo lol
