It’s really really nice to hear Abby say positive things about former dancers that she may not have ended in great terms with. I so much prefer to see this side where Abby compliments their strengths. Wish it would have been more of a focus on the show.

They did and unfortunately as much of a great idea a documentary type show would be for the dance world something filled with drama like dance moms was a clear winner. It’s unfortunate and I’m glad Abby is now able to shed some light on her true feelings about the dancers she worked with

She gets views for it, that’s all. I do think she really misses the girls, but she won’t ever acknowledge that she was the reason that her relationship ended with all the girls. She will never admit that she traumatized them or apologize for it.

@@queenofhearts1819 Facial expressions seem over the top when cameras are right in their faces, but they are needed for people watching them from far away. They are used for the audience. I can guarantee you that the expressions were not over the top for anyone in the audience.

I totally agree with what you said about Paige with that solo, I’ve always thought something about that setting made her seem so much more at ease compared to how she seemed on stage at other competitions

I can’t watch maddies last solo without crying, it was so perfect. Everything about it. I could feel her every emotion. She has a stage presence that’s unbeatable no matter the technique or style she’s against. Maddie had ambition that only adults could wish they even had.

Kenzie’s solos were always so clean and entertaining to me. Love sink or swim, her last hip hop solo, and the lip singing one

i have so many favorite routines, but i have to say Chloe's "Dream on a Star" solo is always in my top 2 because of how breathtaking it was, and just how effortlessly she did that routine.

Not surprised. Her only worry in the world was Maddie’s success. Around the time they were in AU, Nia’s music was coming out and she was gaining popularity. Melissa couldn’t handle that someone might outshine Maddie performance wise/fame wise so she made up an excuse why Nia shouldn’t go. I have zero credibility but I’d bet i’m pretty close to correct 🤷🏻‍♂️

Out of my mind is sooo underrated! Kenzie looked like she was having so much fun.

One of my favorites is Maddie's "Fool Me Once" solo.

I don’t know how many people favorite this solo but it’s one my all time faves. It’s Maddie’s solo birthday it was so spectacular! The acting, the choreography it was just perfection.

You Abby is full of crap all day. It was more than likely her fault.

Everyone forgot about Camryn. Her breaking free solo would make anyone emotional. Abby didn’t choreograph that one but I wonder was Abby would think if she saw it. And what would Abby think of Chloes crazy group dance with the villain when she moved to the other studio.

Chloe's "Nobody's Perfect" was always one of my favorites. Also I loved Maddie's "Hostage" and Elliana's "Aria". Group favorites: "Home Again" and "Ghost Town".

i love how abby's lecturing us on how to do a push up lol.

That color palette is gorgeous-the deep olive green top with the auburn hair, etc.. -- My favorite solo will probably be Lizzie Borden.

My favorites of all time are Maddie’s “Down My Spine” (Highly Underrated, those first 8 counts take my breath away) and Lilys “Straight Escape” also at the end of Brookes Diary of Anne Frank routine where she slides the diary away? CHILLS.

Something about the group dance, Pretty Reckless and Is There Still Hope gives me goosebumps. I felt like Kalani always stood out in the dances because of her face and her legs/feet to me lol but I love all the girls there’re all amazing! but there’s something about her dancing that I just feel it. And side note Lilly’s Solo Straitjacket was pretty much perfect, that dance was on another level honestly

Mackenzie- “Cry” ( her emotional execution) and “Superstar”. Maddie- “Cry” (technique) and “The Hostage”. Nia- “Working Girl” (even though she forgot, her improv was amazing and the Sass). Chloe- “Dream on A star,” “Lucky Star” and “Silence”. Paige- “Make Some Noize”. Brooke- “The Diary of Anne Frank”. JoJo - “Fashion Victim” and “Faith is All I need”. Kalani- “The Swan Solstice”. Kendall- “D.O.A” (mostly because of the concept of being dead and then retelling the story backwards.) Elliana - Am I enough? As a kid. In season 8 “The strangler”. Lily- “Dainty but Dangerous when she was young, Season 8 “Mommy Dearest”. Brady- “PTSD”. Savannah -“Metamorphosis” (Brooke’s was good Acro wise) but Savannah was amazing. Sarah G “Shame”.

Nia's 'Goodbye Maya' routine is one of my favorites. I also like her 20s Scat performance in the glittery purple costume.

i loved maddies solo "breaking down walls" that was the solo that really made me fall in love with her dancing. it gave me chills

I find it amazing how much the dancers have progressed. The choreography and the execution in some of these dancers is absolutely stunning, Abby’s honestly amazing at what she does, plus the range of styles and techniques is really impressive. Thanks for showing everyone the power of dance, Abby!

I think my favorite dance will always be “The Witches of East Canton” from season 4.

Abby, your advice and observations are like gold. There's beauty in bringing out each individual's best on stage, which you ALWAYS work hard to do. I love seeing your favorite works & look forward to more!

I love the choreography for Disappear, and Chloe's solo Please was so beautiful. I was so sad when Paige's solo with the balloon didn't air- I can't remember the name of that one. I loved Brynn's solo The Chase!

Kendall’s DOA was a very interesting story that I loved to watch! I also thought Maddie’s Someone Special and The Hostage were just executed flawlessly !

There are many but the one that really makes a mark in my brain is STRAIGHT JACKET by Lily. Probably one of your best dancers you have ever had. She was versatile and willing.

I loved the travis payne routine beauitful bizarre. I know you didn't choreograph it but still stunning. Also I loved rags to riches season 4 (yes I know they are not solos) for solos I loved bond girl with maddie and sink or swim with Mackenzie.

I absolutely love Bond girl, Maddie kept me invested the entire performance! I was livid when she got 2nd

Lilly straight jacket was amazing my favourite group dance was is there still hope I cry every time I see it and the prom was great

5:07 this goes perfectly with what I'm about to say. my swim coach has a saying that goes "practice doesn't make perfect. perfect practice makes perfect." and I completely agree with it. you can do as much of one thing as you want, but if you aren't doing it correctly and efficiently, then it doesn't do anything.

Years ago, back when the IMDB forums existed, someone came on and asked, "What dances would you like to see on the show?" I suggested a Lizzie Borden solo and a redo of the Seven Deadly Sins group dance. Months later, to my amazement, both of my suggestions were on Dance Moms! To this day, I still can't believe that even happened! : D
