I also was blessed to have this experience. I experienced ego death and then it was only Allness. I was everything and everything was me. I was in everything. It was unbelievable experience that changed me forever. It felt like I came back home at last. There was only peace. I was one with everything ❤

I experienced ego death while at work one day. I just realized that I thought I was a particular person but that person was fictional and holding me back similar to a house you were paying a mortgage on that was taking up all your resources. As it was let go I felt I wanted to keep it but I had to let it go and then I accepted it. I felt liberation and everyday was new and exciting after that for a few years. I felt blissful for those years until desire came back and a female demon stole my soul 😄. To an extent but that was to remove any remaining desire I had. Unfortunately after that went .....years of bad programming and the human condition has me in a tough place. I feel trapped in an ageing body with all its problems but the more obvious mental issues were destroyed. Like severe social anxiety and sex addiction. (Great combination lol. ) Thanks Life. I feel the next step is to stop ducking and diving life's austerities once more......the suffering is fixing you

Therefore the Master takes action by letting things take their course. He remains as calm at the end as at the beginning. He has nothing, thus has nothing to lose. What he desires is non-desire; what he learns is to unlearn. He simply reminds people of who they have always been. He cares about nothing but the Tao. Thus he can care for all things.” ― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching

There can’t be nothing: True There can’t be anything: False Being is finite. Being requires matter, energy, and space (all finite elements). There CAN be anything. Again, any thing is composed of matter, energy, and space. However, God is infinite - no matter, no energy, and no space. God is real but cannot be. So if there’s a paradox, it’s that the infinite cannot be [finite]. The title to the video is confusing because, as you can now see, being infinite is an oxymoron. Those so-called ‘60s gurus had it all wrong with this “Be Here Now” cosmic woo-woo. It’s not possible to be anything. It’s only possible to create here now.

@Mark Coleman I’m very careful in my use of language when discussing spiritual topics because ideas are often misunderstood and misinterpreted. “Being” is defined as existing. “Existing” implies matter, energy, and space. I don’t know what you’re referring to when you say “we”. Are you referring to your True Self, your identity, or your body? And I don’t know if English is your first language because there are a few typos and your last sentence makes no sense.

  • @LorenzoNW

    @LorenzoNW

    3 жыл бұрын

@Mark Coleman “But I highly doubt being or existed or awareness is limited to space or time.” By definition, “being” and “exist” are dependent on matter, energy, and space. Awareness is not. “It's definitely limited to energy since everything is a form of energy.” Every thing is defined by matter, energy, and space. All three are interdependent. Awareness is not a thing. “Even the mind or conciousness [consciousness], whatever you wanna call it.’ The mind and consciousness are entirely separate. The mind is a thing. Consciousness is not. “If there are other dimensions of awareness then they might not be limited to the laws of physics that we are use to.” Awareness isn’t in a dimension. “Expeciallyd [Especially] the source of mind. Aka god, aka source energy, aka pure mind. That's all god is.” The inability, lack of willingness, or ignorance in regards to differentiation is the prime source of confusion. You’re not differentiating between mind, God, and energy. I have no idea what “pure mind” is. It’s not a term found in the dictionary.

It is made clear in all the texts from those who have the absolute experience that words are completely inadequate for that experience, much less the state of someone who has been established in that experience of absolute. Hi Martin, I knew you became permanently enlightenment by the use of 5-meo-dmt. Today I had my line of 5 meo snorted in my nose, and boy what intense it was. On the very brink of death I was unsure to let go completely, and seemed to linger in that uncertainty for 10 minutes, the duration of the peak. Now this is not an easygoing way to experience infinity, dying doesn't seem to be something I like doing very much even though it's clear that there is no-one to die and no-one to be scared. I'm not quiet sure if I'm ready for another round, if I do do you think I should just take just higher dosages, to get me over the edge? Do you think it's safe to use this stuff without experiencing hell, if you have a decent/good understanding of what the ego is? What this stuff does, is absolutely freaking insane, not for sissies

You should read his book. The resistance can definitely happen, he recommends 3 hits. Why? The first hit gets you ready, some like you and I will have certain inhibitions going into it, so you have to try first to test the waters. Then you should go again, and again. You have to get through the ring of death and that means the worst, indeed. Just take the leap of faith, as martin says, it will beautifully return YOU, your ego, safe and sound, slowly, in a way that is perfect. Another advice- go into it with mindset- I surrender and embrace what happens, just go easy on me. And the rest will happen on its own. You will know, just leap.

I read a book that described our world like film from a movie. If you look at the way it works, each separate picture makes us see movement. So I, not having a life at that time, just made every thought to picture the in-between. I didn't know about breath, or technique of meditation. I was able to see life from another higher perspective. I saw myself walking in front of me. I was light. It only lasted for a short time, but changed everything.

@@AkshayKumar-nk8dw Not too long ago, movies were made on film and put onto a reel. There were hundreds/thousands of frames - each one had a picture almost exactly like the one before, with a slight difference. When you spun the reel on a projector, it looks as if it's constant movement. What I would do is put myself in a constant flow of trying to be in the part between each frame/picture. While I walked, got on the bus, ate, etc., I would concentrate on just that. One of the days, as I was walking to the market, I felt things I had learned to the fullest. I had taken psychology, and it was like one of the greats let me in their mind. I felt that if I put myself in the mind of an Alheimers person, or a baby, someone without language, I could go so much further with this. My mind had totally expanded. When walking back from the store, I was totally in the zone. I was expanded. I could see me walking about 25 feet in front of me. I was light. When I tried to think of how I'd explain this, it faded. I had another very cool thing happen a few years later. Different, but fascinating. For another time. Take care Akshay. P.S. The reason psychedelics work so well is they instantly put you in a place where you're not in the past and not in the future. You're completely in the present moment. The magical place. We can learn to do this. Either way is amazing.

This can't be the same "God" that would throw anyone into "Hell" for disobeying "him." This couldn't be the same God that would condemn homosexuals for being who they are or frowning upon anyone who wants to divorce an abusive spouse. This can't be the same "God" that wants you to worship and praise him or adhere to a particular religion or meditative practice. It seems this description of God doesn't "want" anything. It just is in all it's isness a radiant, unfathomable love that embrases all that is within itself. No words or ideology can touch this. In fact, any effort to make religion or philosophy of this would cause one to completely miss it's essence.

The idea of hell is a misconception. Hell is a place that can exist on earth. It is a state of total ruin and lawlessness. Think of a drug addict that has completely lost control of their life. The punishment for sin is actually eternal death; you miss out on eternal life and cease to exist forever. Just total nothingness. It is actually a very merciful punishment considering the evil that man is capable of. So I hope it is a relief to you to know that there is no eternal hellfire where people are burnt for ever. God would never do that and naturally it makes no sense. Romans 6:23 KJV - "For the wages of sin is death..." How did this misconception arise? The misinterpretation or mistranslation of the bible (which happens often). The original Hebrew word for hell just means a place outside Jerusalem where they threw all the trash. It was a place of total ruin where no one worked to take care of it and keep it orderly. This was then used as an example of what happens when you don't do the right thing. Again there is no eternal burning hell, only eternal death.

Our fractioned understanding of reality makes it impossible to conclude what this experience truly represents, but I know one thing: the chance of any human having been able to correctly create the framework of reality in a book written by different authors with different backgrounds is very very unlikely. I would be careful to think that we have the answer. The problem is instead viewing them as mythological stories and metaphors that describe our true nature, people take the stories literal and distort the true meaning. In essence, all religions point to only one thing, and it's what is vaguely described in this video.

I experienced god when I had been awake for almost a week, was tripping on an insane dose of DOB which I thought was LSD. I had never tried psychedelics and had to endure 32 hours of knives in my neck, extreme vasoconstriction, contortions, moments of true beauty, screaming, puking, freefalling for hours on end and not being able to feel objects and the floor, multiple scenes of horror and beauty unfolded before me at the same time while lots of other things happened at that same moment aswell. I can’t even describe it all, words don’t do it justice.. I was heavily addicted, thought I was going to die and at one point in the trip I just decided I was going to give up. I let go and embraced death and I got “blasted” into a white light. Where words didn’t exist, my ego didn’t exist, thoughts didn’t exist.. all I knew was that I was it and it was everything, and that I understood everything, and everything was love. And when I came back to earth I was no longer addicted, didn’t have any borderline issues anymore and felt immense happiness for 2 months. My ego slowly came back and so did the problems. Finding out the truth about life has always been the one thing I was after. I have never been able to sustain a “normal” life or stay happy for long. I know 5-meo is the answer, it is the truth. I knew nothing about ego death before, never tried any psychedelic and did not believe in any of the existing relegions nor did I have any idea of what the truth could be. I wanted to know the truth and would accept the truth whatever that might be. Perhaps because I was at the lowest point of my life, couldn’t find the answers I was looking for and was ready to die I finally got to see the truth.. I find it hard to really explain what happened since I didn’t know about ego death and non duality back then. I just started doing research after it happened and never wrote anything down. All I know is that I had this experience and that it changed my life. But like I said... the ego came back.

A friend and I got dosed with DOB or STP back in the early 70's. It was supposed to be natural Hawaiian wood rose powder. We knew something was not right when we were still coming on to the stuff 36 hours later. We thought we were going to be permanently psychedelic. It was so weird being psychedelic like that for so long and trying to interact with people who aren't on the same wavelength. When the stuff finally started wearing off we almost couldn't believe it that we weren't permanently going to be tripping. Then we went after the guys who sold it us and they admitted it was STP (or maybe DOB but they called it STP). We were really pissed-off because not only was it not "natural Hawaiian wood rose powder" but it was not even regular LSD. We put the word out around town to warn folks about this product.

  • @LorenzoNW

That’s the problem with using drugs as a short-cut to enlightenment. You can experience your true Self but the ego rapidly reconstructs itself following the experience and you’re left without the knowledge and understanding of how to stay out of the cesspool of mental garbage. There’s nothing inherently wrong with an ego. In fact, you’d end up in the loony bin without one. An ego is synonymous with an identity. It’s a lens from which you can function in the world. The problem for most people is that they’re not able to make the distinction between their ego and their true Self. So instead of observing, “I’m experiencing addiction”, their ego will tell them, “I am an addict.” Let’s assume that your experience under the influence of drugs was real. You weren’t bound by limited beliefs and past experienced. My suggestion would be to take what you learned - You’re not the result of your experiences; You’re the Creator of your experiences. So the more responsibility you take your your creations, the more power you’ll have over your own life. Don’t try to hold on to that happiness you felt while you were high. First of all, that experience was distorted by drugs. And second of all, that moment doesn’t exist anymore - different time and space. Take responsibility for creating what you truly want now rather than clinging on to an illusion.

I had an experience a week ago with Bufo Alvarius, and now it seems a bit forgotten as a dream but that day trying to describe it to my wife I said that it felt like being in the center of a white expanding star, everything seemed to be white light and vibrating expanding energy, like that expanding light "of love" had soothing waves of energy. When I came back I felt immense love and my vision was very clear, I watched the grass I was on and I could see every detail, but the most intensa part was that overwhelming feeling of love and extasy, I was hugging the earth and licking the grass in overwhelming happiness. I didn't get or I don't remember getting that feeling of divinity, to me it felt as just described or like I was in a void of nothingness me being nothing either. What I know clearly is that what I fell when I came back was beautiful, I knew no pain in that moment I was just bliss and love.

When I smoked dmt, my friends and sat at table and loaded up a glass pipe with peppermint soaked in dmt. We lit the pipe up and passed it around. The first hit was kind of chemical tasting and not much action. The second hit started a buzzing sound going in my head. The third hit I looked at my hand and it was a skeleton. And I instantaneously ripped through into another realm. Then I was sitting on a throne of bones and skulls and out in front of me were dancing skeletons that seemed to be worshipping me. The sky was blood red and lightning bolts were black and flashed through the blood-red sky. Now I looked at my arms and I was also a skeleton and on each arm a viper snake wrapped around the bony arm and slithered up and through my fleshless skull and stuck their fanged heads out of my eyes sockets -- and I suddenly realized that I was Satan. I was Satan sitting up a throne of skulls being worshipped by the Dancing Dead (so to speak). My eyes were serpents with bared fangs and flicking venomous tongues at the worshipping dead. Just when I was about to scream at this profoundly horrifying realization I was back at the table holding the pipe in my ordinary hand. And my friends really didn't have any kind of noteworthy experience smoking it but I sure the heck did.

One time I sold the Doobie Brothers an ounce and then I started thinking that I was going to be reading newspaper headlines like "Doobie Brothers Freakout on Drugs." Instead they called back and wanted more of the stuff. Having the real deal was amazing. So much stuff is fake.

@Mike Knight Laboratory synthesis Laboratory synthetic mescaline. Biosynthesized by peyote, this was the first psychedelic compound to be extracted and isolated.[17] Mescaline was first synthesized in 1919 by Ernst Späth from 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl chloride.[18] Subsequent to this, numerous approaches utilizing different starting materials have been developed. Notable examples include the following: Hofmann rearrangement of 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenylpropionamide.[19] Cyanohydrin reaction between potassium cyanide and 3,4,5-Trimethoxybenzaldehyde followed by acetylation and reduction.[20][21] Henry reaction of 3,4,5-Trimethoxybenzaldehyde with nitromethane followed by nitro compound reduction of ω-nitrotrimethoxystyrene.[22][23][24][25][26][27][28] Ozonolysis of elemicin followed by reductive amination.[29] Ester reduction of Eudesmic acid's methyl ester followed by halogenation, Kolbe nitrile synthesis, and nitrile reduction.[30][31][32] Amide reduction of 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenylacetamide.[33] Reduction of 3,4,5-trimethoxy-(2-nitrovinyl)benzene with lithium aluminum hydride

@Mike Knight We made Mescaline sulfate so you had to eat it. It was crystals. It's outrageously psychedelic but in a Native American sort of way. You definitely become the Great Spirit. You didn't get into the interplanetary other dimensions mode like LSD or DMT. You became very super-Earthy. I've eaten lots of peyote and it's the same trip. Just that you don't get sick on the synthetic like you do on the peyote. But once the sickness is over on the peyote then you are off to Native American Wonderland. I've had wild-ass trips on peyote. One time I was tripping on peyote in Paonia Colorado and I was doing Tai-chi and energy spheres of the colors of my chakras were shooting out my chi-center. Then I sat in a lotus pose on the ground and there was a rainbow arching from one palm of my hand to the other palm of my over my head from one side to the other. And dancing around me in a wide circle were Hopi Kachinas and Tibetan Deities. It was so exact that I could even see dust coming up from the ground where their feet were dancing. And they were singing in their native languages. It was wildly intense. Suddenly, I got stung by a bee and it was like I got injected with Mother Nature. I felt this sexy warm plasma intensity just take over my body and suddenly I was Mother Nature. Then I just couldn't handle the intensity of the total experience so I passed out. Eventually, I felt someone poking at me and I woke up and it was a friend of mine who had also taken peyote and he was in his white long john under thermals and he had a sign around his neck and it read "The Holy Ghost." I just about died laughing but at least it got me back to an manageable sense of reality.

How about developing a meditation practice instead? Most monks already know what was said in this video without taking a drug. My feeling is that what DMT is. tapping into is a substance that the brain releases when you are dying. Something along the lines of endorphins when you break your leg...but on another level. Why I am not into drugs "now", is that I developed something called HPPD after a few doses of LSD. I've suffered for over 25 years now due to just a few hallucinogenic experiences. Meditation has the same kind of risks. A close friend of mine has had episodes of psychosis for about 5 years now after extensive amounts of meditation (alone and at retreats). On top of that, he has PTSD any time something reminds him of that time in his life. Intense spiritual experiences, whether from meditation or drugs, has the potential to affect someone negatively.

Yeah it's pretty hard to believe but would make sense since dmt and 5 meo dmt exist in pretty much all living things as if god or nature wants us to find out or learn from the medicine which is labeled as a drug, and it would explain why these substances are illegal in most countries because people in power fear phyedelics because it dissolves the ego. It would totally make sense that dissolving the ego and your reality would show you the truth behind it as if it's pulling away the curtain of our limited 5 senses in this limited 3 dimensional reality. We think whatever generates reality is boring, mechanical, and meaningless. It's not the truth.

Also it's all linked to the pineal gland aka third eye aka cosmic doorway/eye. When smoked you can feel the energy travel throughout the body into the pineal gland. And what's really weird is ancient cultures knew this, the energy chakras. Scientists that don't believe it need to smoke it. But most of them never do for some stupid reason. Mainstream science acts like it's god that knows everything to a certain extent.

Our bodies are temporary things, that are very machinical in nature, we eat, sleep, shit, reproduce and try to survive as best we can. That is our innate instinct. But our thoughts, feelings, imaginations, art and creativity, that comes from some place else. We all can feel this overwhelming sense of love for someone, something or everything. That is God, speaking through you. Embrace the love, and express it to everyone and everything while we still can. That is our mission, the reason we're here.

If you haven't tried it you cant talk. What you experience is more real and authentic than anything you know here on this physical life on earth. Its beyond the mind because when your there your complete out of the mind, your in a whole different plane of existence and as you are now the greater higher self (If you will) you know its the real deal and you can't explain it when your back because your physical brain isn't able to comprehend and process that much understanding. Its like waking up from a dream and this life here on earth is the dream and soon becomes nothing but a faded memory. Almost every single time someone like you has tried something like DMT it completely changes they way they previously thought unless they were already spiritually enlightened/matured and connected to source consciousness.

God is just another word for consciousness/all that exists and when you release DMT your energy within/soul whatever you wanna call it vibrates beyond physical dimensions and becomes one with all that is. I know because i have been there and i understood everything from a infinitely greater level than this physical mind can, everything was a infinite amount of times more real and authentic and more home than here this life on earth and become one with all existence and i knew who i was before i was born, knew why i came here on earth, whats our mission and that its all just a big playground, a game nothing more nothing less. Its infinite intelligence wanting to know how it feels like to NOT KNOW and what it feels like to experience Separation and Ego. Its not a mind thing it goes beyond the mind i saw my own body dissolve before me as i left it and this whole existence turn into dust, i had to create it all over again and come back it complete my mission like everyone else here, the understanding is gone but the memory is diamond and remains.
