No need to apologize, you're serving our country, and thank you for your service.
I served with your brother Micah, truly a stand up guy, someone to emulate. Smart of you to volunteer and get that bonus than getting HSSTed and losing the choice of either as well as that bonus! welcome back from the MEU, you will do great in whatever endeavors you put yourself towards!

Thank you! I appreciate it! Yeah Micah is a great example to look up to 💯
Hey, glad to hear it. I’m getting ready to ship off and your videos have helped. It shows you have a willingness to share experience and knowledge with others, as well as encouragement. Good luck. I definitely want to ask you a bit about the air wings before I ship off. I’m going in MEOP. San Diego and Cherry Point are two of the possible duty stations and aviation is something I’ve always liked being around.
You got it man Just make sure u have your appointments :) And u can go on boards to compete with other recruiters and pick up staff And don’t stress with the 3 , 6 or 9 months evaluation

Always hear great things about MSG 💯
I have always seen you as honest and straightforward about what the Marines are like and feel that is the best way to sell the Marines.I said before I saw you as a walking/talong recruiting poster for the Marines so it's good to see that you'll become what I saw in you a few years back.

@@simeon_kurosky good choice bro. I just became a poolee ur vids def help wit some questions
Not a Marine yet but one thing I'm hoping to do is become a Drill Instructor after a while in the Marines (yeah my name and pfp says it all lol). I actually wasn't sure if you could volunteer or you HAD to be selected for these special assignments so this video was very helpful :)

Some MOS are less likely to get HSSTd so it depends. There are people that dodge the HSST but it’s unlikely. It doesn’t always happen but definitely could

From the outside looking in being a recruiter seems a slight bit easier than being a drill instructor.
Damn...I remember this Marine when he was talking about Boot Camp and MOS School and now he's a Sgt of Marines ! I was wondering why he didn't mention Embassy Duty as a SDA but at the end he said he was married so Recruiting in Ft. Worth was the best choice. A lot of USMCR Air and Ground units in Ft.Worth and Dallas so you shouldn't have too much trouble making your monthly quota.

Because msg duty it just counts as a special duty assignment whenever he is a staff nco
I wanted to re enlist but I don’t wanna do a SDA but I won’t be able to get promoted I don’t wanna be stuck doing something I don’t like for 3 years

I chose recruiter and an SDA because my MOS gets hit with the HSST very frequently. So I went ahead and took advantage of the location incentive to atleast get some real estate close to my home town. Also if volunteering you get a bonus (mine is $17000, but i believe they lowered it now). I have a better chance to get promoted, and on the flip side if I chose to get out. The transition wouldn’t be bad because I’d already be in the location I want to live and also build communication skills that’ll transfer well.
You're alive!
