I had phones back in the baller days when different types of phones were actually specially and you could run up $1,000 bills. I loved my Motorola StarTac, that was the best phone ever.

Palm Treos were great. I still carry one and use it for all the apps and databases I generated with it. I also carry a cheap Android phone to make phone calls and texts. The battery is easily swappable, so I am using a new battery.

Its like looking through a time capsule😂

That phone definitely is not a Palm Treo 750. The 750 had Windows Mobile OS while yours have Palm OS. I think the one you have is a Palm Treo 700p.

Hi Justine. Happy New Year ! Hope all is well in your world. The first cell phone that I ever owned was a Radio Shack Bag Phone, that I had installed in my Audi 5000. Between the phone and the pedestal stand installation, etc..... It cost about $3,000. I was able to remove the phone from the car and carry around the bag, which contained the power supply, and feel "really cool". I was lugging probably 5 or 6 lbs for the"cool" effect. I went on to own a Motorola Brick, a host of flip phones, sliders, and finally, in either late 2009 or early 2010, I took the plunge and got an Iphone 3s. The rest is history. Currently sporting an IPhone 7plus with no upgrade plans in store unless something revolutionary comes out. Thanks for the memories and keep up your good work. Have followed you from the beginning. my first cell phone was a sony ericson k700i in 2005! I actually moved out on my own in 2001 but only had a landline up to that point. I moved in with friends who didnt have a landline and I was forced into getting a cell phone and I actually never had a landline ever after. Im currently using a samsung galaxy s8+ and will upgrade in spring when my 2 year plan runs out

My first phone was in 1998 I think, a Qualcomm QCP-1960 I think, they made several models that looked the same. It had no graphics, just an LCD display with numbers and text. I did also have a pocket PC though, a Compaq Aero, which was the first one with a color screen I think. I loved that for college. I think I was the only person I knew that had one.

My first phone was prepaid! .25 to text lol. It was on the Virgin network here in the states.

My first phone, well I had an “emergency phone” that was my dad’s old Nokia passed down to me when he upgraded to a Blackberry. But my first “non-emergency” phone that really felt like my own was my trusty pink Motorola Razr. First smartphone I got sophomore year of high school, an HTC Google G2 phone, and then finally an iPhone 4 maybe junior/senior year. And I only upgraded once more from there: I just graduated college and I’ve had this iPhone 6 since halfway through my freshman year.

Mine was the brick phone, which I still have and it still turns on. We met at the SFO Apple Store the year Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone. We were at the Apple Store for a panel discussion hosted by Leo LaPorte. The panel had Leo, Adam Christiansen, Alex Lindsey and a few others I can't remember. I was talking to Alex before it started and you walked up. I was captivated by your energy! Nice to meet you and congrats on the success of your KZread channel. I enjoy your videos, especially the ones that include drone reviews.

Lol the higlight feature of my first phone (a mitsubishi trium astral) was: "Prepared for future text messaging" 😂😂😂 ...yes i'm that old 😶

My first phone was a Sony Ericsson T106, my parents gave it to me as a christmas gift back in fall 2003, I was amazed by that phone, it was really small and it had a greyscale display, it was not impressive, but at that time, it was incredible for me.

Sony Ericsson's were vibin' too back in the day.. those lush orange and black theme things

The camera is amazing

Phones back then were so cool. Everything now is a boring brick with a screen. I remember lusting after the Matrix phone and trying to figure out how to make one. After that, it was European phones that I couldn't get my hands on, like the Nokia E90 Communicator.

My first cell phone was a Palm Treo and I still carry it and use it for all the great apps and databases I created with it. I also carry a cheap Android Moto E to make calls and text. I preferred the Treo's keyboard for texting, but that's progress for you. The easliy swappable battery let me buy a new one for it, so It's running fine.

My first phone was a Nokia back in 2001. I remember having a phone case for my Nokia phone. It had sunflowers on it and I remember buying a few phone charms from the mall.

Funny how I hated phones too. Even texting is annoying because you have to ask people for their numbers and thus social media was always my favourite because I could talk to random people

I had the 700wx. I bought it because of the windows OS. I remember when the iphone was announced I couldn't figure out what the big deal was as I could do most of the things it could on my phone. This wasn't my first phone though, that was a flip phone I had in the '90s which doubled as a cell phone and landline. I can't even remember the brand, but if you walked within a certain range of the base it became a landline, and if you got out of range it was a cell phone.

That thing is a space ship compared to my first phone. Mine was an Alcatel One Touch easy in 1998! The only function it had was call and sms and it only had 2 lines for text!
