Magic Card Trick Tutorial 🃏 ♠️Simple Double Color Change - Chicago Opener
Hey guys! Welcome and in today’s magic card trick tutorial video, I am going to reveal how to find a card by changing the color of a selected card not once but twice with step by step instructions. I refer to this trick as a Simple double Color change but is also called the Chicago Opener.

Card tricks are the most common type of magic performed today. Card tricks in particular allow magicians to perform deft sleights of hand, which amaze and amuse audiences of all ages. There are so many impressive card tricks that can be performed with just a deck of cards than with any other prop.
While learning some simple card tricks can be a fun way to pass the time with loved ones, there is much more to the art of magic than just amusement. Once you've mastered the basics of card magic, you can move on to more complex illusions using sleight of hand to truly amaze your audience.

Stop your spread 3-4 cards from the bottom. If they want the bottom card, give it to them with a glide.

One different color card i used is plastic material apart from all paper material card. Hence Is doing double lift harder? Will trick be less impressive if one different color card is different material than the rest?

If the card looks different from the side when the deck is squared up it might have an effect on the trick. If the cards are the same size then it should have no effect on the double lift.

But what if the spectator doesn’t say stop at the three of hearts?

You are forcing that card using the Hindu shuffle so no matter when they say stop it will always be the 3 of hearts or whatever card you are making (forcing) them pick 👍🪄
Forgive me, when you do the hindu shuffle you re basically just taking the cards on top of the deck, but then you show people the one on the bottom. Isn’t that suspicious? Someone could call that out.

The Hindu shuffle has been around for a long time and is used by magicians all the time. Usually if someone gets “ called out” it’s not the move that gets caught, it’s the performance of the move that gets caught and this can be resolved with practice.

As long as the double lift is clean the forced card shouldn’t be the suspicion as long as it is a good performance.
That's red hot moma or Chicago opener Michael ammar teaches this in his videos
I thought the Hindu shuffle was sus, only because I know what one looks like though.

You can also do the classic force but you take a bigger risk.
