Unfortunately I have to wait for the weather to warm up before I can start painting again but I have a few things I want to try/practice next year. I want to do some Dutch pours and some more practise at Dutch Blooms. I got some really good results from a cloud pour I did so I would like to work on that too. My main goal is still to try and recreate/create something similar to one of the first (or maybe *the* first?) paintings in your Brightlines series. It was a couple of swipes over a rainbow palette on a black background. I want to recreate it but with fluorescent, neon paints. I'm still having issues getting the fluorescent paints to look vibrant without the blacklight but definitely getting closer! 😂 Ooooh! I had totally forgotten that gorgeous turquoise base with the violet blooms on it! That was one of my favourites! So bright and spring-like; totally the opposite of what I usually like but I'm a sucker for anything teals/turquoises and purples! 😂 It was so pretty! I either leave my edges as they are with drips or i wait until it dries and touch them up or paint them a solid color! check out my other videos, I do show it in the beginning. thank you!

Molly all your art, whatever technique you use comes out beautifully! I only do straight pours and dirty pours. My work is on social media and some are liked, but I don't want to do just straight pours. However, as you said there are multiple techniques one can learn and that is what I plan to do. I am in an art course learning, however, I feel I would want to learn more about swiping for 2024.Happy Holidays!!!

no silicone here. it's amsterdam acrylic paint with PM (floetrol + gloss medium) , then I mix the australian floetrol with amsterdam acrylic and then swipe it across There are many different ways to create cells, I explain it all in my course: smartartcourses.com/swipe-technique/ .
