It’s a bit of a shame to find people’s first experience and know that there’s a detail looked over by everyone for getting ready to play DO. Everyone’s audio is nearly inaudible inside the game, it makes those first runs not as cool to experience :( like if MCC sands of time sound cues for the timer and the music didn’t work for someone as it should’ve. And it’s a weird little thing you have to tweak in the Audioplayer mod for Voice Chat before adding it fully. you have to get into the mod with text edit and change a thing at the bottom from false to true, it’s at false by default. It’s what allows Announcer discs to be active, which is what Tango uses in DO for custom audio to be heard consistently no matter where you are within the jukebox’s range. He sets the disc to have Announcer enabled so it’s clear and not distance based, since jukeboxes get quieter the further you are from it and is directional, he has that set to be clear as long as you are inside the range. I knew of the announcer setting from Tangos redstone streams, but I only knew of the thing you need to tweak from a Reddit post on everything about setting up for DO down to all kinds of details for long term.

Poh pmy goodness the ppoofy mic noises. I just watched someone with a very soft quiet sounding mic, so I forget some streamers I don’t regularly watch have very BOLD and loud mic right at their faces and it takes a few moments to get used to and stop noticing. Dunno if bold is a word to use to describe the way a mic sounds lol!
