I think 'with distortion' is my favorite of the bunch, but I love them all! Thanks so much for all you do Omri!

@@OmriCohen-Music well my biggest problem is not getting ideas on what to do, when i make a sequence and add a bass to it i pretty much have no idea how to continue after those :P Right now my goal is to find about 10-20 modules wich i really enjoy and llearn them completely, recommendations would be nice :D my goal with vcv is to make very psychedelic and random and generative things but still at least performable , shpongle is a BIG inspiration, but i like doing bunch of different things too with vcv. if you could do a more psychedelic patch tutorial i would love that!

@@bruhman0114Shpongle is a big inspiration for me too. Something that might help you, is, as you said, choosing a collection of modules and working with them only as a sort of a 'fixed rack', similar to how you do things in hardware. Don't overwhelm yourself with modules, and try to dedicate time just for practicing without the pressure of finishing a patch\composition.

@@OmriCohen-Music could you give me some recommendations on wich modules i should look at for such music or is it possible for you to do a shpongle insired patch from scratch where you show some modules and ideas for that type of music? Thank you for the quick answers man!

does anyone knows if "midi map" would work also on linux? I do not have a controller at the moment but I might buy one, if anybody could confirm it works with linux it would be great

Works fine on a steam deck ( which by virtue of being arch based is running pipewire ). Hardware devices show up under ALSA - if you're using an external software sequencer like patroneo that should appear under jack. Twiddling knobs on my Impact LX 88 works great.
