+Leviathan Gaming The new heat system is one of the factors that led to me putting out fewer gear demos. It just takes so long to heat now, and buying fire crystals outright is quite expensive. 50 radiants for 500e. =..=

Well, that definitely brought back some memories of SK of old, when it was fun to play through 10 floors, using my mist energy, with my friend and just having fun with the heavily teamwork oriented gameplay for a hour every day. The music, the atmosphere, the gameplay, just so beautiful. I miss that, most all of it. As to the "cringe worthy" parts, it boils down to the discovering of bomb boxes by slamming your face into it at the beggining, and the attempt shoot a gunpuppy using what I assume is mouse only controls.

This is indeed a time capsule. I'm glad that you found this, now I can give all of the newer players something to look back on every time they complain about the game now. Oh nostalgia..

The days with MIst Energy & being stuck at Knight Elite mission, grinding at the Jelly Palace because it had the highest crowns per floor ratio to upgrade my gears. May take a loot at the game after these few months

+Chawkthree SK Sadly, this game is coming to a probable end soon. I love this game to pieces, but I am so frustrated with it's current development cycle. Crazy enough, hardly any new costumes are coming out either. After the gun update I was in high hopes the game would make a rebound, but it never happened. It just perpetually slows down with it's age, and I am going to be genuinely sad when it is shut down. I hope the devs are just going to surprise slap us in the face with tons of new content like they did with the no energy elevators and whatnot. This game is truly unlike any other MMO, especially the community. But gameplay, story line, mechanics, appearance, graphics... nothing quite compares. I think all of us SK players and supporters hope to see this game make some sort of revival, but it's looking more and more grim as time moves forward. Thanks for posting this, it is almost a carbon copy of my first time playing it with my friends, I think it goes without saying that it was like that for all of us long time players. I miss this, I really do...

+calin gheorghe A big reason why I was gone for six months was due to some channel restrictions. The whole channel was actually deleted by KZread a few months back, I was able to get them to bring it back after a few days. Was a close call to say the least.

The story of how I came to love SK is actually how a lot of my SK friends came to love it: I got it on Steam about 2 years ago and I did it for the tf2 hat, so once I got that, I left it sitting in Steam for the LONGEST time, but one day in the summer before I first went to middle school, I decided to break it out and play it again. I LOVED IT and played it so much that I ranked up to Def. Elite in about 5 weeks and worked up a WEEK worth of hours in playing time, and a few days after I first broke it out again, I met a friend who I'll never forget, her username was LightBlueBear (please don't storm her with mail and pas after seeing this comment) and she helped me with a mission I was stuck on. The day after that I,COINCIDENTALLY saw her again and we became friends and she invited me to join her guild (not listing the name) I met so many people and made so many friends and I joined our guild's website that she had created (she's the Guild Master btw) and from then on I just really

Palathaxx androqelee mist energy was energy that was replenished every 24 hours, while crystal energy is energy that you buy through depot

+DilemmaBeans I'm not sure about Sk's future. I don't think it's a stretch to say that a lot of players are tired of promo after promo and not much new playable content in between. I would at least like to see energy purchases and prize boxes come bundled again. I don't think I've bought energy or boxes ever since they stopped being bundled. There's a whole laundry list of things I'd like to see rolled back or implemented. Would be neat to gather some influential players together and do a "State of Spiral Knights" video, lol.

The memories man. I still remember the time when I played this, I was edgy af. Just a random question but do you know our remember a guy named Verde-Ember? He was the guy who invited me to his guild, lots of nice people, and that's where I started to get addicted to the game. But one day he disappeared out of nowhere, just gone. Even the guild. I tried asking around my guild mates but none of them know what happened. :

Onlu hearing you press the laptop's touchpad is cringey xD

why do ppl use gun up close... how about u stand back to gun(a comment to the old u) move to gun and do not dare rely on auto target....WASD used to move around is easier to get to but the fwd to move where ever ur mouse is at is best used to do fancy moves in lockdown :/
