Sadly you missed some realy cool, little details of the Orbit decks. Actually there is a reveal, not on the jokers but on the King of Spades. Or the dedication to his grandma on the inside of the v8 tuckbox. The fakt that his mother and his sister are now the Queen of hearts and the Queen of spades is also lovely. This decks are made with so much love and dedication.

Besides that keep doing you and your fans will be here! As for the deck, got a half brick myself. 4 v8s, 2 v8ps. They might be my favorite deck, but I stated with the V7’s and idk there’s something about that vapor wave style. But Orange decks are my favorites so might end up being the V8s in the long run. As for the v8ps, I like the uniqueness of the border break! A little circle adds a different dimension compared to a straight line. That said,I love how fans with all 3 decks offer some beauty to them! Keep up the good work bro.

Thank you for your honesty, I'm happy that you took a step outside this race for cool appearance and focus on things that you really enjoyed, we're all here because we share the emotion of marvelling by how far a deck of cards can offer in terms of creation and manipulation. It would be more interesting, in my opinion, more interesting to show contents about history of cardistry, magic, how a deck is made, and others things like that rather than compare the number of decks everyone possesses I wish you the best for the future!

Man I love the 8’s. First off love that they added weapons to all the females. Also the fact they went with reader back markings is awesome. I literally had no clue until Daniel showed me lol. I thought markings were in the asteroids that are orbiting. The marking system is super easy to read since they are reader back. Great choice. Great review.

Kier, I'm in support of your direction. However, I do feel you have been an integral part of increased sales, Kickstarter goals surpassed, or the reason that a deck designer has sold out sooner than expected. You are value added. On another note, you crushed the intro and B-roll. Cheers!

Kier, I have followed your channel for a long while now and, without sounding overly emotional, I can't express how fine it made me feel to hear the things you said in the first few minutes of this video. That's something I've always kind of felt in the back of my mind while watching your videos. And it didn't bother me that your sleight of hand or cardistry were far from exceptional (that's like going to the gym and being mad that not everyone has the perfect body). Your videos were always great production-wise but what you lacked was the palpable desire to keep improving, the strive to keep getting better. You always followed the same formula and were getting a bit repetitive in my opinion. If cardistry and magic are something you truly enjoy doing in your free time, you should always try to focus on studying different magicians, techniques, flourishes etc. This is far from a negative comment. I am just glad you came to the right conclusions. You have a stable amount of followers and fantastic equipment and overall quality to your videos. I am really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for you. Best of luck, my man! P.S I am ecstatic you are not doing any more of this boring ass fontaine designs reviews. They are too lazy and undeserving of your time and effort.

The V8s are marked! I haven’t got mine yet but it says on the website they are fully marked and there was a discussion on Reddit the other day about the marking system. So deck reviews. I understand what you are saying and support you on your decision. I like all your content but to be honest I like you. Your on camera persona is, for me at least, what drives the channel. Regardless of the content (but yours is great) you are entertaining. I will miss the deck reviews. I always trusted your opinion and insight. Also gave me an up close look at decks I might be able to afford or find. But you have to do what feels right for you! Thank you for opening up. Non of it sounded silly or stupid. It sounded real. I look forward to seeing where your channel goes next. Ps I can’t wait to get Gen1 in my hands!

The standard edition is actually marked. Card Perfect Magician revealed the marking system on his Chanel.

The deck is actually marked for V8s. If you look closely at the bottom left hand side you'll see a small note there

A bit sad about it not gonna lie, but I get it. Only so many ways 2 talk about cards day in & day out, but u did it very well & the reviews will be missed! -Respect

The v8 is also my favorite then aesop and v8p.... love em lol my v8 and v8p registry was way off though kinda a downer.. but the aesops were correct.. i think everyone loves orbit so no one will care plus uspc gets ya sometimes

Sorry. I'm the first thumbs down. I understand what you're saying but nothing you said changes the fact that your deck reviews introduced me to some of my favorite decks. I am not into magic or even cardistry too much. I'm just a collector, and your reviews are WHY I watch your channel. I like you enough to not unsub, but I do think you're making a mistake by quitting deck reviews. Might have to start my own reviews. Also you're crazy for not liking the Aesop Rock variant the most.

I respect your choice and I appreciate that you’ve enjoyed my reviews. Doing them and the everlasting stress of needing to collect and show them off was just too draining and it made me resent cards I’m some ways. I’m glad some folks enjoyed them but it’s just not for me. BUT you definitely should do some reviews!
