There's only one trick I think they're missing to make this mod PERFECT. For the boss intro cutaways, when it's Peppino it renders him in this muscly, ultra-detailed Shonen/western comic book style. For the mod I think they could take it above and beyond by rendering their female equivalents in that ultra thin lined 80s bishoujo fantasy style, big wild hair and eyes with too many highlights. Really lean into it, you know?

I like that everyone acknowledges and accepts the fact that the Peppina sprite is just really tall. I am painfully biased towards character height differences, I think it's a cute detail when she taunts with Peppino and has to crouch down. It's cartoonish and almost feels intentional when her sprite just slightly clips through things or gets obscured. It feels like something this game would do, anyways. It's a wonderful mod and I support the developer's creativity.

I like how Fake Peppina keeps the distorted appearance but instead of uncanny valley she's just more angular like a rougher drawing of Peppina so she's still got some cuteness too. Hopefully that carries over into the actual boss fight when it's done. Also a nice touch how Peppergirl uses the artist motiff to fill in Pepperman's shoulder charge with the painted cutout of his arm.

They got the style they were looking for down pretty well, but I do wish that Peppina has a bit more motion on some of her sprites. Some of them come off as a bit stiff. The worst one for me being the superjump cancel. I feel like if they gave her a little spin when she goes into the knee, it would feel a lot more natural.

The Peppina clones look terrifying. I'm excited to see the boss fight completed...hopefully someday.

I like the detail Noise-chan still readies up to get fucking socketed in the face when she gives peppina the middle finger, she could've not but still she did, I'd also like to think Noisette is like the mom or aunt that comes to drag her neice to the salon.

While it's kinda strange where you have moments Peppina's sprite becomes Peppino, her mouth being transparent to the background, and Gustava's sprite becoming Gustavo at times, I like the idea. Hell, I wish this was an official Tour De Pizza DLC.

My reaction to the War Clones: Was that the Bite of 87?!

This update did a lot of stuff right. A few color corrections and added animations later, Peppina looks far more complete as a character and the knight transformation looks _sick._ Also Noise-Chan dabs, which made me do a double take and go "Why YOU..."
