Which job are you more interested in, Viper or Pictomancer!?

Hard to say. Viper’s swish-swish-stab is great, but I’m also curious about Pictomancer’s job story. Regardless, they’re both going to 100 and will be my picks for the role quests this go around.

I’ll probably try Viper first but Pictomancer might be more interesting, like how I tried Reaper and Gunbreaker in EW/SHB but ended up spending more time later with Sage and Dancer

17:05 because the turtles were all named after renaissance painters and Leonardo uses two swords. So being named after painters = Pictomancer, Leonardo himself = Viper

I think the scope of the expansion will be fine. It's the same continent, whereas Stormblood jumped back and forth between two separate continents oceans away. On top of that the Far East section was further split into completely different areas separated by land and sea. Dawntrail at the very least is more focused than Endwalker, which found us jumping around constantly to zones entirely independent of one another.

the little language lesson was to assure all the german players there was no mistranslation, they are going to adjust the name going forward into the future.

I was really pleased by all of this! There are a few QoL things I was hoping to hear but I expect they might get to them in future patches (increasing outdoor slots for housing, for example). I'm really excited to see how my Hellsguard femroe will look! It's neat that the hrothgals use the femroe skeleton, with a couple modifications.

@@britkcaley yeah. All I know for sure though is she’s on Aether, Arthas is very protective of her experience and curating it. Her character name and info isn’t on screen to protect her from any griefing or harassment. She plays Bard though. I check in a few days ago and she’s in the Post ARR slog. She’s doing Crystal Tower. I really look forward to when she hits HW and things pick up. I loved ARR but I 100% get how some people dislike the slog of it.

Viper's a Melee DPS so I'll probably try that first and then Pictomancer, gonna get em all to 100 regardless :P

Looking forward to Viper, may actually make that my main over DRK... but, i am unbelievably happy to see a happy Krile. Her smiling just brings joy.

I’m a sucker for the colorfulness of Pictomancer, but I’m also really intrigued with Viper being a wholly new job. I’m sure I’ll end up trying Pictomancer first…but man they both look fun lol.

This might just be me, but current female miqote, Au ra and Viera look better now than with the update, not graphically, but aesthetically. Unless customization gets wild expansive to allow for same aesthetical look post update then idk.

I'm glad only 2 out of 13 reactors i seen react negatively to the fem hrothgar. Meaning theres a lot of people actually like em

I gotta go Pictomancer first, I mean just look at the aesthetic!

Viper, but it's down the line

Cheesing that one spot in the Thunder Plains is, as far as I'm concerned, the only legitimate way to do it, especially since the PS3 and 4 version has just enough of an input delay that if you press the button right as the screen flashes, you still pressed the button too late, making the TP's literally impossible unless you can see the future.

If Pictomancer is what YoshiP says, can draw the current facing enemy. Then would it mean that the stringer the enemy, the more powerful the job gets ???

This whole video was a disappointment but hopefully when the game come out the combat changes and we have actual stats now
