@@ghostspider2056 The facts they stated left out plenty of crucial facts and feats for Tifa. It's canon that the whole party was present to fight sephiroth and contributed to his defeat. Tifa would have to be *at least* stringer than all of the canon summons and Jenova to hurt Sephiroth. Bahumut Fury, who Zack Fair defeated, had a casual dwarf star level attack in battle. And yes every summon attack is canon, as the ultimania states that every summon attack is performed in another dimension so as to not affect the Earth. Even if you want to downplay horrendously, Tifa has bare minimum City level attacks, but survived fights against enemies tougher than summons with multi-continental to even Dwarf Star level attacks. She also scales to Faster than light enemies. Yang has massively hypersonic speeds at best, and city to multi-city block levels of strength at most right now. Implying her semblance is able to absorb as much power as tifa has is a huge No Limits Fallacy, and later in the SAME SEASON they were promoting at the time, it's proven to not be perfect when Yang loses an arm. Tl;dr Tifa one shots and murderstomps with proper feats and scaling

If I undersyand RWBY correctly from the first five seasons then once Yang started bleeding her aura was broken. If her aura was broken then her defence was that of a normal person so Tifa would've beaten her easily. Sorry Yang.

@@MrEcoho Ben did a series of blogs called Death Battle Road to 100. Because DB was nearing it's 100th battle where he talked about each battle. He specifically stated that this DB was made to promote Rwby V3. Also I don't remember them every saying that Tifa didn't stand a chance against Yang. If anything it should be the opposite. With her materia she has such a wide range of abilities (not just fire and ice) there is know way she wouldn't have been able to overwhelm Yang. They used wrong math and lore errors to underpower Tifa and overhyped Yang's semblance. I mean according to them Yang's semblance is the reason she won. But Monty Oum himself said there is a limit to how she can absord. And Tifa's strongest attacks are above anything that Yang has taken so far in Rwby. Tifa's premium heart broke during the fight, which is a massive error as I don't believe it has ever been broken in any game. And if you want more proof it was rigged. The soundtrack was supplied by RT, and RT's logo also appeared on a wall in the background. That's not even mentioning the Rwby V3 banner dropping at the end after Yang murders Tifa and smugly walks away. Look I'm a big Rwby fan and love the sunny little dragon. But really this fight was rigged.

Next Death Battle features Weiss Schnee (RWBY) vs Mitsuru Kirijo (Persona)

Fun fact: the result of this fight contains one of the most infamous miscalculations in the entire history of Death Battle. That pillar feat at the end? It measured the amount of compression force in the pillar, as in how much force it can withstand being pressed down onto it. Yang was thrown into it from the side, which would be shearing force, and in this case would be significantly smaller than the compression force.

More or less 80 tons of force... And was badly hurt as the show well showed to us, it took her a while to get back up thanks to her healing factor and still staggered from standing but she does have the power returns all those force she received in one blow! 80 tons of force! More or less so does this mean? It means the food fight is really a gag fight, not Canon! Yang shrugs off a fall worth of almost 50 tons yet she was badly hurt at 80 tons! Sure get backs up in the end but again it took her time to do that and healed up first while her team fought the paladin mech with her being temporarily out of commission

You really should watch RWBY. I’ve recommended it to all my friends and they love it.

RWBY was not good during the first season or two, but had good fights. Third season was its peak, after that it became a mess. Its not a series that I would recommend.

As fans of both sides, I really couldn't pick one over the other. But I will admit, I knew the outcome the moment I saw Yang loose a hair.

just throwing my two cents in with everyone else, RWBY is an amazing show. it's an indie sort of anime made here in the US and it's just...mind-blowingly cool, even despite the low-budget animation in the first couple volumes. yang is my favorite character so i had to root for her in this battle.

You HAVE to watch RWBY you’ll love it trust me, at first the animation is iffy but it gets better, especially during season 4. Fun fact: the voice actor for Yang, Barbara Dunkleman, did the voice acting for this fight because Death Battle is partnered with Roosterteeth, the company that created RWBY.

IMO it's a curious case. The models and lighting gets better, and the movements get smoother in most scenes... but the fight scenes just went downhill from season 3 onwards, so in a way it stays at a decent quality from start to finish.

@Sacred Icon or use Monte's version of Tifa seen in Dead Fantasy. Since everything Monte does is over the top, its more fair (and spectacular) to have Yang fight Dead Fantasy Tifa instead of FF7 Tifa.

@@konkonart7128 More fair? You realize that ff7 Tifa can deal lethal damage to creatures that were created with the sole purpose of defending the world from things that can threaten a planet right? That isn't even including the fact that she can injure a being who tanks a supernova with out even flinching. Or the fact that her arsenal should include almost a full dozen abilities that would instantly end the fight, not to mention the plethora that would at minimum mess Yang up hard. Unless you blatantly ignore the feats (which they obviously did), there is absolutely nothing fair about this fight.

Tifa while she deals a lot of damage she doesn't MAINTAIN that power constantly...she is a glass cannon. that being said...Yang would always win...

@@IDyce88 Well Tifa can end her quickly since canon Tifa took on beings that were several times faster than light. I know Yang and she is nowhere near that speed. I also fail to see how Yang is even compared to Tifa since she fought against a villain that can destroy planets with ease. Even if I massively low balled Tifa, she would still win cuz the difference is ridiculous.

@@IDyce88 Tifa is only a "glass cannon" by FF7 standards, she's tanked stronger attacks than Yang has ever been hit with. It's canon that she fought Sephiroth together with Cloud and the rest of the party as per her statements in Advent Children and just a casual sword swing from Sephiroth is much much stronger than Yang's column feat by Death Battle's own calculations.

Riiiiight!?!? They got Christopher Sabat to play Snake. Not a bad choice but I still wish they should've tried harder to get David Hayter tho. Also, the choreography of the fight itself was really well made.

This was kind of a passing of the torch Death Battle. Prior to creating the RWBY series, one of Monty Oum's favorite characters to animate was Tifa. This can be seen as she is in more of Dead Fantasy than any other character. Monty has said though Yang is based off Goldielocks, her combat style was based off Tifa (Yang's first outfit design from RWBY vol 1-3 seen here in the Death Battle was based on Yuna's Gunner outfit from X2 that Monty used for Yuna in Dead Fantasy)

Oooh. You don't know RWBY? You should definitely watch it here on KZread. Note that you should start with the first four trailers before the series proper. Start with Red (R), then White (W), then Black (B), then Yellow (Y).

Oh god...i love Yang. She's from RWBY, if you want to watch it, there are four trailers before the serie that you need to check out in this order: Red, White, Black and Yellow. Also, the concept of Yang's character is: "She's more than meets the eyes" Every stereotype you can think of about her? You can literally throw it out of the window. She's a really complex character and a smart girl. I stan one "Sunny little dragon".

Gration Since she got “yeah” on the entire roulette and not “miss”, Yang should have been hit by everything. Missing a single limit doesn’t break the chain though. It still continues if there are limits after.

Her name comes from Tiferet, thus making it like a [Teef] sound for english speekers. Now I'm quoting from wikipedia: "is the sixth sefira in the kabbalistic Tree of Life. It has the common association of "Spirituality", "Balance", "Integration", "Beauty", "Miracles", and "Compassion"." Her name fits her well. (best character of FFVII, followed by Cloud then Yuffie in my humble opinion)

Honestly, this is among the very few Death Battles I disagree with. I LOVE RWBY and I love Yang, and this battle is what got me to watch the show. But Tifa had all the advantages she needed to win. Now I don't believe the absurd thing that Tifa has solar system level of durability, surviving Sephiroth's Super Nova is purely game mechanics. Even so her Final Heaven attack makes anything Yang has survived look like nothing, and it's even been described as hitting with the force of a small nuke. That's hundreds if not thousands of times more powerful than anything Yang has survived. Death Battles claims that they decided the winner and that it had nothing to do with them partnering up with Rooster Teeth. But, and I don't know if this is true or not, I've heard that even their research team did not agree with the outcome. And given this episode came out just before Volume 3. It's pretty obvious this battle was just shameless promotion. It's sad really, since I don't think people would think less of RWBY if Yang lost. If anything it would benefit the show since FF fans would be happy and could watch the show without any bitterness towards it.

Um to be fair they didnt even let tifa use more materia plus tifa has summons plus like they said final heaven is an attack on a nuke lvl plus tbh they kinda gipped themselves because I know ppl won't watch ruby if they are tifa fans cuz of this I certainly wont give ruby a chance nowncuz they stiffed tifa like they said in think they just wanted to promote rwby but it's ok let her have this little fake win when ff7 remake comes we will rlly see tifa feats especially since she saved the other half of the game without her cloud wouldnt be alive hence we wouldnt get to sephiroth also like some1 else said they fight weapons that were designed to protect the planet from calamity fuck yang she cant hold a candle to her and if tifa rlly wanted to do something crazy she couldve used a hyper or berserk on her self and kept annihilating her with her limit breaks ima let yang have this pity fake win bitch bye ur basic af using this as a plateau to promote ur show foh

If it makes you feel better Suzy..this fight was basically Rigged..it was released when RWBY was showing their latest season after a bit of a break. Tifa in this fight was shown to be kinda....amateurish with how fast she decided to use her limit..she herself knows how her weapon works and would not have used that when its very obvious Yang is hitting harder over time..she would have realized she needs that strength and to use her better experiance as a fighter to overpower Yang and knock her out. Also the guys at Death Battle are best buds with Rooster Teeth the people who are currently doing RWBY. SO they made Yang the winner to promote the new season...which is a shame...I think this battle should have a remake Like goku vs superman...where its obvious they need to redo it without Rooster Teeths intervention. Not saying Goku vs superman should have had a remake...that one was to damn obvious...

Yeah but here's the problem with your comment The animated fight itself doesn't matter too much Like they've repeated: it is not an accurate representation of how the fight would go down It's mainly their as only entertainment After all they have a budget and time constraints to worry about which is why characters fighting use their attacks and forms much earlier than you'd expect. I mean they gotta cram as much of their abilities as possible in the fight.

RubyShedinja33 Exactly, most people take the fight so serious but the thing is the fight is just the entertainment. It’s like most people just skip the beginning and the end. They seem to only just watch the fight and because they only watch the fight they get upset with how it goes.

Hey Suzy. I was hyped when I saw this reaction of yours. Having already seen this death battle myself, I was curious to see how you would react, already knowing Tifa would loose. I am a massive fan of Yang and the (anime inspired) show RWBY, so much so I actually own Yang's aviators. I highly recommend you watch RWBY, it has 6 seasons under its belt and I suspect has many more to come given the depth of the story about the characters and the world they inhabit. Wait. They discount Tifa's superhuman strength because it's only found in the game, but don't discount that Yang can survive being thrown through a pillar that is present in the only thing she's in; the anime? Alright then. It would be more believable if they just simply brought up that Tifa has yet to win a solo fight. Seriously, she loses in everything.

If they were to remake this fight like they did with Cloud vs Link, Tifa would take this, no contest. Tifa's not limited to just fire and ice materia, and she's tough enough to tank a literal supernova to the face. Yang would have no chance, here. The only reason she took the fight was because Tifa was nerfed so hard. Yes, Yang is a great character, and she's definitely strong, but Tifa had her beat in a huge way.

I recall one person calling BS on Yang's pillar breaking feat. Basically, the 1400 ton force required to break the support pillar is compressive force, ie, the force of the highway's weight on the pillar. But Yang hit the pillar sideways, which is shearing force, and the pillar is weaker to shearing force than compressive force. So the person calling BS made a more conservative estimate and figured Yang was hit through the pillar with... ~500-600 tons of force. Which is STILL several times the force that DB calculated for Tifa's best non-Limit Break feat (140 tons).

I think you would love rwby, I know many people would love to watch you react to it. Also as a final fantasy fan, I feel like you would love a short series called dead fantasy featuring final fantasy characters vs dead or alive characters, and animated by the man behind rwby original fight choreography.

A match-up you should watch is Optimus vs Gundam. I don’t know how familiar you are with those franchises, but the battle’s really cool.

When Yang put the two Turkey's on her hands and you did the look at 3:40 was the best thing ever. lol. I really liked this battle alot. The fight animation was real good. I watched this when it first came out. Tifa and Yang are two of my favorite characters, so this was a conflict for me to chose who I wanted to win. I noticed there was alot of people who watched RWBY after this, but is there anyone in the Comments that watched RWBY before the battle existed?

Yang vs Tifa: Yang gets mad for losing a hair and kills Tifa Guile vs Paul Phoenix: Paul almost loses his whole hair and gets mad but only knocked out Guile Yang and Paul can be good friends

Would highly recommend checking out rwby if you get the chance, its actually a really good series. Also seeing as youve just played MK11 you should check out Ryu vs Scorpion or Cammy vs Sonya, I think youll like them

I remember the first time I saw this. I was already a fan of RWBY. As soon as "I Burn" started playing, I already knew who won.

Oh boy, this fight’s a doozy In terms of the voice acting, this fight does something really interesting, specifically with Yang. To provide some backstory, Yang is from RWBY, a show made by Rooster Teeth, which is the sister company of ScrewAttack, the show that makes Death Battle. Because of this, the crew behind this episode were able to get Yang’s official voice actor from the show, Barbara Dunkelman. Aside from Yang, Barbara also voiced Dolores from Nomad of Nowhere, Jensen from Red vs. Blue, Barb from Kinda Funny, Gretel from Hansel and Gretel, and Cosmos from Fairy Tail. Unfortunately, they don’t have this kind of liberties naturally, such is the case with Tifa. Instead, Tifa was voiced by Tia Ballard, the voice of Ragdoll from My Hero Academia, Marron & Caway from Dragon Ball Super, Happy from Fairy Tail, Evie from Paladins, and Hanna Diament from Attack on Titan. There wasn’t an original soundtrack for this fight, but I guess since I mentioned Death Battle & RWBY’s connection, I’ll link Yang’s theme here which they used for the second half of the fight: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gm2hs7amiNu7aKg.html I have very mixed feelings for this fight. I love RWBY, the show is freaking amazing, and Yang is my favorite character, so I was very happy to see her win, especially since I’m not the biggest fan of Tifa. And the animation, while far from perfect, was pretty enjoyable to watch, and Barbara’s performance was perfect, which is to be expected. But on the other hand, while I’m happy Yang won, I just don’t see how she could’ve. Tifa’s much better than her physically, and the Death Battle with Sephiroth shows just how crazy Final Fantasy can get. Now, Sephiroth’s fight came out 2 years after this one did, but my point still stands. I mentioned how the animation was far from perfect but I still enjoyed it, but the flaws it does have do keep me from absolutely gushing over it. Tifa’s model looking REALLY bad with the art style they were going for(they were going for a more cel shaded animation to match RWBY’s animation style), and the ice looking like polygons painted blue are the biggest problems with the animation. It could’ve been much worse, and we’ve had much worse, but it could’ve been better too. And while Barbara’s performance was perfect, I’m not the biggest fan of Tia Ballard as Tifa. I can tell there was an attempt made, I’ll give her that, but in my opinion, it doesn’t work. It doesn’t sound like Tifa to me. That’s kind of this episode’s problem, for every positive I can find in this episode regarding one character, I seem to find a negative of the same thing for the other character. I know this episode got a lot of controversy and backlash when it came out, and the backlash seems to have returned given the upcoming Death Battle coming up, and I do feel genuinely bad for the episode because of it. It’s not a great episode, but it’s not THAT bad, geez.

@reggielacey 223 RWBY is overrated garbage, I hate it when people shove it in others faces like it's the literal Bible. Awful show with awful characters. Good soundtrack, sure, but I don't need the show to listen to it.

I must admit this was one of those that I didn't know who I wanted to win.

You assumed correctly. Yang is nowhere near Tifa's level. DB is simply bad at power scaling, besides they gave Yang this fight, even if she had no real way of winning, since Screwattack and Rooster Teeth have merged when this fight was decided.

Yang won because of aura. You stab tifa she's dead or severely injured, you stab yang it bounces off as long as she is conscious of the thing stabbing her. Death battle usually gives the win to the person with the most durability because if you can survive until your oponent messes up or gets tired you can beat them, even if they posses more raw power. I dont think RT owning Screw attack had any influence on the battle, with the exception of having no chance of messing up thier research. Yang won this fair and square in my opinion.

@@dmillz5501 Yeah.... no! Aura can be broken by attacks that are strong enough. Tifa is more than capable of dishing out enough punishment to break through Yang's aura WITH EASE. If she wants to her punches can generate enough power to trigger a explossion. That is on top of being strong enough to lift and slam the Diamond Weapon which is a fuckin kaiju. Besides, by DB's own logic, Tifa is durable enough to survive a super nova(Sephiroth vs Vergil) which completely owns Yangs best durability feat, which was a gag btw, since in that fight soda cans acted like grenades while watermelons and leeks were more durable than concrete. Let's be real now, ignoring DB and only taking into account actual facts and feats Tifa completely outclasses Yang in every way. Sorry for the late reply, I only just now noticed your comment.

I knew Yang was going to win because ScrewAttack is part of the Rooster Teeth family and they are the producers of RWBY. They also got the official VA for Yang and some intern to do Tifa. It was also done as hype show before a season premier if I recall correctly. That gave Tifa zero chance of winning. They down play Tifa's strength saying it is limited to limit breaks but show that she has enough strength to throw a person with a huge sword with no leverage with enough force to break the sound barrier, which would indicate that this is a normal level of strength. While I can't say for sure Tifa would win for sure, I can say for sure that she had no chance in this DeathBattle.

Suplexing Emerald WEAPON at the bottom of the ocean floor. Never mind the whole final attack, Pheonix summon,Regen, Instant Death, Petrification,counter, magic counter,Quadra Magic, Knights of the Round Summon,Full Cure and Stop.

@@nocturnal1032 dude.....this match was bias. Tifa survived sephiroths supernova, and Yang's semblance has limit of how much damage it can take, she doesn't do well against fighters who are calm and collected and well experienced.

This was a great fight, but the ending makes no sense. Based on the breakdown on why Yang won was due to her aura threshold. However they neglected to count all of Tifa's strength multipliers. All of Tifa's normal hits while limit is full with Premium Heart do 4561.2 tons of force which is more than 2 times Yang's threshold. I will add all the math at the bottom if you are curious as to how the numbers were calculated. Just Assuming we are generous and say Yang is still hanging in there with aura, each of Tifa's limit breaks are adding additional multiplier. Tifa's Final Heaven adds a x2.625 multiplier for the limit break attack itself, then by landing a "Yeah" on the roulette, that was another x2 multiplier. Which brings Tifa's striking power from Final Heaven alone at 24,418.8 tons of force. Yang is pretty much dead and then turned to ash by the time Tifa's finished her limits. PH= Premium Heart 153 tons-force (base strength) * 7.6 (PH) = 1162.8 tons of force PH with full limit increases attack power by 4 times which is 1162.8 x 4= 4651.2 tons-force Each of Tifa's limits have their own multipliers which are as follows; Beat Rush (x1.25) Somersault (x1.375) Waterkick (x1.5) Meteodrive (x1.625) Dolphin Blow (x1.75) Meteor Strike (x1.875) Final Heaven (x2.625) Landing a "Yeah" on the roulette is another x2 multipler for each individual limit breaks, they do not stack afterwards. Final numbers for each limit break with x2 "yeah" multipliers. (4651.2 * 1.375 (Somersault)) * 2 = 12,790.8 tons-force (4651.2 tons-force * 1.5 (Waterkick)) * 2 = 13,953.6 tons-force (4651.2 tons-force * 1.625 (Meteodrive)) * 2 = 15,116.4 tons-force (4651.2 tons-force * 1.75 (Dolphin Blow)) * 2 = 16,279.2 tons-force (4651.2 tons-force * 1.875 (Meteor Strike)) * 2 = 17,442 tons-force (4651.2 tons-force * 2.625 (Final Heaven)) * 2 = 24,418.8 tons-force

@@dmillz5501 correct, however that reset happens after Tifa goes through the entire roulette of attacks. Unlike the rest of the party in FF7 Tifa technically only has 1 limit break that continues to add new things to it. The other characters get to choose 1 of multiple limits to use. All 7 of Tifa's scale off the multipliers then reset after Final Heaven or whatever limit she currently has learned in your game.

Speaking of Tifa, have you seen the Dead Fantasy fan series by Monty Oum (R.I.P.) 😔

I feel like RPG characters like Tifa have a natural disadvantage in death battle, since all their combat feats take place in the turn-based battle space, so their feats aren’t as visible. Anime and action game characters get an advantage because we get the chance to watch all of their canon fights and keep track of their feats. So whether or not Yang would actually beat Tifa, Yang has a lot more evidence to back up her side of the argument.

The same thing went for me, I was rooting for Tifa (played FFVII) and never watched RWBY before, so I was kinda bummed out when I saw the result. However, now that I have watched RWBY I am rooting for Yang, my favorite character of the show, no doubt. The reaction was kinda similar to mine back in the day haha

I love both characters..however I knew that Yang was holding back for the entire match XD this reminds me..I can't wait for how the new season of RWBY will be like! :D

Yang is my fluffy blanket haired baby and her smile must be protected.

(NO SPOLERS!!! All I talk about is how the show is and it's current to future possible progression without any mention of specific activities that take place or any words exchanged between characters.) Yang is a character from RWBY a series created by Monty Oum who died near the end of the production of volume three from an extreme allergic reaction. The series itself was built using these two key features: 1. Most, if not all, characters in the series are in some way inspired by a character from a fairy tale, story, or historic figure. Yang, for example, is inspired by Goldilocks. 2. Everything about character development and story progression was intended to resemble (and sometimes be based off of) an actual fairy tale. Fortunately before Monty passed away he'd left notes that go as far as a tenth volume, and as of this comment volume seven is in production right now. Unfortunately however, it's a strong opinion of the RWBY community that the storyline has been progressively falling apart since volume three ended. However as someone who has tried (and is still trying) to write a story, I've found that the format used to create stories like The Odyssey and Star Wars can be difficult to format when you want all the characters to act a certain way now and act another way later. In that way when I tried to create just the template I had troubles with the mentor part. I believe what happened with volume six (the volume that pushed a lot of people out of RWBY entirely just by how illogical it was) was just two things. First is that they were trying to get the mentor introduced and out of the way, but in focusing on that so much they forgot to address all the little things (which could be avoided easily if they were given even a month or two more). Second they tried too hard with some of the humor. It was less well constructed jokes and more labored jokes that just felt forced. Along with those two things are a bunch of little things. Such as (relative to earlier volumes) dull animations. At one point where Yang is using her gauntlets to fire at an enemy from a distance she just stands still and fires it while in the first volume it was almost like she was actually punching someone. The other semi-big one is that a certain mistake by RoosterTeeth diminished a lot of potential for the show. Last, and probably the most under-addressed one is that the show was supposed to get darker, but humor was just forced into it. Some well placed humor that isn't too bold is great, but trying to turn it into a sitcom considering their circumstances is just stupid. Not going into detail about what exactly about it is dark because this isn't the amino or fandom, but I think if the message from the community was clearly read then RoosterTeeth will do better in volume seven. Now to actually watch the video XD

The Bullshit I call on this is they actually equipped her with a weakness in the premium heart. They also said aura healed minor wounds. But then used it to heal all of them.

Well originally, FF is Japanese so Tifa is read as "Teefa" as you said. Japanese don't have the context of English pronunciation anyways. 😁

The outcome actually bothered me mainly because Yang just wouldn't do a fatal move like that against a human opponent. Okay, so it's Death Battle, not Sissy Slap-Fight, but Yang would simply never _ever_ kill someone over a fun little bar brawl.

Since when Yang can tank a nuclear explosion? (it was stated in game as well as in the official FF7 compendium that Final Heaven hits with the force of a nuclear explosion). I call BS on the "result/research" but great animation.

You should totally do a ff7 play through series!

RWBY is an awesome show that's totally free to watch with a community that LOVES reactors. It'd be awesome to see you do a reaction of it. If you do decide to, four things to note: 1. The first four trailers and later character shorts ARE MANDATORY. You must watch/React to the "Red," "White," "Black," and "Yellow" trailers before starting the main show. Watch the "Ruby" Short RIGHT BEFORE Volume 4, the "Weiss," "Blake," and "Yang" shorts RIGHT BEFORE Volume 5, and the "Adam" Short RIGHT BEFORE Volume 6. All of these contain canonical tidbits that are important to the main story. (Well, technically, the manga officially replaced the trailers as canon, but they're basically the same, and it's awfully hard to react to a manga chapter in any meaningful way, plus 99% of the fanbase has only seen the trailers, so yeah, just watch them.) 2. Also, there are "information dispensers" for the first three volumes in the form of videos called "World of Remnants." They're cool, but totally optional. If you want to watch them, I'd reccomend watching each volume's batch of WoRs after Episode 6 of said Volume (aka the halfway point). Again, totally optional. 3. Volume 1 is...ahem, rough around the edges, to say the least. Trust me, the show become really good starting in Volume 2, and Volume 1 still has a lot of good stuff in it. Plus each Volume is quite short in comparison to, say, an Anime Season, so it's a show that easy to watch, too. 4. The show is totally free and available to watch both on KZread and on the official RoosterTeeth Website, however, from Volume 6 onwards, the show is ONLY available on the RoosterTeeth Website. They have no problems with reactions uploaded to KZread of that or any other Volume (in fact, the writers and actors watch and love many of them), but you need to use their website to watch the show after Volume 5. I was introduced to the show via this Death Battle, and it's seriously worth a watch - even if you don't want to react to it. Also, if Tifa was pronounced as you suggested, it would be spelled as "Tiffa." In general in the English language, when two vowels are separated by a singular consonant, 90% of the time the first vowel is long (Tifa = Tee-fuh, Make = May-kuh, Broccoli = brahk-oh-lee).
