I'm from Oahu, please take your Mom & self to the best Hidden gem: La Mariana Sailing Club, it's 5 minutes from the Honolulu airport and the very last remaining original tiki bars, call ahead...make sure they're open, they have the best vibe of OLD Hawaii \!!!/ Alohas and glad you sat on the good side of the plane for landing! You flew over my old beach house in Ewa beach. Did you see Pearl Harbor from the air?

My mom always wanted to go to Hawaii. She never made it. Her last year on earth, I went to Hawaii alone, and I ‘hiked’ to the top of Diamondhead. I FaceTimed my mom from the top. I screenshot us as the view from the top, beautiful blue water and my mom, in her little FaceTime box smiling from her bedroom. I love you, Mom. Watch over us down here.

My mum also wanted to go but was too scared to fly,it’s a long flight,we are in Sydney.she passed away last year

Hope you find comfort with the many good memories of your mom. I had always wanted to take my mom to Ireland where our ancestors were from. But it never happened. So glad Adam will have Hawaiian memories with his mom.🌺

You are a good son taking your Mum to Hawaii, I will drop hints to my son for him to hopefully do the same for me one day. Looking forward to this series, your Mum looks like a great travelling companion.

We flew nonstop from Boston to Honolulu in coach last spring. A very long flight bunched up in regular seats, but the reward at the end of the flight was worth it. Of course, we returned to Boston nonstop bunched up in regular seats also! Nice to see you and your mom having fun together.

If you go back the island of Kauai is the best IMO. You can do an ATV tour that takes you to all sorts of filming locations such as Jurassic Park. It is amazing

You can also do ATV and movie lot tours at Kualoa Ranch on my island of Oahu 🤙

Definitely do Kualoa Ranch so many things have been filmed there including Jurassic Park and Karate Kid 2

I always try to fly Hawaiian when going to the islands. Its rated one of best airlines in the world for service. IF you compare Hawaii to Florida, weather wise, you will notice the Tradewinds blowing a lot and it isn't quite as humid as Florida due to lower ocean temps. They have afternoon showers frequently just like Florida.

Earlier this month, when my fiancé and I began planning our trip, we came across your vids and your tips really helped us make the most of our time there. Imagine our surprise when we were waiting to board our return flight home to Honolulu yesterday and we spotted you boarding the same flight! While we didn’t get the chance to thank you right then and there, we wanted to be sure to do so here. I really hope that you and your mom have a great time on Oahu. If you’re staying in Waikiki, we wanted to recommend one of our favorite breakfast spots there: Basalt - The charcoal pancakes with guava syrup and mascarpone whip cream are especially delicious!
