@@sth-1081it’s a q2b. A coasting siren. It has a clutch. Part of the reason guys kill them is because they ride the motor instead of letting it coast and wind down

what i mean by it doesn’t have a clutch, it got removed by the fd before i aquired it bc there was something wrong with it, the siren was being used for spare parts before i saved it.

@@sth-1081 I wonder why it ran so slow? Were the wires thick and was the battery fully charged? Something seems to have happened for it to run so slow at rated voltage. These pull like 70A at start up, so smaller 12-volt batteries not rated for that many amps might struggle to run the siren.
