Randomly stumbled upon these reactions, and I'm surprised to say that I'm really enjoying them! It's really fun to watch you react to these! As an avid DB watcher, a couple of random notes: 1. It's kind of funny that you've thus far randomly picked all 3D fights. The vast majority of Death Battles are in 2D, though they're still good fights. 2. You might want to avoid the first 24 Episodes. Season 1 wasn't, how shall we say, good. Of course, feel free to watch it if you wish, but expect a severe drop in quality. 3. Don't worry at all about not knowing a character. The whole reason the analysis portion exists is to acquaint people who aren't familiar with a character with who they are, what they do, and with what level of power they do it. I've watched tons of battles where I didn't know one or both of the combatants, and never felt lost or confused. I only wouldn't watch an episode if you're afraid of spoilers for a series (because chances are good that a lot will be spoiled). 4. Here's a small list I compiled that should give the average person a "taste" of what Death Battle does. Consider these my recommendations. In no way do you have to watch these, but I think you might like them. Solid Snake vs. Sam Fisher Wolverine vs. Raiden Nightwing vs. Daredevil Guts vs. Nightmare Smokey vs. McGruff Thanks, and keep going with what you love - video games and reactions. You have a new subscriber!

they present great descriptions of the characters, so it may be even more interesting for u to learn about some new characters.

Miss these kinds of fights. Even if the research was horrible the animation just got their characters so right. The choreography everything reeks of effort and good writing. These would take a lot longer than two weeks to produce and it shows.

Ratchet and Clank was my Favourite games on PS2 and Kingdom Hearts.

You have to love the narration and banter by Wiz and Boomstick. It makes the exposition almost as entertaining as the actual fight.

I really like both - Jak and Ratchet, They are both great & iconic video game character's & those two brings me back great great child hood memories. I remember long long time as a 7 year old child, playing the Jak and Daxter & Ratchet and Clank games, me & my friends were having a group conversation talking about Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank facing each other one on one. Now! Honestly I don't know who would win, They are my favorite video game character's of all time, especially there games & I really really have a hard time who is gonna win 🤪. On my 8th birthday, My mom has bought me a PSP & the first PSP game I played was Daxter. Completed the Daxter game, than the 2nd game I bought & played was Secret Agent Clank. Moving on to the PS2, The first game I played was Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy, And honesty to me, The Jak 1 game is my favorite Jak and Daxter game of all time, compared to the other Jak games, Just because the other Jak games was very very difficult, annoying and he can a little reckless to control the character in the game & I am not saying that the other Jak games are bad, I did played the Jak 2, 3, Kombat Racing & lost precursor, But I have never completed those games. On the other side, I played Ratchet Deadlocked on the PS2, Completed that game and I would play it over and over again. I remember buying & play all Ratchet and Clank games - Starting from 1 all the way to the PS4 & all of my Ratchet and Clank games would be in stack in order. I have been playing Ratchet and Clank games more than the Jak and Daxter, well sometimes I would play Jak and Daxter for a little bit, but I have been playing Ratchet and Clank games alot & even tho my family and friends still remember & talk about me playing the Ratchet and Clank games. Still, I couldn't decide who would win in a fight! Both character's are popular & iconic, They both have weapons, There skills are equally match, both are strong & fast & of course they have sidekicks to watch each other's backs. Now I did seen this video long time & honestly, all of the Death Battle videos I watch & still at this very day are really off the chain, Still could not decide who would win - Ratchet and Clank vs Jak and Daxter, But, Ratchet have more large amount of weapons and has more arsenal, But seeing Jak carry alot of eco's to be strong and super fast and he can transform into his alternate forms. I want to say Jak and Daxter for the win, but I think Ratchet has more arsenal of weapons he has, So therefore I am a Team Ratchet and Clank.

Sorry about the lack of comments on these from me. Had trouble with life stuff. Anyway, onto this fight. Ratchet was voiced by Daniel J. Edwards, who voiced Baraz from Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, and Denver Roche from Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt. Clank was voiced by Joshua Tomar, who voiced Bomb King from Paladins, Alexander Wilde from Detective Pikachu(the game), Khan from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Trundle/ Greyor/ Finn from League of Legends, and Baron Kane from Dust: An Elysian Tail. Jak was voiced by Matt Shipman, who voiced Floch from Attack on Titan, and Inasa Yoarashi from My Hero Academia. Daxter was voiced by Todd Haberkorn, who voiced Natsu from Fairy Tail, Jaco from Dragon Ball: Resurrection of F, Nobody/ Baphomet from Devil May Cry 5, Sho Minazuki from Persona, Wallace Carroll from Detective Pikachu(again, the game), and Death the Kid from Soul Eater. No original soundtracks this time. Moving on. Honestly the biggest takeaways for these characters for me is that they were both made after Insomniac Games and Naughty Dog lost the rights to Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot respectively. When you really dive into it, Crash & Spyro’s histories are very similar. Anyway, I love this fight. So much. Aside from some odd animation hiccups and every character’s first lines being kinda bleh when it comes to voice acting, the only thing I don’t like about this fight is that the whole sequence with Dark Jak was really lacking when it came to sound design. The only audio you hear is the music and voice acting. But aside from that, this fight takes everything I like about Crash VS Spyro, but it has better research and is more of a fight(both of those are weird that R&C v J&D is better considering it came out 2 years before CvS did, but whatever). The voice acting, while bad at first, got better overtime and I quickly grew to like them. Although in fairness, whoever was in the running to voice Ratchet was in a tough spot considering he’d have to impersonate James Arnold Taylor, and that’s REALLY tough to do. But I felt like it was handled pretty well. They used Tekken music up until the bit with the Breakdancing Ryno V(I’m forever gonna call it that), and honestly, it fit surprisingly well. Most of the fight’s research was done by their formerly volunteer researcher, MaxOfFewTrades, who also did a reaction video to this fight, which I will nonchalantly link here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZZd52NeyhauYdaw.html Obviously, he’s a huge fan of both series, and he wanted to make sure that it was done right. And the crew behind the fight’s writing and production were so thankful and kind about this that the ending of the fight was done for him. See, the gun Ratchet uses to freeze Jak & Daxter is called the Liquid Nitrogen Gun, and that thing’s Max’s favorite weapon in the series, and he wanted Nick(the writer) to make a note of it in the side bar for the episode. But Nick, as well as the showrunner Ben Singer(also the voice of Wiz), wanted to take it a step further. They did note it down in a side bar, but as a “thank you” to Max, they decided to use it to finish the fight. I think this is an amazing piece of trivia, really shows the relationship between the crew and the researchers. And this is when the researchers were still voluntary. Shortly after this fight, they became more involved in the decision making for the winners, with one of them ending up being a writer for 3 of the more recent episodes. Overall, a few complaints, but I still found it to be an amazing fight.

Suzy, the three Death Battles with the My Little Ponies, Carolina versus the Omega, and Black widow against Widow maker are among my favorites.

You are really cute Suzy. You should watch all the deathbattle from their early works up to now. That's like 5-6yrs worth a battles. And you can see how they've progressed over time. Accept for the Godzilla vs gamera. They could've done a remastered version, cuz their computers crashed before that one released and they rushed it.

We also need to talk about how Ratchet have EVEN MORE WEAPONS that what is shown, including Ratchet and Clank 3's Rhino, the Rhinocerator, which would insta-kill ALL ENEMIES ON SCREEN.

Next Death Battle should be RAIDEN Vs Wolverine or Deadpool Vs Dante

I already knew that ratchet and clank had a better chance at winning. More gadgets equals better advantage. That's why Batman with his smarts, he has proven him self capable of concurring nearly every superhero or villain in just about every universe. A big supply of gadgets does have a good chance at over riding powers. It's all about being prepared and using the right strategies.

You should give match ups with characters your unfamiliar with a try, it's interesting learning about them.

I have a *_LOT_* of great Death Battles that you should react to. Just... Don't go into a battle thinking or hoping that your favorite character will win. It makes it: A) A lot more satisfying if they *_DO_* win, & B) A lot easier to make a choice on who will win without your bias blinding you, & easier to accept your preferred character losing. My recommended video list is as such: 1. Boba Fett vs Samus Aran (Original or Remaster, or both) The original fight was the *_very first_* Death Battle ever. It really shows how the show has changed. Like, *_dramatically._* I, kinda disliked the remaster, because it adds a completely new segment that wasn't necessary & didn't change anything, but it looked cool so... Eh. The rest fall in no particular order, just some of my favorites: Gaara vs Toph, Deadpool vs Deathstroke, Master Chief vs Doomguy, Eggman vs Dr Wily, Strider Hiryu vs Ryu Hyabusa, Sol Badguy vs Ragna the Bloodedge, & (a couple of my personal favorites) Kirby vs Majin Buu & Solid Snake vs Sam Fisher.

@@killerg4402 Well those ones are alright too, I was just suggesting the Death Battles that I actually enjoyed enough to rewatch every now & then. Whether it be for Boomstick, or the fight was really cool, these were my first thoughts.

Yess, this battle was my childhood, worth watching but also sad to fully know the possibility. 1:10 haha I started with Ratchet & Clank GC then went UYA then the first one then I went with all Jak and Daxter 1-3. 2:28 it was hard to pick but I went Ratchet & Clank in this DB with same reasons.

Know this Suzy that someone who has over 100 weapons, over 50 gadgets, a huge amount of health, and a sidekick who has gone through a crazy adventure with his bud is the winner of Death Battle. Don’t forget that they have way more Ratchet and Clank games than the Jak and Daxter games. My advice, play the old R&C games and you’ll understand why they win.

This battle irks me. They pretty much use Clank's time-stop immunity as their ace in the hole to give Ratchet the edge, but the ability is very ambiguous in how it functions. How can we be sure Clank is immune to the eco powers that Jak uses to stop time? Beyond that, even if we give Clank the benefit of the doubt and say he's immune to Jak's time-stop, Daxter is WAY more capable than they give him credit for. He has access to and the ability to use his own weapons, he's proven to be adept at dismantling machines, and he can transform into a large hulking beast known as Dark Daxter.

But unless it's stated otherwise by either series, we attempt to equalise these things for the battle, otherwise a fight between different fictional characters as a whole just wouldn't work for this very reason. TL;DR - We assume that time works the same way in both universes in order to make the fight possible, and since there isn't anything suggesting that time works differently in either series, Clank is immune to Jak's Time Stop here. *>Daxter is WAY more capable than they give him credit for.* Even so, Daxter couldn't really provide anything substantial that would be able to change the outcome of the battle. *>and he (Daxter) can transform into a large hulking beast known as Dark Daxter.* Dark Daxter still scales below Ratchet's more powerful weapons like the R.Y.N.O, a weapon that is consistently told to be one of the most powerful weapons in Ratchet's galaxy/universe (and this is in a universe where planet busting weapons exist) and only becomes even more ridiculous and powerful with every successive iteration. One is potentially Planet Level (or Small City Level if you want to downplay Ratchet and disallow the R.Y.N.O and only give him his more powerful weapons that are below it), whilst Dark Daxter is Building Level for being comparable to Dark Jak (whom is capable of destroying large walls with a single blast).

Trilogy aside, Jak had 2 sub games and have crossed over with ratchet and sly a few times in 2 other games. Jak x racing, which had a decent plot element as well. There is also the game "Daxter", an interquel, that explained how Daxter got into the facility Jak was trapped in, Then there's that one game no one acknowledges.
