My first Arduino project: Lego railroad crossing
Each year, hundreds of Lego people are being senselessly injured in my apartment at manual railroad crossings controlled by 5 year olds. My first Arduino project attempts to tackle this challenging problem.

Hello Niels - I used a flex sensor - you can see it sticking out of the blue block in the top of the video. When the train passes by, the wheels cause it to bend slightly, which changes its resistance. Let me know if you need more info!
