MY FAVOURITE CLEANING OF ALL TIME

🤫My ASMR Channel: youtube.com/@AurikatariinaAsm...
Hi I’m Aurikatariina and I deep clean my followers' homes for free! ❤️
This is part two of last weeks video of cleaning a cockroach infested home in Miami! I have never seen this many cockroaches in my entire life and honestly I didn’t even think this would be possible! They were everywhere and even crawling on top of me. This time we cleaned the daughters room, bathroom, living room and laundry room. What was sad about this home was that the residents couldn’t even sleep in their beds. They had to sleep in a sitting position on the couch. And the couch was filthy by the way. Luckily the mom said that she will be buying a new couch for them si the old one will be thrown away. She is also going to but them new beds so they can get some rest finally. Next week we are cleaning the moms bedroom and toilet and you don’t want to miss that! ❤️

The sad fact is the mother doesn't really care enough to do anything, it was even the kid who contacted the cleaner for help, not the adult in the situation. The strange thing about pest control is, that nobody wants to admit that they called them. I had an internship for 4 weeks at a pest control company, most of our work was "monitoring" if there was a problem at all (you lay out glue traps to control if any bugs got caught). We had to service the supermarkets very very early in the morning so that nobody would see the car in front of the supermarket. But EVERY store has bugs not and then. Even the hardware stores. So it is actually a good sign to see pest control somewhere, because somebody is taking care of the bugs at all! I think the key to not having bugs is don't feed them: store food in closed containers, don't leave any leftovers lying around. But the warmer the country, the higher the risk of getting bugs anyway - don't be ashamed to call pest control!

When I lived in Texas I never had cockroaches in one house because the scorpions ate them. Be careful what you wish for! And you’re right-never leave any food or crumbs out anywhere. This doesn’t eliminate cockroaches but it reduces them. I am always alarmed when I hear people say, “Oh, just leave the dirty dishes. I’ll clean up in the morning.” These people have never seen a cockroach or an ant infestation. Roaches will eat anything and can live a long time with no food at all. They ate my rubber spatulas to get at the microscopic oil left on them after washing. Yuck.

I always read the comments that people think they know how long and how much Auri has, and how she needs to do more. I just got done with a home yesterday of an elderly friend of my best friend. We drove an hour away, the house was very filthy. It didn't have cochroaches. Their wasn't extreme trash, but alot. Two of us working together for 5 hours. We are not as young as Auri, but we managed the best we could. I can barely move today. Your inner and back thighs with all the bending, lifting, scrubbing, scraping etc... causes so much pain. Recovering today with Bengay and tylenol. Auri does so much! She is Amazing. Try cleaning a disaster and then go shopping or painting to do more for someone. Its not possible. Truly love what you do. I don’t know the mother’s situation but my Mum and brother were like this. Among other things, they left trash, food and plates everywhere, never cleaned and it was hard growing up like that. We lived in the UK so we would get lots of house flies and carpet bugs. I tried my best to clean when I got home from school but it became too difficult to maintain. I ended up suffering with childhood depression and I only felt better after moving out. That’s why I love what you do Auri! You help as much as you can and I can see your genuine passion about what you do. Cleaning is a demanding and sometimes gruesome task, but it does wonders for mental health to have a clean space to live in. I hope the girl in this house feels much better, and can finally have some good sleep and peace of mind. You and your brother are a blessing ❤ much love

I think she's a terrible person. Not because of the mess, not at all! I don't judge when it comes to however dirty the house is, i keep it minimally judment free when it comes to the dirt. I think she's horrible for making her child reach a level where she sleeps SITTING down a COUGH. This is super fucked up. At that point, she should've used her child's discomfort as a motivator to do better. Sure, everything esle is already horrible, but that had to be the breaking point to literally see your child sleep in such a way, and for years too. Mind blowing to me. I don't wish anything well to the mom, I find her to be disgusting (literally too). I just hope she can do better at least (but I doubt it, as others mentioned). the only person I feel so bad for is the child. POOR THING.

I said that on your instagram!!! I said theyre definitely coming out of her backpack at school. I knew it. Its honestly hard for me to believe how cps has never showed up here ever. Especially from school. Nobody made a report even once? All these years, Teachers, counselors, school nurse, nobody??? If shes not showering and there are signs of neglect, here in the US teachers are Mandated Reporters (just like healthcare workers, social workers, etc) It means that if you witness a child being ab*sed or neglected you must report it. If cps wouldve come there (especially in florida where they are very harsh) mom wouldve been arrested, and the child would've been removed & placed in foster care (unless there was an approved family member to release her to), and mom would have had to jump through hoops completing all their obligations and having them show up at the home several times for a home check to see if there's improvement. And it can be months or even years before they close your case. I've seen this happen to two different parents.

Auri, I've been a fan of yours for months now and have seen all your videos and already adore you immensely...but this house you cleaned was a new level. You are a living, breathing angel helping these people the way you do. I grew up with a single mom and three siblings, and due to our mother's state of mind and alcoholism, our house or apartment was always in a horrendous state. I had friends who would come over to help me clean every now and again. It always meant so much to me, even then, though especially in hindsight. What you are doing for these families, especially children, is huge. I remember being a child and thinking I wasn't good enough because I didn't have clean spaces like other people. I strongly believe these dirty environments are representations of how these individuals feel about themselves...a representation of their self worth at that time. By giving them the non-judgemental help that you do, I strongly believe you are helping their souls more than you know; perhaps especially the children. God bless you, Aurikatariina

As terrible as this situation has been, the fact that the mother asked for help and allowed Auri to film her home was a HUGE step in the right direction. I believe this showed that the mother did care however didn't know or was too embarrassed to ask for help. Shaming these people drives the problem further into the shadows of society and shows that their fear of letting people help them is justified. She obviously loves her daughter and wanted better for her. I believe that Auri has a way of earning the trust of people in the situation's we see. So she is a god send. So for anyone who has criticised this mum, I hope you can consider praising her for taking this huge step. I think that allowing Auri to clean was a courageous and admirable step. Let’s face it, “Nicole” and “Rihanna” have been living in far worse - they’re sleeping on a manky bogging couch every night, so at this point I don’t think it’s going to bother them if a roach or two is under the mattress. To answer your questions: Cleaning does help keep roaches away! They sustain themselves on left out food and stagnant water. It's really important to clean dishes within reasonable time or at least rinse them. A lot of people take preventative measures to keep roaches from getting in by spraying chemicals around entry points of the home. As for the white spot on the wall, there was likely a hole there that was later filled and repaired with spackle.

Yes, sadly, the roaches will go in their ears, nose, and mouth while sleeping, and they carry bacteria on them and can make you ill. The reason they aren't everywhere depends on the environment, if it's not a suitable environment for them say lack of food they won't stay there. Too much activity and light they do not like it. Yes, cleaning helps, but even clean homes can have them. Although you can not do everything for these clients, what you do, do for them is amazing! About roaches, since you're not from here: If you keep your house clean, you won't have roaches. If you keep dishes done and your food stored properly, then no problems. IF a few roaches come into a clean home, they came from outside or a nearby house, and you can immediately spray to keep them from staying and multiplying. They only stay if they have things to eat (food and garbage). Same with grocery stores. They HAVE to keep things clean. If they do, no roaches. But grocery stores and restaurants especially have to keep a close eye to prevent them. When we first moved into our home, it was evident that there had been some cockroaches from the former owner, and we had to battle them (not many) for a few weeks. But they have NEVER come back and we have lived in this house for almost 30 years now.

So if I don't feel well enough that day that week it doesn't get done. I also can't burn it due to allergies. So I put any food waste that's safe out for wild animals to eat. Most of the garbage is literally cardboard boxes which the garbage pickup won't take in winter since it all has to be in plastic bags due to frost laws. But most of the boxes won't fit in a bag lol I put the rest of the garbage in bags and keep it in the garage to take out when I can so it's not in the house. It's also super cold here so there aren't roaches so much. :) @@sellyourhomenowbook

Dear Auri, please don‘t worry about these people who complain about the furniture!! It’s totally plausible that you need every minute for cleaning! Those people should make their own channel and spend their time to help the residents of these homes with new furniture. My dad always used to say to such people: „if you have a great idea, you have the honor to be the first one to make it happen.“

Maybe someone in the Miami area will see this and recognize who this is. Auri would lose the ability to clean for people if they thought she would “turn them in” to social services. She is giving them a chance to start over, but it is not the ultimate solution, as Auri probably knows. Roaches don’t appear in schools and stores because they are sprayed to keep them under control. If the mom and girl leave the house during the day, they can spray to kill back the infestation.

It would help if you could actually speak and write proper English. Auri gets it wrong all the time, but she is not an English speaker in the first place. You are. Trashes is a verb like "Auri's friend trashes her own apartment". What Auri should be saying is 'trash' when refering to what she is doing, and you should have just said 'trash'. I am not American but an Australian and we use the proper English spelling for mould, but you can be forgiven if you are American on that. Crockroaches, that is not a word. You mean cockroaches.

We made a game out of spotting them on the 'Small World' ride. And one _jumped_ off a garbage can onto my sister-in-law. We were both shrieking and running/dancing down the path freaking out, but now it's pretty funny in hindsight. Of course, those are palmetto bug roaches, which is a little different than these german roaches, which live indoors in places that tend to be a bit dirty (but not always). But, yeah, warm wet climates, bugs of are going to be everywhere.

Amazing work by you and your brother. Thank you for helping this family. I think flipping the mattress and fresh sheets is fine until they get new ones. Auri you will really appreciate a "raid room fogger" it gets set off, everyone must leave for 6 hours, and afterward you air it out, and the roaches are dead. Anyway i think the resident should call to have the fridge hauled away and it should have been emptied and wiped the gargage pick up staff might not touch it like that.
