I know!! I heard the soundtrack during a musical binge at work and was absolutely blown away. So of course I went to see if there are any Broadway scenes. COME TO FIND OUT EVERY PERFORMANCE WAS DONE BY PEOPLE WHO JUST REALLY LOVED THE SOUNDTRACK. Like.... That's amazing and while I'm sad there isnt a Broadway show there are other shows to watch.

@@nicolerobertson2654 yeah it didn't make it because broadway wanted to cut some of the people in the ensemble and they said "no, either you have all of us or none of us" so they were like, okay fuck you. and they kicked them out and cancelled them coming to broadway

shrek should never have been a musical, shrek was meant to defy traditional disney musicals sure it slaps but it doesn’t fit in a parody especially since the musical should never exist in the first place

I’m so glad that the Hunchback has been getting so much love in the past few years

I know a lot of people dislike Shrek the musical but it got me through A LOT. Like, specifically the line "being liked is grossly overated" really hits different when you're lonely. Ik this sounds kinda sad but I honestly think it's really underrated and it has an amazing message.

THE BUILD UP IN GOD HELP THE OUTCASTS!! When the ensambl lo e starts w the "i ask for wealth" all the way to "bless me!" IS MY FAVORITE PART OF THAT SONG! My favorite part of Hunchback is in Esmeralda when Frodo starts "The devil dwells in Esmeralda" to the end, chills every time

i saw frozen the musical in the westend a few months ago.. CHILLS !! elsa was played by the actor who played eponine in the les mis film, would 100% recommend

Fun Fact: in high school, when we did Shrek the musical, on the last night, Shrek sang "being liked is grossly ogre-rated" and it was beautiful!

Ayoo!! Anastasia is one of my absolute favorites. My husband and I have seen it twice now, and I gotta share something with you. When we saw the last tour, the guy who sang Stay, I Pray You, was absolutely incredible. There's a bootleg of him singing the song, look up "stay I pray you, Christian Mcqueen". I hope you like it!

Be more chill is what introduced me to musical theatre and it got me through a really hard time and I still have so many shows to experience that will certainly have an impact on me but I’m so thankful for it for that reason. Also I was privileged enough to see it on Broadway and the Broadway experience is so absolutely incredible.

Ciara’s performance of Monster settles it: she’d kill World Burn or Someone Gets Hurt.

Michael Arden is one of the most talented people living. Not only is he an insanely talented actor and singer, but he directed some of the best revivals Broadway has seen in the last few years. Each with a very original and breathtaking reinvention of a well worn show. It's pretty amazing.

Yes. I saw Anastasia live; when the Romaovs came into the background I internally gasp. I cant explain it, the staging of that moment in the number is perfect. I cant imagine Still/Neva Flows (Reprise) without the Romaovs in the background behind the glass doors.

@@trizzachiu3703 I did enjoy seeing it live. I will note, it wasn’t the Broadway production but the touring company I saw live. That doesn’t change my experience at all. Anastasia was my favorite movie growing up so I was so excited already. Then Anastasia ended up being the last show I saw before quarantine hit last year. Anastasia the musical holds a place in my heart for those two reasons: 1. Favorite movie growing up & 2. Last show I’ve seen in over a year (my family has been season tickets holders to our big city’s theatre district for 5 years).

George Salazar has one of the best voices on Broadway! This whole compilation is 100% on point. Love it!

I think that if you don't get a chill listening to the last part of Phantom of the Opera when Christine reaches that super high note you are very blind to the sheer talent anyone has to hit that. It just makes me shiver it's that good.

“Someday” guts me every time. Especially when you see the acting in a bootleg. Like tears.

I was gonna comment that you started off strong but there truly wasn't a single song that didn't give me chills so I think we're the same person

I know the song isn't in here but So Big/So Small always gets me, the song is so heart wrenching yet simple at the same. It leaves me crying every time.

This compilation was so good that I started full-on bawling. Great job!!!

in my school we have a christmas program every year with the 1st greater playing mary, joseph, animals, shepherds, etc., and each grade kindergarten through 8th grade sings a song. one year the theme of the show was christmas on broadway. the opening song that the whole school sang was seize the day from newsies and it made half the audience cry. it was amazing, 8th graders on the stage when the massive curtains opening, 2nd through 5th graders standing along the walls of the auditorium, 6ths and 7th graders on risers on the sides of the stage, and 1st graders onstage with the 8th graders, all of us singing loud and beautifully.
